I feel like just to make the community happy they should just add the mob losers from the second mob vote up to the last mob vote and they should add the biome losers as well

Also i remember playing the snapshot and hearing a creaking far away but when i turned around it was literally about to hit me, idk about you but thats kinda scary
All this time they were banning java modders from charging for their mods... and now they try to lure them over to bedrock *with money*. This manipulative thing, to lure players to a more controlled (and profitable) version of minecraft, is the opposite of 'improving themselves'. They need to stop this first.
Totally it’s outrageous how much they favor bedrock over the official og Minecraft Java edition. Maybe they want to lure iPad kids with those dumb minecoins
This is what really ticks me off personally. For the vanilla game, I will grateful for any update (barring it doesn’t fundamentally alter the vanilla experience). Imo, Minecraft really should have an end update. The aether coming to vanilla would be great as well. Even if there is no more updates, that is honestly perfectly fine as well. How many games have this much attention put into them at this stage of their life-cycle, remember Minecraft came out in 2011, 13 years ago, and the game is over 15 years old. However, they should leave the java modding community to expand and continue untouched.
They mentioned that in the mob votes that the losers would never be added, there is no point in wanting them to add the past mobs because it won't happen. The biome vote, tho they did say they would all be eventually updated.
Everyone defending mojang acting like they aren't owned by one of the biggest corporations around and are not an indie studio anymore. I get game development is hard but tell me seriously how can an entire team of trained professionals be slower than 1 guy making an entire update's worth of content in a few months?
Yes they maybe slow, But making mods is 4x times easier than code it in a game language. I ever do modding with a json type of files (not jar that was definitely harder, but jar doesn't even come close to game language) If you do modding, you can just copy and modify already existing thing instead of entirely making new mechanic (which also may be buggy) And also they doesn't only focus on 1 version of the game, unlike modder that focus on 1 version (java), Microsoft had to seperate some team to implement all the feature they'll add on bedrock too (also making it work on mobile, which is hard especially the bundle)
honestly, we should really cut them some slack. they interact with their community a ton more than every other company, and they are human too. if minecraft was put into another companies hands it would turn out as an absolute mess of a game that would focus on RPG elements instead of creativity and freedom. Mojang does a lot for us.
In my honest opinion. That still doesn’t excuse the lack of content that they have provided for Minecraft. When the last big update they released was over two/three years ago, the caves and cliffs update, then that is a major issue especially since that also started the trend of “Promising features” and then taking them out of the update and delaying them through hell and back. I.E: Firefly’s, Bundles, etc. (Hence why people call the WILD update the MILD update). Edit: When Notch was developing Minecraft, there were frequent updates, he didn’t really have a team for the game than what modern Minecraft has.
@@pzb1017 I get what you're saying... but about 90% of the people complaining don't know anything about running and constantly updating a game as MASSIVE as Minecraft. I do think they should add more features, but most of the time the community doesn't give them the time to add these things. Also the thing about notch it was weekly updates... yes... but they were like 1 or 2 features and he didn't really have time for anything else.
I think Minecraft Live was pretty good this year. It didn’t introduce any new controversies so hopefully they can put the hype back into the future shows once the hate dies down.
eh. imo its more like a protecting brand thing rather than “forcing political opinion” since minecraft is mostly profitable on kids. from what ive known a lot of parents dont like when theres gun in a game so they are most likely not gonna spend money on it. most action mojang/Microsoft has made that the community doesnt like, are company strategies for making the game more and more profitable.
if they really have the balls they wouldve say something about the current genocides that involves billions/trillion dollars of weapon trade from USA. even in just USA lives has been losing everyday by shootings from either by dumb civilians or cops. banning guns in games is just pretentious and dumb. i doubt average person that plays this game would actually own a real gun
@@weeeeeweeeeweee I own 3. The reason I would say the worst impact of them being so negative to guns is that gun ownership is the only reason citizens have power over the gov’t. Look a England right now where they’re arresting people for what they say on social media, or when the NAZIs banned guns in Germany so their dissenters had to comply with their anti-jew rhetoric. Despite tragities that do occur with gun ownership, tragities with out are much worse. That being too much government control.
I mean last year people made literal protests to stop the mob vote so its obviously not coming back anymore, they did say theyre replacing it with something else
I still feel like if some unnamed UA-camr didn’t abuse his audience (who mostly didn’t even play Minecraft at the time) to vote for the mob no one wanted, we’d still have a mob vote today.
You are wrong about adding mobs. It is NOT easy to add them. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into any one mob. Yes, modders are faster, but they make these mobs for one version. Mojang has to do it for both and further optimize them for everyone; not just a specific group of players. It irritates me when people are so ignorant about how difficult game development really is…
Mojang has detailed their process before and most people don't realize what goes into making anything new fit their design philosophy of the game, let alone work well in two different codebases. And that's before issues arise from the massive playerbase running into problems with whatever obscure scenarios they may encounter and having to fix the bugs in a non-brekaing way.

