- The Xiphactinus is not only a funny name for a fish but its also a new addition to ARK Survival Ascended this month. It's part of the ARK Additions Integration that was announced two weeks ago. Together with the Ceratosaurus it will be part of ARK Survival Ascended Maingame soon.

I hope they keep adding new stuff because after SE launching, it felt like my tribe and much of our server burnt out way faster than normal. Im keeping my fingers crossed that the new canonical map brings new elements into the game like dynamic events, improved fishing, rare spawns similar to the unicorn etc. Something that is enough to make it feel refreshing. Our island server that had many tribes of dedicated breeders have all stopped and its depressing =(

Are all of garuga's additions being added?

Can anyone give me some advice with mods please, before I knew how to activate mods I loaded into single player and instantly found the cera and that big bird with its nest, I then found out how to get mods activated and downloaded the same mods (cera big bird and many more…) then activated them, when I got into the game with mods activated I could find certain new dinos in the game but haven’t seen any ceras or big birds and it was the exact same location.
Does anyone know if I can’t have the mods activated if the creature already spawns (e.g does the mod cancel out the spawn????)
I honestly think whats happening is great (from my point of view, i dont know the fine print) the idea that Garuga has been making top tier design and content for the game that its being officially recognized and added into the base game is a huge respect to him (again, i dont know the little details that could prove me wrong 😅), personally excited to see these guys, as well as the rest of the crew, integrated into base game 😁
I downloaded ark save server
I tried to open it as single player server and also non dedicated and both failed it takes hours and hours and doesn't open only loading page
My ark profile size is 1kb like most of ark profiles some of it is 24 kb and some 40kb is that mean my ark profile data is corrupted
I don't know where is the problem?
Adding modded content is free for WC. Well, maybe not 'free', but drastically cheaper than WC paying a full-time developer to make the content.
WC is certainly ripping off the modding community by implementing 'adjusted' free mod content that's already been developed. They just scoop it up at a drastically discounted price sothey can make more money off of us. The 'savings' are certainly not passed on to the customer.

They signed a licensing agreement with Garuga to use his mods, but he still owns the mods and Wildcard is running all adjustments by him. Not sure how they are ripping anyone off when they are paying him an amount he agreed to. And Garuga talked about how it's better for him to license and continue just being a modder than to get hired by WC and be a dev. And how will WC be making money off of us with this addition? It's free for us. Maybe the game will sell more, idk, but that's a good thing. This is a win-win
