Very nice video! In constructing a GFP reporter gene, does placing the GFP gene near the promoter of our goi has effect on gene expression? You mean in between the promoter and goi we can place the gfp gene.

What's different between gfp and luciferase as reporter gens
Gfp is fluorescence based reporter and Luciferase is a bioluminescence based reporter.