They have months and snapshots to improve the whole pale garden, but right now ut's just another "pick sapling return home" biome.
The fact that they think they are doing big updates is a joke, they have so many employees and yet cannot keep promises by adding content. After nether update they just got lazy.
Honestly i just want a performance update with some quality of life features, like they get right now the most popular optimisation and vanilla+ mods and integrate them in the game, maybe alongside something else because this update will not sell otherwise (performance don't sell)
I voted for the glowsquid because the idea as it was represented was to give the game more ambience. Which it did. Just not in the way we hoped it did. The Iceologer, ill be honest, is just another hostile mob that doesnt ultimately add a lot to the game. Its just another biome specific mob to fight. The Creaking in turn is much different. You cant even fight the dang thing. You have to go out of your way to find its heart and then destroy it by more often than not, looking away from the damn thing, opening yourself up to a potential death situation. The Iceologer is just a bootleg skeleton or witch. Change my mind xD
The weird thing is that glowsquid is actually an amazing ambiance feature...when it actually glows. Mojang not adding dynamic light because they couldn't figure out an implementation that does not murder FPS is unfortunate.
You got 1.16 wrong. It was never delayed but 1.15 was a update that fixed the problemes and lag that came with 1.13 that actually would have been split into to: - 1.13 The Flatting Update (balancing the game, changing many games at the base level and overhauling the textures which lead to the game because more unstable which is why most mods are still on 1.12) - 1.14: Aquatic Update These two updates were combined so 1.15 was basically cleaning up the mess and in the same time frame we got two updates instead of one per year.
You made a mistake Mojang never delayed the Nether update, updates always released in June every year since 1.13. 1.15 released only a few months after 1.14 since it was only a small update and the nether update still released a year after 1.14 just like normal. So 1.15 was really just an extra update that didnt even need to be made but they still did it anyway.
What I think mojang has don wrong and is STILL doing wrong is just adding features for the sake of having a feature. with the issue being that you probably will never see those features in a regular playthrough how many of you remember that MUD and mud bricks are a thing now? and as a whole that last few updates have had nothing but... trees and different tree colors with a biome they come with that you will probably never see. also I just hate the current sound design. everything sounds like chewing on rubber or creaking leather, even ROCKS. there is no more heavy chucky sounds, it's all squishy and wobbly with this single "rubbing" sound heard in almost EVERY BLOCK!!
I remember playing dungeons when they released the dlc for the jungle and slow for switch and after a couple years I went to play it again just to find a fucking battle pass

