In the Peta ad, tbh, I felt like the two guys really represented Peta taking cheese away from people, not farmers taking it from cows.
I thought they did represent that until I saw this comment 😭
Don't cows have to be milked or they die? If that's true, why waste the milk? And of course, I hope they are treated well.
Cows only make milk after they give birth (like all mammals) so if the milk is given to us it is taken away from the calf. It is showing that calves are separated from their mothers so that we can have dairy products.
@@TaraTara-ld2xbthey won't die, but they will be extremely uncomfortable. However, cows have to be impregnated every year to produce milk.

Excess milk? No species on the planet produces excess milk. Also, no species drinks milk past weaning. This is why humans consuming cow secretions leads to heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Babies are taken away from their mothers, usually within 48 hours of birth. Males are put in veal crates, which are boxes just a few inches larger than their bodies so they cannot move because weak, unused muscles make meat more tender according to the industry. The female babies are raised on formula until they are old enough to be inseminated forcibly and stuck in a milking rack. The female will then be continuously milked until they literally collapse in their pens from depletion because no species can create milk non-stop for years on end. When they collapse they get sent to slaughter, usually around 6 years old, which is about 1/3 their natural lifespan.
So no, we do not eat the “excess” as if such a thing could ever exist and we eat the babies and the used-to-death cows, not ones that can’t get pregnant.
If you are going to consume the cancer-causing secretions of another species at least speak the truth about what you consume.

I don't drink, but I much prefer the old Budweiser commercials from the 70's, with the Clydesdale horses. Back in those days, commercials weren't trying to shove an agenda in your face. They were just trying to sell products. I wish it could be that way now. Today's TV commercials are crap!

The Bud Light ads I always liked were the "Real Men of Genius" commercials. Those were usually pretty funny & the fact that Pete Stacker was the narrator was a nice touch since I'm also a big fan of HALO & I like the characters he played, Captain Jacob Keyes & Sgt. Marcus Stacker.
