With all the bizarre things Twyla has been doing in this series (trying to eat the All Blossom, almost drinking from the River of Death, telling the worst possible lies, falling off magic carpets etc.), it makes it even funnier that *she* is the sole survivor of the Fey. How the hell did she survive that battle in the first place?! She can barely survive an episode

I am kindly leaving a comment here to let Dropout know that this crossover was the BEST choice ever. Being new to D&D and learning in real time with the queens was such a lovely way to be introduced to the game. The limited episode run was also an amazing length for a new watcher. As a RPDR fan, this was the first time I watched a DnD campaing. Brennan was so patient explaining everything that I could've probably played myself right after
This is exactly what my girlfriend and I needed. I’m a massive dnd nerd who stans hard for dimension 20, and my girl is a RuPaul’s drag race superfan. I’ve been trying to get her into dnd and this is the gateway I’ve been looking for!
This group is legendary. Dnd isnt about the game, its about the characters. And these queens are exceptional character actors (even if they are just playing themselves) love it. Props to brennan as always for being a lovely goodball
As a lover of many drag queens, a massive D&D nerd, *and* somebody who is obsessed with fantasy settings- this was absolutely incredibly and I need more content like this in my life. Also- Alvin the Chipmunk soldier saying “let’s get naked and see what happens” followed by “oh shit, the war!” made me lose my mind
Then I recomend you the podcast Dungeons & Drag Queens, that was (or still is, not sure) a live event in Seattle, but can also listen to as a podcast, where is not only played by drag queens, but I think is played AS drag queens like in the characters I haven't finished it, but it is pretty good
I love how Brennan was fully expecting them to buy the wraith claps from Bump and maybe try to flirt to negotiate a lower price, all bypassed by one giant green fist.
Holy crap Brennan, spinning that off-handed Mark Ronson joke into actual world-consistent lore was masterful. Music producer Mark Ronson has, what he imagined was, the wildest Sunday banger it's possible to have. Tripping into a mystical portal, and getting isekaied to a world where that's a pretty typical event. You're freestyling some Terry Pratchet Discworld or Stephen King Dark Tower shit for these adventurers, and it's a treat to watch.
In retrospect, I dunno that 'pulled into an arcane portal to another world where you are lost, scared, and promptly murdered and stuffed into a closet' would properly be described as an 'isekai' experience
As someone who never played tabletop RPG, never watched anything about it, and came to this video because of the drag queens I am completely amazed by this experience and how amazing Brennan is at creating stories and working around what they are saying. Incredible.
so happy to have a new community of fans joining us😊 lots of dnd nerds are now getting introduced to these incredible queens and having the same amazed reaction, so it’s a win-win!
Brennan is in the pantheon of live-play DMs. Also included are Aabria Iyengar, Chris Perkins, Jeremy Crawford, and Matt Mercer, among others. Each one has a different style and story they like to tell, but all of them are phenomenal. Welcome to the party.
I love the dead seriousness with which Jujubee asked for those five gallons of water like it 100% felt like she was threatening Kashra (and succeeding).
@yuililith if you like this one you have to watch a fey of court and flowers (its like Bridgeton but COMEDY), Starstrucks(Sci fi but in space), misfits of magic (harry potter but American and wholesome lolol) etc this DM is in all of these and he rocks!❤

Both Jujubee and Twyla are so chaotic. I love the energy. Also, you can tell that the "that was really emotional and beautiful" was completely genuine because Brennan did his magic and touched something within her. You can only be genuine when that happens.
These are four of the most likeable drag queens from the show. Like, these are probably some of the most successful drag queens ever in the world right now.
I feel exactly the same way as someone who is into drag but completely foreign to DnD. This is so much fun and I’m glad we can bring our communities together in a respectful and collaborative way ❤
I forgot that this was the very first episode of actual play DnD that I ever watched! And my first Dropout video! Now 6 months later and I've watched half of all Dimension 20 and most Dropout shows -- all because of this crossover with my first love, RPDR. ❤️
So, Bob must've definitely roleplayed before cause he's incredibly comfortable in it. Plus kudos to Juju for starting completely confused and ending up owning her storytelling abilities ❤️
I think Bob said they watched a few sessions beforehand, but other than that she's completely new! Drag is living in a persona, and being able to turn it on quickly, and improvise, which isn't unlike roleplaying, so that's probably why they're all so comfortable in it 😁
Twilah the entire time is a riot. Drinking deadly ocean blood water, exposing her status as alive, inviting 400 people to board game night, turning into a puddle of water LOL...
Oh my god... 1. I have never been so happy to have dropout account. It's seriously saving my mental health having something I can go on to laugh. 2. Brennan looks ETHEREAL. I love how each of them has a very specific RP domain where they're incredibly efficient
Monét: Maintains the mission that keeps the plot on track
Bob: Secondary GM filling 60% of the flavor in the narration
Alaska: Pieces together the plot with only two clues
Jujubee: Actually follows through on an insane whim so brilliant it's instantly made canon
Very much their personalities and they've known each other for years. It's so great watching them.

Brennan is a really skilled DM and also a great storyteller. I came in a fan of the queens, but I am leaving a fan of Brennan.
Girl, yes! Same! I knew the queens would slay, but I didn’t know anything about Brennan ― he FULLY delivered 🙌🏽 I was LIVING for his theatrics and the different voices 😂 sooooo good.
welcome to the Goose Egg Gang!! this gorgeous, passionate, storyteller has well earned his reputation as an anti-capitalist, an advocate, and one of the most creative minds of my generation...
Right?? His name sounded familiar to me but I’ve never seen any content with him before, he was sickening in this!!
Me too!
Came into comments to say the same thing. I started video to play in background, and watched the whole thing cause of Brennan. He's so good.
This is the first dnd campaign i’ve ever seen, but i can just tell this was fucking incredible and special. That dungeon master has a gift! Loved the way he weaved all their jokes into the story seamlessly and answered their questions while keeping the pace. The queens where hilarious and their different energies where so fun. Alaska was paying attention honey and Bob was into it!
Brennan is widely agreed to be one of the best DM’s in the community, this is so exciting to see so many drag race fans enjoying really really high Caliber dnd for their first time!

And don’t forget our talented and engaging and creative dungeon master. He works with what thrown at him so well. Loved this. Never thought I’d sit through two hours and now I’m gagging for the next, and imagining another team with say Trixie, Jinkx, Katya & Ru Paul!
They really added a new level of humor, confusion, and intrigue in the game of DND. It was fun watching them learn. I wish the full series was free. I want to see the rest of this story but I can't pay for it lol

With all the bizarre things Twyla has been doing in this series (trying to eat the All Blossom, almost drinking from the River of Death, telling the worst possible lies, falling off magic carpets etc.), it makes it even funnier that *she* is the sole survivor of the Fey.
@@BasalateIsekai means "other world", so it fits pretty well imo
