Also, notice how respectful Charlie and Micheal are when the idiots are speaking, and then when it's their turn to listen, they literally yell over those 2 gentlemen, just because they are making a good point and they don't want people to hear it.
I hate the "if you are pro-life, how can you support the death penalty" argument. It is absolutely asinine as these are 2 completely separate issues. There is an immense difference between a gestating child in utero and a person convicted of committing a heinous crime. The death penalty is a punitive action which follows due process and the proper adjudication of a criminal trial. This is in no way comparable to the wanton execution of a developing child. Liberals and leftists make themselves look like complete idiots whenever they make this "gotcha" attempt.
+Dennis Bloodsworth Pregnancy defines the act of what? - The development of a child during gestation. Abortion defines the act of terminating or ending the development of a child during gestation. If abortion is not the execution of anything, then how do you explain the outcome of avoiding an abortive operation? What is an "unnecessary pregnancy"? And, on what basis do you determine that a pregnancy is "unnecessary"?
@@zion653 Pregnancy isn't necessarily an act. Its a process. Aborting the pregnancy isn't tantamount to murder. Why? Because there's tens of thousands of people who were once aborted. Guess what? They still exist. Are you going to sit there and tell me they were murdered? Would you really have me believe that? On what basis did I determine it was unnecessary? Easy. The woman in question does not want to take the pregnancy to term. She realizes that she is not at a stage in her life where motherhood is proper for her and she likely knows that the adoption centers are flooded with kids as is. It's also unnecessary because it's something sustainable. While successful reproduction is appropriate and necessary for the continuation of the human species, it's not necessary in every case for everyone.
@@zion653 And you are incorrect with that definition of abortion. The fetus will still develope if viable. The proper phrasing is it may or may not lead to the end of an unborn from developing.
Are you seriously contending that tens of thousands of people were aborted and, yet, still exist? How, exactly, do you come to that conclusion? An abortive procedure terminates a pregnancy and, therefore, terminates the gestation of a developing child - resulting in the death of a child. The only exception is in cases where the child survives the abortive procedure, which is rare; however, proponents of abortion actually support measures to allow the child to die should it survive the abortive operation, a measure which is exponentially heinous. A woman's desire to end the life of a child by terminating her pregnancy does not trump the child's right to life. You do not have the right to end the life of another individual simply upon the basis that you find that individual to be inconvenient to your life. If a woman considers that she is not at the proper moment in her life to begin motherhood, then there exists a plethora of preventive measures to avoid such a reality, including a myriad of contraceptives as well as abstinence. If you engage in a coital affair and become pregnant, you do not have the right to terminate the life of the resultant individual. Any individual who does this is using abortion as a failsafe form of contraception, an act which I find deplorable. Adoption centers being "flooded" with children does not justify reasonably as a rationale for ending the life of the children. Any individual who believes that reproduction in their case is not "appropriate and necessary" should take measures to ensure that reproduction does not occur. Being irresponsible in your behavior does not qualify as a rationale for the termination of a developing child.

The governments job isn't to represent any particular generation but rather the governmenys job is to secure the unalienable rights of all generations. Because after all, these unalienable rights transcend age and time.
In theory it works, but the problems arise when the gridlock suddenly slips and some bad policy slips through. Then the gridlock resumes and then we're stuck with the bad policy because the gridlock prevents anyone from repealing the bad policy. It also relies on each branch of government staying inside their assigned boundaries, like the legislature shouldn't just throw up their hands and say "We can't get anything done, let the executive deal with it." Or the judicial has to realize that they should not be setting up laws without the legislature. And finally, the legislature, as you say, is designed to keep much of anything from getting done, so they shouldn't vote an executive department into existence and then get mad when the department doesn't do what they want.

Are you talking about the Pro-life argument? That was intellectually dishonest... A baby and a convicted felon on death row are not equivalent.... Firstly, one hasn't even been able to start a life, another has taken a life. Secondly, the amount of babies killed every year is around 500k to 600k, while total executions in the US average around 30.... thats about 20000 to 1......
That was the worst constructed "trap" I have ever heard. Kulinski tried to equate killing unborn and innocent children of our nation with killing a convicted felon, who was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers as the law prescribes. They have nothing to do with each other. Neither does the due process to be afforded a citizen of the US, and a suspected terrorist from another country. If that is the best Kulinsky can offer as a "trap", then he should have been ran.
War is at times indiscriminate...... Saudi Arabia is not the US... If we use the example of selling bombs to a country and they use them, we should also lay blame on judges who release prisoners from prison and they go and kill a person.... I had a family friend who was raped and murdered by a junky who was released from prison a day before..... does that mean the blame lies at the judges feet? While war can be indiscriminate, murder, actual murder is solely in the hands of the murderer... My point stands, that being pro-life and for the death penalty is not a fallacy, nor does it cancel each other out.... Next time try and bring a bit more of a coherent argument...

