Hook it up to a 12 volt batt so it can spin ,and run .Then when it runs ,change back to your 6 volt batt, but get it spinning faster first with the 12 volt. It'll work believe me .

you can crank it with twelve volts,,,did that many many times,,,,use jumper cables and dont leave hooked up except to crank or any longer than needed
