Thank you, Caddy girl. My dad owned Cadillacs from 1965-1985, or even to 1990. Several DeVille converts, his 1965 was blue in & out, beautiful car, and 4:06 was his 1st new one. Keep up the great work you’re doing.
Thank you for the video. I like the 1955 Cadillac almost as much as I like the 1956 Cadillac, which is my favorite. I would also prefer 4 doors so that my friends can get in & out more easier as I am 75 almost 76 and my friends are in the same age bracket. But I do like the dagmars in the front and the taillights in the rear of the '55 & the '56. A very nice looking Automobile. Hope you enjoy it.
remarkable and amazing story that it stayed within the family all these years.I can’t get over how pristine it looks and all original what find, good on you😊
This is one iconic Cadillac Sarah. Great styling. Excellent find. This car has absolutely zero rust. The interior is fantastic for being seventy years old. Your so fortunate to live in such a great climate. Everything here in the East just rusts. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend.
There's a '55 4-door Series 62 in our family that my grandfather bought in 1960 second-hand. Light blue with a white top, blue interior. Has a period trailer hitch on it, as it towed my grandparents travel trailer. Also has the Sentinal headlight feature for automatically lowering the high beams. Always been stored in a barn or garage. All original except for the engine, which was replaced after the original threw a rod through the block when moving it from Idaho to Washington. Was my dad's after my grandfather passed away, then he gave it to my brother. My brother passed away from cancer, so now it is owned by my 14-year old niece. Stored at my uncle's place until she is ready to let go of it, but it has a lot of sentimental value for her, so that may be a while. Currently needs a carburetor rebuild, last I heard. Pretty cool car!
These are wonderful cars, and I'm so glad you have this one! In the 70's I bought a 1955 Coupe de Ville for $250 and drove it everywhere! I later bought a 1956 Series 62 coupe (with working A/C) for $700! They were dependable, rust-free cars here in Florida. Those were fun times! Enjoyed your video! Thanks!
Oh my goodness. A true survivor for sure and I'm glad you are the next caretaker of a real gem. It's so good to see all the chrome is there. I'm fighting that issue on my 68. Chrome or stainless trim pieces are so expensive now.
GM's Magic Mirror acrylic lacquer was very good paint, I'm not surprised that it came back so well. Good Luck!
I love your Cads.
Thank you!!
Great find!!! Congratulation
Beautiful Cadillac and the accompanying music was perfect. Good luck with the car, and good job cleaning it up. A rare find in one family that long.
Thank you very much!

I would take that Cadillac over anything else on that transport anytime. My friends had their Camaros, me, it's Cadillac.
Me too!!

Wow what a time capsule. They are only original once. Very nice Caddy, thanks!
Thank you for watching!!!
Love it. I like cadillacs and the '59 was great, but the '55 was so cool. The headlights looked like eyes and had some great dagmars!!! 😉😉😉

Remarkable original condition. Red wheels? I do hope that you reinstalled the hood ornament. What are the holes on the top of the fenders for?
They were for aftermarket mirrors…. I could cringe looking at the holes 🙄 and yes in 55 rims were red
Thank you for the information. Surely there is some way to discreetly fill the holes. @@CaddyGirlGarage
Hi BEAUTIFUL, good 1 U pulling the BLAZER (up) the drive way please PLEASE BABY B SAFE 🙏🏽🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷🐺🌕
Just think jailhouse rock played through the radio
Does it have it skirts?
Yes they were in the video
Beauty. How many miles?
No pics under the hood?
50,000 ish original mileage
So if I may be so bold to ask. What did you give for this little beast
The family definitely didn’t do their research… unfortunately.. I paid $4500 for the car.
Is the engine shy?
I’m sorry I didn’t include any engine shots on this one!
That is a bad looker.
What did he use to polish the lights?
It’s a product called Flitz most amazing stuff I’ve ever used
One big problem where do you find leaded fuel for it? Corn whiskey blend no lead will kill the rubber, carb, fuel tank on it,
I use 91 octane. It does good. It won’t hurt it
@@CaddyGirlGarage GET REAL
Yes get real no old car made for leaded GAS will run on Corn Wiskey no lead not 91 octanne FOOL!!!