literally one person could create the caves and cliffs update with the amount of time given. And that is the biggest update of minecraft history basically. It follows that with hundreds of programmers they should be able to do everything in a month. One person could do the spyglass, one person could do the lightning rod, what ever else. World gen could have a group of people. This is not freaking difficult. They could easily "audit" their finished items to ensure optimization, and get additional help if they have trouble with optimization. This is absolutely unacceptable, and is becoming the norm for ALL game studios, with mojang seeming like the biggest culprit. ITS A BLOCK GAME, PEOPLE WORKING IN THEIR BASEMENT HAVE DONE MORE FOR THIS GAME.
It makes the game feel like updates are incredibly small and also fucks with the modded ecosystem, just keep snapshots for as long as possible so people can also play in test versions and try the update like they have always been doing
It honestly just annoys me that these people are complaining about not being able to add 4 mobs into an update that takes them literal months. where there are these teenage kids out of school making mods that are making Entire new biomes, mobs, Mechanics, loot, and items quicker
Well you have to understand. There is a lot more that goes into these things. A LOT of optimizing and thought behind things. They made the updates more frequent and they still got hate for that. As someone who now knows how much work is put into it, I understand why there are either less features or updates because DAMN... they had to update code from 12 years ago for the caves and cliffs.
Adding a mob is not that easy because every mob must work with everything else, provide new features (that also have to work with the rest), and be liked by the community. The mob vote was a good idea because they added a way to let us decide a BONUS thing in a FREE update in a 15 yo game. People just thought that if Mojang removed the Mob Vote they would add all 3 mobs, but by spamming "stop the mob vote" you just killed almost all the hype for Minecraft Live, and now we will have less content every year because they simply won't add an extra mob
"Not easy" for you. Maybe the code for minecraft is so bad that it's hard for mojang to add content but its not so hard in general because when making a game that is what you signed up for. When you have such a big team with unlimited budget that's not a good excuse and about free updates... i don't wanna get in a tangent about that one cuz if you can't see the critiques for what they are then it's not really easy to explain without writing a long essay
@@dmsys6516 "Not easy" for anyone. The code is bad yes, but expecting them to fix all of the bugs in months is dumb. Become a developer and realize that's its much easier to say something is easy... then to actually do it. YOU CANT MAKE ANYTHING GOOD." and the other half saying "YOU SHOULD OF ADDED MORE NOW ITS TRASH, IM NEVER PLAYING IT AGAIN." Most of the Minecraft community don't appreciate ANYTHING.
hear me out, what if they started to throw out small updates, because they are working on some BIG Update in the background, not telling us til, it will be ready, maybe an end update or something
We had to say sorry about Minecraft Story mode because of the movie trailer, but soon we will have to say sorry to the trailer if Minecraft continues like this
A couple of things: - Minecraft will still be doing big updates, but will also be doing 'drops', which are just smaller updates, but more frequent. - Mob/Biome vote losers will be added eventually, exept for mods in the original Mob Vob (the Phantom won that one). - Haters need to stop putting themselves in an echo chamber. If you are critiquing the game, that's fine, heck, that's WELCOME. However, it very evident that some fans are treating Minecraft like its 3D Terraria or whatever. Whenever there isn't anything progression related, people dismiss it as 'useless', as if there isn't others in this cesspool of a community. Lay off the copium. I expect to be grilled today. 😅
nahh you do not deserve to be grilled. more people need to realize murdering an other-dimensional dragon, and getting max gear is not the main point of the game
Ever heard of chat reporting or the "do not make money from our game" clause in the EULA or the "when we don't like your mod you must take it down" in the section for mods? These are all things that can make players, modders and server operators feel unsafe. In reaction to severe backlash, mojang made a statement in wich they said "While we do appreciate and take seriously the feedback we get, it will not allways influence what we decide is best for the game." I did that out of my head so it may not be accurate, but the message was still just a polite: This is our game and we will do with it whatever we want. The problem with chat reporting and the mods rules is that mojang could just decide to ban someone and ban all mods that allow for the curcumvention of these bans and there would be nothing you are allowed to do to play the game. Maybe in the future they will even extend bans over to single player. 😢
