    Another tip is to start with drenched hair. Water is a whole moisturizer in itself and I wanted to seal that in with the aloe and cream. It made a huge difference for me!

      Water is a hydrator. You have to add moisturizer after hydrating.

    So...I washed my hair last week and decided to do the hair porosity test. I remember clearly being low porosity when I did the test a while back (years ago). My two strands immediately sunk to the bottom. I was shocked! No wonder my hair be so dry sometimes! I straighten my hair. How do you moisturize your hair then?
    When you showed how your hair was before, it spoke to me girl! This is me! Thanks for the tips!

    I found your channel through your straight hair videos, as I consider becoming a straight hair natural like you have apparently done. But then I found this video! Girl, you look so good with your curls! You look good in general, but you're stunning with your hair like it is in this video.

    Wow, so glad I found this video! This video is such a blessing. I was doing everything except the oil for my wash day. The day after a wash my hair would be left dry and frizzy. I’ll have to try this out 😀

    Hey sis ! Do you find that using these products still give you great moisture and softness even on wash day ? Basically on damp hair. I’ve been having the hardest time finding products that keep my hair soft for days like I can’t even wear my hair out cause it dries up so quick 😣

      I close my stubborn cuticles with vinegar and water, aloe Vera isn’t a low enough ph for me. Then I do a leave in, oil or butter, and finally silicone. My hair is naturally very high porosity.

    Hi. I have done the floating test. when I put my hair into the water it floats. but if I push it down one time it stays under the water. My hair is really dry and frizzy, I also face a lot of tangles after washing my hair. I have fine and wavy hair. My hair gets wet fast ( if I use my hands it took 7-10 seconds to get wet in the shower). it also dries very fast. I mean after washing my hair it dries within 2 and a half hours. what type of porosity I have? please help me.

      It sounds like it’s high porosity. The strand test isn’t always accurate because hair will float due to surface tension. It’s more accurate if you very gently push the hair into the water when you place it into the cup. Keep in mind your hair doesn’t always have to be either low or high porosity. It could be medium porosity, you know your hair best. But again, to me it sounds like it’s high porosity! Hope that helps.

    I already have the Cantu leave in conditioner but because I came across your video, I brought the Avocado oil. My 2 questions are, how often do you wash your hair & can the products be used for low porosity hair also

    I have an important question, do they still sell Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner? I can't find it anywhere. It has it listed on the Walmart website, but they sent me a different product instead, though it's listed as Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner. They sent me Raw Shea Butter Raw Shea Butter Deep Moisturizing Conditioner instead. Can you give me a link where they still sell it, or give me some other all natural Shea moisture products I could use?

    • @SimplySubrena
      @SimplySubrena  2 роки тому

      You have high porosity so you definitely want to start sealing in your moisture. Maybe do a oil rinse after deep conditioning
