As an Ana player, aren’t you terrified of how much your gonna be flanked by this hero? With anas low mobility and survivability? I main Ana & Zen and it’s already impossible to survive against her when she singles you out. Once again Blizzard doing everything in their power to make people not want to play support.
I have not yet played her, but in the ability demonstrations, that is her ultimate, it copies one of the enemies for a short period of time, if you want Ana, they have to have an Ana

She's absolutely not a better version of Pharah.
-She can't stay in the air as long.
-Her vertical mobility is much weaker.
-Her hitbox is _massive._
-Her mid-long range damage is terrible.
-She can't take advantage of environmental hazards (unless she becomes a hero that can).
@@ABonafideSkeleton I disagree but only because when it comes to characters that can fly they end up being my best picks. Her flight is the same as dva who has one of the best flights in the game. While pharah can stay airborne you don't need it to be the terror in the sky. It's pure mobility without obstacle. Like the trailer demonstrated you use it to move, dive, engage, flank, too many people are treating this like iPharah but she's so much more. The gliding down to shoot is a fine thing for backline picks but you really want to swoop like dva does and get out as fast as possible.

The Cooldog / I think the only way pharah can become viable again after Echo’s release is if she got an additional 50 armor to her 200 hp (250 health total) to make up for her lack of survivability and not being able to be as consistent with her damage as Echo.

@@3takoyakis they've been working on it for quite a while. In interviews Jeff mentioned that the idea of overwatch 2 and some concepts were being worked on even before overwatch launched. The actual shift of development happened "when the event content startet slowing down", which was almost 2 years before Blizzcon 2019

They said she's damage because if she was a support when she ults you would pretty much just lose a healer.

That’s just the risk rewards system that comes with ultimates, unless your Doomfist. Plus it last for 15 seconds, and as long as you don’t use it when with an ultimateless Zenyatta or Lucio you’re not objectively hurting your team, it’s just up to who out plays who at that point. Also she could always be used to copy an enemy healer for a lot of reasons, from ultimate to abilities to damage type.
SaltyPotato I was joking about DPS cue times for a flex player like myself, I rarely get to play DPS. I’ll likely get to play her in Mystery heroes before QP or comp.

Thanks for the 27 minute long Quick Play DPS queue time. My friend queued up with me as a tank and it was almost 30 minutes. Unbearable queue times, but Echo is very fun to play.