Why are you still saying that "Minecraft is dying" or "Mojang is killing Minecraft"? Its stupid. Minecraft and Mojang was never "dying", they were doing pretty well, the community was fine at the time when the Nether update came out, the game was in a good state and still is. You are just making unnecessary drama to poison this community for likes, subscribers, and views. The amount of times you mention or reference to like and sub throughout the video just proves my point. 2:03: Why "surprisingly"? Game developers need some breaks and just can't release updates due to reasons. 5:03 "Minecraft live simply turned into a very very boring show which not that many people liked, which you can easily tell by the count of the dislikes". The likes on the video have 219k likes while having 95k dislikes. Many people liked it more than not liked the video. Get your facts straight and stop spreading misinformation. 6:50 "it doesn't really make any sense at all because mobs are really easy to add into Minecraft." No, they're not. It takes lots of time to code, test, check for bugs, add features to the mob, add the mob to Bedrock, a different coding engine, etc. If you think I'm wrong, try coding a mod to add a mob into Minecraft and see how well you do. Why did you name Chapter 5 "The Cave & Cliffs Nightmare"? I didn't see anything negative about cave and cliffs in that chapter? All you talked about is positive things.
06:50 Please read Kingbdogz' tweet about why Mojang can't add all three mobs. Summary: Mobs are one of the hardest features to develop. (Apart from entirely new systems, I guess... Those have got to be harder to implement, right?)
Honestly i think its time to give regular Minecraft an end update and then stop. Base game has pretty much had everything that can fit into fhe old Minecraft style added, cause now were just causing bloat. What they should do now is work on a whole different mode, almost a Minecraft 2 of sorts, where Mojang can add mobs with high quality animations, more rpg mechanics, and tons of features that make the game more like terraria without infringement on Minecraft's simplicity. Then the game can go nuts with infinite dimensions or other craziness from the april fools day updates.
I think that minecraft dungeons was a great game the only thing that makes it a failed game is that thay ran out of content to the story which I guess pushed them away from updating it
Biggst problem with Mojang atm is simply, they present something, moders have those things added in less than a week and mojang under microsoft can't manage the same thing in a year... The mob votes were the best example for that. And you hit the nail on the MC Live for this and last year... just a disgrace... last year was bad, this year was worse and them talking like 10 minutes of already showing nothing just to talked about the so called "movie" ... nope, they are not really listening to their base the way things are. Or on the things they do, they don't think about how to improve those, but just stop doing them all together.
first of all, modding is way easier than developing an update. Most of the mojang's team were modders (even the eather mod creator works at mojang) but are updates like mods? No because modding is easier. This year's live was pretty good, yea not much stuff revealed but it was entertaining for sure (especially the villager news part). btw they also looked very sad there for some reason, i think the community was a bit too harsh to them (mostly for no good reason).
@@fldom4610 Modding is easier than devolping an update? you lost me there. I can't see that at all. Explain where you see the difference there. And sure, the villager news was the best part of that hole show.
@@fldom4610 That is no explaination at all... the process of both is basicly the same. If you program you usually write in several moduls to split up a proccess and make debuging easier. So adding a mod to a game is basicly the same as writing a modul for the base game. In both cases you need the skins, models, program the behaviour for all of them and all around those things. I mean just comparing what effort goes into the April Update each year shows what is possible but still we get a MC live like the other day...
@@VorjuMeidear no it's not, mods have usually more bugs than an update. Also they can literally add anything without worrying if players doesn't like it because its a mob. @@suprafluid3661What “Mojang apologist” has to do with that? They just said they’re fine with features and not care about updates
Minecraft dungeons is not a failed game.. You smokin hard man
Gameplay is repeative, no one talk about it now days, not a video, not an advert
Forgotten unless brought up
Would say abandoned not failed tho
The fact that the movie will take lore from both dungeons and the other one (I think it's heroes) is a WILD blunder💀
@Finzyz-Hooves Mojang and double eleven did want to update the game
Adding hardcore made it worse
@@minecraftminifiguresadvent3170 no it didn’t. You don’t have to play hardcore.
we can only believe it once they start adding mobs & biomes from the votes, like they promised :)

