I'm a new subscriber from Australia 🇦🇺... love these old classic Cadillac hearses of that era. Maybe you could try find some of the missing funeral items like the coffin retractable trolley. Best of luck with the hearse... take care..😊😊❤
I love the room in hearses! It's to die for! No, seriously..they would make a great work vehicle for skilled tradesmen. Ladder carrier on top, pullout floor with tool storage. A little grim but, a great work truck.
I myself am in the process of getting my 1977 Chrysler Town & Country hearse roadworthy. My late friend bought it back in 2013 and just let it set. His daughter gave me the car for helping her with his estate after his passing. I have never seen a Chrysler hearse let alone one with a factory moon roof or sun roof. I hope take it to my first hearse rally in Michigan or maybe the Mopar Nationals. I have several vintage campers & cars but need something different, I figure this hearse will get me out of same old car and vintage camper rut I have been in for at least 45 years. The last hearse rally I went to was in Hell Michigan and thay had at least 80 hearses there. I really in joyed it. Enjoyed your video, sorry I talked to much, kinda excited about my new project.
First time seeing your channel. Value the time you get to work with your Dad young lady. I sure miss my Dad and I working on the old cars. Nice bones in the Caddy to work with. Kerry
You not only you got lots of parts, you also got lots of treasures and a rust free car alone is a treasure. Where would I be able to find something that nice?
@@CaddyGirlGarage it’s something that I’m not doing right this moment, but I love the models from the 50’s. My dream car it’s always been a 59 model whether a two or four door, I know those are hard to get and they’re out of reach in price as well. I’ve been a big of the hearse bodies too. Thanks for doing what you do, it’s great that these vehicles get a second chance at life.
That cleaned up pretty nice! The headliner and other parts of the rear interior looked like nice original condition. Is that a Miller-Meteor hearse? It looks interesting with just the rear door windows but the rest solid towards the rear of the car. I know that there was another company producing hearse bodies, but can’t remember the name of the company
I love old hearses and ambulances and this is a beautiful example. I seen the facebook listing for it and am kinda sad to see you sell it but I must also ask why the shade against Ecto 1 builds in the listing?
@@CaddyGirlGarage Fair point, I honestly kinda agree, I really wish people who do would at least do something with the 60 parts, like use them to build a car or sell them, and not just discard them
@@CaddyGirlGarage and when people build Ecto 1s out of 60s I feel they should just leave them 60s because when budget building a movie car like that 59s are cool but 60s are nearly identical and when it comes to this they’re close enough. I hate when people say “this is a budget build” then put 50k into it and completely ruin the original plan/project
The difference between his and this one is that she could ,once restored, hire it out to funeral business to be used again What car nut wouldn't want their last ride to be in a '60 Caddie hearse !!!!!!
@@allenscarsandstuff As good as these look in black, given how nice the interior is this one really deserves to go back to the original colour, not out of any deference to originality, more for the impact it would make. Hearses in colour can be really amazing things.
Beautiful, grandma used to live down the street from a dealer of old caddy ambulances and hearse. Love em since I was a kid. Beautiful ❤❤
That’s awesome and welcome to my channel
Beautiful caddy!! Always wanted one of these. Really nice to find one in such good overall condition. Hope your restoration goes well.
Thank you! And thank you for watching!!
its heart warming to to see a daughter and father working on old cars together .
Thank you ♥️
Nice Hearse hope you can get it back on the road, Good Luck !

My dad is an electrician by trade and his daily used to be a hearse! 😉

Honestly… they are getting harder and harder to find… what year would you be looking for?

@miguelpagansr6128 59 is my absolute favorite year as well! Thank you for watching! It’s people like you that make it worthwhile to do the videos!
Wonderful Hearse. It cleaned up nice. I'd like to cast my vote for the og color Persian Sand. It matches the interior perfectly.
Persian Sand would be a beautiful color on a hearse! 1960 is my favorite year of Cadillac.
That's cleaning up real nice!
Thank you for watching!!!
Magic Bus... The Who..
Very nice 60 Caddy...
Very cool, if it were mine I'd wait it a.nice Jade color.
Mr. B. Here ! 👀😎👍. That is a lot of vehicle ! Very cool 😎👍😎👍
Thank you 🙏🏻
Love the content, maybe add music (low volume) to the timelapse sequences? But subscribed and anticipating more great content
There’s TONS of Cadillac related songs I would LOVE to use but I always get flagged for “copyright” 😞
Now this would make a sick custom camper. ❤
I met a old man in Michigan who bought an old hearse to haul his fishing boat and buddies.

It is a miller meteor.
Eureka was another company and also
Superior.
@@CaddyGirlGarage That’s right. Eureka and Superior. I used to look for these on EBay years ago when I worked nights!

Because I get tired of people turning 1960’s into 1959’s ecto cars! If you want a 59 buy a 59

This is pretty cool. The Old Iron Workshop is doing a 1950 Cadillac hearse on his channel that I've been watching. You should check it out

What color will you paint it ???
The car is originally Persian sand which is very rare but we plan to make it black.

You should stick with the original color since it's rare and it's a great color!
Probably 90% of all hearses are black.
