- Drag Race Philippines Season 2 Episode 5 Reaction! The fifth episode of DRPH S2 IT OUT and we reacted to it!! The episode started with another fun game for the mini challenge! They brought out the pit crew so we were happy about that! Then the queens were told they were going to be putting on a rusical musical inspired by the little Mermaid. We loved this musical!! It was written and performed so well! It was so good! The runway was supposed to be inspired by shoes. The looks were ok. The winner of the 5th episode was Deedee Marié Holliday . We were not expecting that based on the runway. The bottom 2 queens were Matilduh and M1ss Jade So! This was a slow lip sync that told a story. Miss Jade did so good!!! She was saved and Matilduh was eliminated... We then reacted to the 5th episode of untucked! What did you think of the Rusical??! For me this was the best episode of the entire series. The emotional lip-sync/exit and the fall at the end was the cherry on top.
Just a context on It's Shoetime and Feet Bulaga, these are wordplays on two rival noontime variety shows in the Philippines. "It's Showtime" where Anne Curtis is one of the hosts and "Eat Bulaga" where Mama Pao is one of the hosts.
The way Katkat fell twice this episode 😂 i’m glad she’s okay. I heard she almost couldn’t continue because her head hit the ground pretty hard during the Mini Challenge 😂

Hana Beshie's Runway is a nod to the mythical movie monster "Undin". Undin is an iconic film character way back in the 90s that melts people by her saliva through their toilet and can only be seen popping its head from the toilet bowl.
I could literally watch you both all day. And yes I feel like matilduh's rusical and runway should keep her on the show. Obviously they based it off of the rusical performance and both m1ss jade and her were the weakest. Still love her tho!!! Our mini challenge slayer!!!!

basically this is kinda a better win lineup, its who did best not who can stay longer it keeps the tension more rising on who will be the last standing queens to the finale, the only win i disagree was ep3, It should have been Hana for me
for Matilduh, she was already in grasp of bttm2 the moment she said to Mama pao that she wants to be safe for this week and also she has been like the side character contestant compared to the others who are really going big to showcase more of what they can do, which gaved Matilduh the sashay card right away
The only person who can sent her home for now was Miss Jade, but overall if the win lineup was based on who can stay longer, the lineup would be Arizona - Bernie - Hana/Jade - Katkat - Katkat/OV/Bernie
The lip-sync song translates to I Want to Let Go which was originally sung by Sherine Regis and it's been revealed recently that the song was about her awakening as a lesbian woman.

Also, I'm okay with Matilduh being in the bottom. She's mainly there because of technicality. She didn't do bad, it's just everyone else did better than her. Putting anyone else in her placement wouldn't really feel right
I agree! I gagged at Bernie’s outfit and THE SHOEEES. Her look was one where you could tell the category was SHOES, cause they were the highlight 👠 🌸
I think the closest person that should've been in the bottom is Arizona. Her parts in the rusical wasn't memorable maybe because it is not a major part. And in her runway, the shoes weren't really the highlight. But, I wouldn't want to see a Miss Jade vs Arizona lipsync

I disagree with Jiggly when she said Matilduh didn't give any "Catriona-isms". She's blind 😆 They all did well in the Rusical. Bernie is kinda small so her movements aren't captured well on cam but I agree w/ the judges that she showed that brightness in her. If it was me, none of them should go home for this Rusical but it's still a competition and one has to go.

Honestly, these critiques this season are out of this world. Like the maxi winners are never the ones who deserve it. Like have they watched a season of drag race? They go with costumey outfits this year as opposed to fashion and im so disappointed with the judges’ decisions week by week
I miss Veruschka. This episode was a nice cute episode but lacks the drama Veruschka brings! Im here for the pot stirring villain and without her there is little chaos in the Untucked.

I think that nobody deserved to go home this week. Because it was a very great rudemption of everybody from last week's Snatch Game. It should have just been a lip sync for the win between DeeDee and Katkat/Bernie.
45:01 I love Matilduh but yes I do agree with the judges. Like what she said, she played it too safe that caused her to be eliminated. She was afraid to take risks unlike what the others did. At this point the judges are nitpicking. They are keeping girls who have more potential and more to offer for the next episodes which includes Acting. We all know how Matilduh did during Snatch Game, she was the worst.
Matulduh shoulld have lasted longer. ❤
I don't think the shoes needed to be cute I think they just needed to be the focus of the runway and stand out. Bernie had the best runway when it comes to the category.

I think Jade said she felt betrayed by OV because during the auditions for the flounder role, OV picked Bernie instead of her, her supposed friend.

She's a Tinderella. Someone that sells fake designer items. Hence the Niek, instead of Nike (with Niek sounding like nyek, a word attributed to wrong things). Her and Hana's were some of the most brilliant Filipino outfits in this category, the others were basic or didn't even match the brief like Jade.
