I close my stubborn cuticles with vinegar and water, aloe Vera isn’t a low enough ph for me. Then I do a leave in, oil or butter, and finally silicone. My hair is naturally very high porosity.

My hair is really dry and frizzy, I also face a lot of tangles after washing my hair. I have fine and wavy hair. My hair gets wet fast ( if I use my hands it took 7-10 seconds to get wet in the shower). it also dries very fast. I mean after washing my hair it dries within 2 and a half hours. what type of porosity I have? please help me.
It sounds like it’s high porosity. The strand test isn’t always accurate because hair will float due to surface tension. It’s more accurate if you very gently push the hair into the water when you place it into the cup. Keep in mind your hair doesn’t always have to be either low or high porosity. It could be medium porosity, you know your hair best. But again, to me it sounds like it’s high porosity! Hope that helps.

Water is a hydrator. You have to add moisturizer after hydrating.

You have high porosity so you definitely want to start sealing in your moisture. Maybe do a oil rinse after deep conditioning
