In Holmegard they gathered, every powerful man
There was a Thing to be held, and they wore their best capes
Stately giants sat around the long table
And mead in big bowls for the long night
And the king came into the hall and sat down on broadest bench
And all who were there, they offered him a drink
And it was said of King Harold, he was that kind of guy
All the bowls he emptied, and stood the very next day

In north eastern canada, what we call/called Markland you have/had a mixture of us and the natives we called Skrælings. They fled from Greenland(who also is a mixture), when tings turned bad there, climate and the black death causing the shipping to stop westwards, that and unions happened in 1319. They killed the bishop on Greenland and turned heathen again. Not all though. I do not remember the name of this tribe, they assimilated very fast when the french came. Their religion/rites was a mixture of ásatru, native religion/customs and Christianity. Sadly I do not remember the name of these other than it started with M i think. Not much is known about them. I am so sorry I cannot sauce you. But if Arild Hauge's web pages are still up, he should have some info there. It's an old site from the 90ies. Very good, but don't expect flashy stuff, it's the content that matters.

Now the english words, no rhyming (not that much of a poet):
By the Grey Isle in Western Sea in fog and rain
The sea breaks to the shore with news from olden times
Deep into the land of mist three great ships you see
And forward from wooden helm, nine dragonheads as well
And on the closest ship stands a tall man
King Harold and his kin travels to Holmegard
In his band were Toke, Grim and Verge-Tor
And many famous giants sat onboard by the oars

Thulean Perspective/Varg probably got the heart in the right place but he has some weird and extreme opinions about certain things, in my opinion, which will never appeal to any large group of people. I like The Golden One, there are also many good british nationalists, like Mark Collett and the 'Absolute state of britain' guys. You can find faults with anyone, probably urself too. That doesnt mean one should tolerate cucking etc. of course, but one should be carefull not to purity spiral too much also, because then you'll end up alone. I am not sure it is for fear of national pride. I cannot speak to the schools in Norway, but music education in general really lacks for anything prior to the Baroque period in my experience. Outside of very niche music circles, very few people even realize that 'In Taberna Quando Sumus' should not sound like someone trying to summon satan, but is a happy drinking song. Here it is a training-bias on the part of teachers. Of course, I live in the US, where excess nationalism causes problems.

    • @Vikingskog

You are not racist by saying that, and never belive you are! Islam is a religion not a race and criticising it is not any diffrent from criticising christianity or any other religion or even political ideology. Wanting a indigenous culture and the native people simply to exist and survive in their homeland is not racism, on the contrary, its the exact opposite of racism. Nobody would ever claim it was racism if is was a non-european person sayings this, its only apparantly "racism" when a european want his culture to exist, which, ironically, is in it self racism, everyone else gets these privileges except us. I think all people and cultures should have the right and protection to exist and survive in their native homeland/homeregion, including Europeans.