+E V-It sounds to me like you're saying everyone on death row are innocent. And how does capital punishment compare with a society's conscious act to kill a defenceless human being who has not committed any crime? The individual on death row go through a judicial process which involves judgement by his peers. It's not a perfect system but to make it accomodate your particular sense of fair play is ludicrous especially because it is a system that protects and deters.
Thomas Woo you stupid there are people every year on death row that are innocent and executed and murdered by the state. No shit not everyone is not a criminal there. Bad oh please until the system is reformed no life should have to be accused and tried by a system looking for more god damn victims
@@ev99193 nobody argues that improvement could not take place in the criminal justice system but the death penalty killing an innocent is very rare because of the thoroughness of our courts. Its not kyles fault that Michael knowles viewpoints are so hilariously contradictory and simplistic that one sentence refutes it lol. You cannot consider yourself pro life if you support a system that you know leads to The government murdering innocent citizens lives.
Matt it’s not intellectually dishonest. At least 4% of the Inmates put to death are innocents, if you’re okay with the government murdering innocent people just so you can kill actual criminals for your own sense of moral justice when locking them up for life would be cheaper then you just can’t objectively call yourself “prolife”, you’re killing innocents in order to kill more people. Think of it like this, you have 96 criminals you can have executed, but you can only kill them if you also kill 4 completely innocent lives as well. Would you kill those innocent people in order to get to The criminals ? Or would you lock them? (which would also be cheaper option as well.)
john oboczky But they DO KNOW that they are killing innocent people, that’s why the analogy works . they may not know exactly which ones are innocent , but they know for a fact that a percentage of them are innocent and execute them anyway. That’s the entire point. I’d argue that you’re being intellectually dishonest by pretending this an argument over whether there are more innocent fetuses or more innocent people on death row when this argument is about being consistent with your “pro life” view and not being a hypocrite. The fact that michael knowles knows that innocent people are put to death but still literally professes his love for that system only makes him just more of hypocritical intellectual lightweight. Loving a system that you know kills innocent lives Is extremely antithetical to the entire concept of being “pro life” , it’s not pro life, it’s anti abortion.
john oboczky it absolutely is hypocritical , sorry you don’t like the proper use of the word but it fits. You’re making a false equivalence between letting in immigrants and directly killing people especially when there are alternatives to killing that are even cheaper than the death penalty .

Abortion isn't the execution of anything other than an unnecessary pregnancy.
+Dennis Bloodsworth
Pregnancy defines the act of what?

Gridlock in government is essential. In fact this was intentional by the founders.
Agreed. The wheels of government move slowly so that it is not subject to the whims of popular opinion.
@@Praehotec Yep, that's the blueprint for the glacial-pace subversion of America - so slow hardly anyone can detect it happening!
Yeah, he does a good job

Lol I‘m not a leftist but must be extremely in your right-wing bubble to really believe that Knowels was nailing it here. This guy is just insanely foolish and an utter partisan hack.
Every time dude on the left makes a point he gets nervous as hell & reaches for his water bottle lol
If they would have added the D'ouza and Shapiro... It would be a massacre 😂😂
I think I’ll recruit Sam Seder and Vaush for my side

Knowles stands and defends those with conservative values. And much as I like Lauren Chen she should boldly declare her position and not bother with cordiality masking her intellectual jugglery. The issue of abortion-like all issues-has shades but it is also black and white. Take a firm stand Lauren. It's life or death of the defenseless unborn. Kudos on Michael Knowles. He has balls.
Exactly!
Love to see you say the same for the innocent that are murdered on death row. You’re a Charlatan
An extremely rare scenario does not work to disprove a necessary punishment for some of the worlds most disgusting people.
"You're not pro-life 'cause you're for the death penalty." Wow...some real intellectual wizardry here, folks.
Exactly! It was such a stupid argument from Kyle
Its not kyles fault that Michael knowles viewpoints are so hilariously contradictory and simplistic that one sentence refutes it lol. You cannot consider yourself pro life if you support a system that you know leads to
The government murdering innocent citizens lives.
Would you kill those innocent people in order to get to
The criminals ?
If you want to know why Bakari Sellers is a “former” representative just watch the video.
Yup, very rude, inconsiderate, arrogant, narcissistic racist pretending to be an intellectual.

liberals always do that. i also had a liberal tell me (online) that she was glad she didnt know anyone who thought like i thought. then she told me i was in a bubble. smh. i used to be a liberal an i would actually catch myself saying things that i heard on tv that i really didnt believe after i thought about it for a minute.
@regulator619 triggered
regulator619 did we watch the same debate?
regulator619 i only remember Kyle getting triggered and shoot ad hominems for the latter half of the debate while avoiding all of Kirk’s questions.
regulator619 yup. You’re triggered.