Everyone defending mojang acting like they aren't owned by one of the biggest corporations around and are not an indie studio anymore. I get game development is hard but tell me seriously how can an entire team of trained professionals be slower than 1 guy making an entire update's worth of content in a few months?
Yes they maybe slow,
But making mods is 4x times easier than code it in a game language.
I ever do modding with a json type of files (not jar that was definitely harder, but jar doesn't even come close to game language)
If you do modding, you can just copy and modify already existing thing instead of entirely making new mechanic (which also may be buggy)
And also they doesn't only focus on 1 version of the game, unlike modder that focus on 1 version (java),
Microsoft had to seperate some team to implement all the feature they'll add on bedrock too (also making it work on mobile, which is hard especially the bundle)
But everyone hating is hating on Mojang? not Microsoft? Why hate on the company that was bought out. Why not hate on the company that bought them.
honestly, we should really cut them some slack. they interact with their community a ton more than every other company, and they are human too. if minecraft was put into another companies hands it would turn out as an absolute mess of a game that would focus on RPG elements instead of creativity and freedom.
Microsoft is a billion dollar company. No slack is given to them.

@@weeeeeweeeeweee I own 3. The reason I would say the worst impact of them being so negative to guns is that gun ownership is the only reason citizens have power over the gov’t. Despite tragities that do occur with gun ownership, tragities with out are much worse. That being too much government control.

You are wrong about adding mobs. It is NOT easy to add them. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into any one mob. Yes, modders are faster, but they make these mobs for one version. Mojang has to do it for both and further optimize them for everyone; not just a specific group of players. It irritates me when people are so ignorant about how difficult game development really is…
Imagine having 600 professionals in your company and only be able to add 1 mob per year, yeah, nice argument.

It was never delayed but 1.15 was a update that fixed the problemes and lag that came with 1.13 that actually would have been split into to:
- 1.13 The Flatting Update (balancing the game, changing many games at the base level and overhauling the textures which lead to the game because more unstable which is why most mods are still on 1.12)
- 1.14: Aquatic Update
These two updates were combined so 1.15 was basically cleaning up the mess and in the same time frame we got two updates instead of one per year.
1.14 was the village and pillage update. 1.13 was the aquatic update.
8:06 where did that chart come from? I want it.
You made a mistake
Mojang never delayed the Nether update, updates always released in June every year since 1.13. 1.15 released only a few months after 1.14 since it was only a small update and the nether update still released a year after 1.14 just like normal.
So 1.15 was really just an extra update that didnt even need to be made but they still did it anyway.
And E chest full of chillers, and each shoulder is full of bundles which is full of netherite.
What website is that when showing all the Minecraft live shows and their features marked in color? Like at 8:06
What I think mojang has don wrong and is STILL doing wrong is just adding features for the sake of having a feature. with the issue being that you probably will never see those features in a regular playthrough
how many of you remember that MUD and mud bricks are a thing now? and as a whole that last few updates have had nothing but... trees and different tree colors with a biome they come with that you will probably never see.
also I just hate the current sound design. everything sounds like chewing on rubber or creaking leather, even ROCKS. there is no more heavy chucky sounds, it's all squishy and wobbly with this single "rubbing" sound heard in almost EVERY BLOCK!!

literally one person could create the caves and cliffs update with the amount of time given.
I think it's okay if they rather delay updates than just keep spouting small features bc every year needs an update
The cart ride snapshot was like the only good update
You could make a mod for Minecraft that adds Minecraft to Minecraft in less time with the fraction of the money mojang gets.

A couple of things:
- Minecraft will still be doing big updates, but will also be doing 'drops', which are just smaller updates, but more frequent.
Still waiting for the combat revamp snapshots to be added btw
Why are you still saying that "Minecraft is dying" or "Mojang is killing Minecraft"? Its stupid. Minecraft and Mojang was never "dying", they were doing pretty well, the community was fine at the time when the Nether update came out, the game was in a good state and still is.
