- UV Resin Water Effects + simple materials= Miniature Magic...
I'm beguiled by the dream of an ancient garden...in miniature.
I can almost smell the perfume of antique roses, and hear the gentle splashing of fountains.
This project is the first in a series of Miniature Garden Accessories that I'll be attempting to create.
I hope you'll join me for this charming excursion...

Heather, had not watched the entire video when I wrote the first comment. I am getting to the point that I cannot say which is my favorite. This one is now going to the top for now, as I know you will be creating more!!! I can see where this piece is going to go, somewhere is the Gothic Funeral Series. I believe you mentioned storing one of your pieces in a *fish tank*!! At the rate I am going I will need a *swimming pool*. LOL
You and me BOTH, girl! We need WAREHOUSES for our creations, Lois! I am seriously pleased that you like this one. Thank you. xoxo
so realistic, beautiful artwork! 👏
Oh, how kind you are! Thank you! xoxo
WOW!!! oops, sorry, Yes, I did backslide for a second.... I mean, I'm trying to expand my descriptive vocabulary but, sometimes I regress.... The magic you create with such simple supplies is beyond Amazing, and seems to leave me stuttering and stammering and searching for words to express the feelings your artwork evokes... I want to walk through your garden and smell the sweet aroma of the roses as they spill over the wall and sit for a little while and listen to the sounds of the water as it spills from the fountain and splashes in the pool of water at it's base, and let it's sweet music soothe the soul in the way the sound of running water does..... I close my eyes and let the peace of this place fill my being.... xoxoxo
The sweet scent of roses...the soft splashing of soothing waters...ahhh...YES. Peace, my darling. xoxo
Magnifique 😍
Merci, Sylvie! xoxo
Amazing. Thank you x
I'm in love with the new, cheaper UV resins - they are SO darn useful and easy to use, @Chimp Alien Baby! xoxo

Exquisitry and creativity at its finest! I am particularly impressed with the use of materials/supplies that are not ready-made, store bought items (clear floor wax with acrylic paint?! Who knew?!). That sounds AWESOME, my friend! I totally respect tabletop gaming crafts! xoxo
This is gorgeous! I have an ornate lion's head I molded that would be perfect to use in making a fountain like this. Thank you for your inspiration!

Oh, you already have ALL of the courage and creativity you need to create amazing work, my friend...I BELIEVE in you.
💗
Hi Heather, you are absolutely amazing and I hope you do not mind but I've shared your channel with a group of us "darklings" who enjoy this sort of thing. You are so generous with your talent. Thank you for these amazing ideas and your lovely templates you are my new favorite youtuber and I hope your channel absolutely blows up with followers! All the best, Melanie from Florida!
Hi Melanie - and thank you so much for helping to spread the word: that means the world to me! And Darklings are always welcome in my world 💗⚜💗
Lovely!!! This design should be sold as an actual table fountain.
Your miniatures are so stunning, they'd look great displayed around a large Victorian dollhouse. Have you ever considered creating an entire mansion to scale? I'd imagine it would be a hell of a lot of work and time involved in such a project, though.
Hey Fran! Awww....thank you for your kindness, my friend. Oh, I dream of scratch building an enormous, (1/12 scale) elaborate manor house some day...but, until then, I'll be content with working on dioramas...they satisfy the same yearning for 'imaginal worlds'...xoxo
Outstanding work, Heather, thanks for sharing. My introduction to the world of miniatures was a polymer clay Mediterranean garden scene tutorial by Akameru Kawaii. While it was not quite my style, it was the catalyst that made me really see miniatures & think about how I would tackle the theme myself & started me looking for other miniaturists to learn from. Your piece is exactly the style I would use in my old, overgrown, hidden 'Secret Patio Garden' scene with broken tiles/pavers, it's surrounded by a tall wall where the render is cracked & coming away from the exposed bricks. It would be full of cracked overgrown pots, toppled urns & beautiful antiquities like an Astronomers sundial & weathered classical statues. It gives me that 'smiley on the inside' feeling, just thinking about it. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Oh, Joanne...this vision of your garden has me SWOONING! It is precisely and perfectly the type of place I dream of...xoxo
I figure that for D&D terrain, all I need to do is reduce the size when I print. This will look amazing in my temple courtyard! Thanks!
Sounds awesome, @DM_ Momma - game ON, girl. xoxo
#QueenOfCrafts does it again! 💖
Ha! You crack me up, girl! Huge hugs. xoxo
@@Thicketworks haha! Thank you! And a big ol' tight hug back to you! 😊 💖X💖X
QUEEN OF SOUL AND MIXED MEDIA!!
@@KellyDannemann ooh good one!
Oh Heather I just loved your fountain. It’s beautiful. I was just wondering where you bought your rubber mould from (the long one which you put along the bottom and sides). Also loved your technique for the running water…brilliant. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
Oops sorry just noticed you put a link for the border. Again thank you for the free pattern. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
@@user-lg5vp5cr9q Hey, Robyn! Glad you liked this one - it's so fun to make!😘
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😍😘
💗😍💗
The pieces you create are always so beautiful. I wish I could have them in life size! Do you create dioramas with all of them? Or do you just create the individual pieces without a specific scene or scale in mind?
My intention is always to create a full diorama, Ramo - but I usually get so carried away making TOO many things to stuff into one little scene! I'm gonna have to be more disciplined...😅 But THIS new series? Yep, I'm gonna do my best to create a full, finished dio....BTW - thank you for being so kind! xoxo
Can i get a link for the waves
Get. Out! OMG, this is amazing!! (also, good tips for the airdry clay, thanks! :) )
I never saw these things you're using as weight, they seem very practicall for minimal storage space, what do you call them and are they originally for?
Hee hee! You make me giggle, Meanne77! Those are 1-2-3 blocks, and engineers use 'em. They are SO useful - and milled to be very accurate...they're called that because the dimensions are 1" x 2" x 3" - so they have a zillion uses, measuring is just one of 'em. xoxo
Heather, how is it, that you always know what I need, when I need it? This will work fabulously with my miniature garden. Did you mention the dimensions of the finished piece?
Oh, your miniature garden sounds enchanting, Anastasia! As to the dimensions: I apologize for NOT mentioning them - but here ya go: 6" high by 4" wide, and about 1 3/4 inch from front to back, darlin'! xoxo
Hi i adore your work but i have a question.. Will the moss not lose its color overtime? Just curious. Thanks
Hey, Victoria! Thanks for the kindness, girl. And YEP - it DID fade. I realized this a couple of months after completion and began dry brushing my herbal textures with green craft paint. Live and learn, darlin' - xoxo
i'm planning to do a church diorama, this will fit in nicely
do you have any more suggestions?:)
Have you seen the videos in this series, @玩具冰室? There's an Altar, an Alter Screen, and a whole bunch of other items that might be of use to your project: ua-cam.com/play/PLpNpQZA9BvJLz8yx_Gw9HU_jMcgcsmUuS.html
Good luck with your dio - it sounds awesome! xoxo
