    I will never make a corner cabinet in what is left of the rest of my life, but I watched every bit of your instruction. Now, the floor lazy Susan cabinet I had, had a double hinged door, so that it was square where you stood. Great video👍🏻💜

    I have previously worked for a custom cabinet shop, and this was one of the few things I never got taught in detail. Glad to have a well instructed video. In comment, the way we held our face frames on were but pocket holes on the outsides of the cabinets that would be covered by another cabinet or finish panel. Made finish process much easier but painting the face before assembling the cabinet box

    Very nice work! Your technique follows very much what I do for laying things out full-size. I totally agree there is no substitute for doing that because you get, as you said, the exact measurements and can really see the details of what works and how things fit together. I do recommend though that when you’re laying out the cabinet, that you erase the extraneous pencil lines particularly in the corners of the faceframe of the cabinet to be able to really see how the wood pieces are shaped and how the joinery works. That was a lesson I learned the hard way!

    Thank you Wes do you mind giving the size of your rails? Do you make the top rail so when connected it equals the width of bottom rail?

    After you cut the top and bottom the two sides you cut to the hight but has a 45 degree angle on the front facing the side to where the side cabinets will be joined the face frame has to do the same way with the 45 degree angle facing the same direction?

    Hi Wes, nice video. I have a couple questions: 1- why is there only one piece of backing instead of 2, and
    2- it looks like you're using particle board with nails to hold the sides to the base. Do you find particle board will hold weight over time without disintegrating, especially where the nails are? Thanks

      Connie..only 1 of the 2 backs was installed before the paint shop, allowing access to the inside of the cabinet during the painting process. The second back was installed after the finish. Particle board in our low humidity area is excellent for cabinet construction with no issues. Hope this helps. Wes

    What is your best finish against kitchen food stains like ketchup?

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  2 роки тому

      I Honestly do not know what would be best against a ketchup stain. I suggest researching that through your local paint supplier.
      Thanks for watching. Wes
