Michael, I was a Vice President of Finance for a billion dollar insurance company. When I became pregnant I resigned. I never intended to work when I became a mother. The hate I received from women, and only women, was awful. They said things like, I am making women look bad. I made it to the top just to quit to be a housewife and so on. I said I considered it a promotion. These feminists are not for women at all. So sad.

Good for you. When I was in the workforce, I had a great job, I got laid off during the recession and found out I was pregnant soon after. At 8 months pregnant, I realized I wanted to raise my baby and be there for their needs. A lot of women these days are promised the world through feminism, then realize they are just toiling away all day and getting older without a husband or children that they secretly really want. Haterz gonna hate, lol 😆

I actually had this EXACT encounter in college, and the person who said that to me was a guy. The professor had us discussing and sharing different thoughts, and I said if my future spouse has the financial stability, I would have no problem being a stay at home mom and raising the kids. My male classmate gave me a nasty look and said, "Well, my mom worked full time while taking care of me and my sister. I don't agree with women who choose to stay at home and not work." That's when I realized third wave feminism is bullshit. They preach about women can make their own decisions, but if your opinion goes against their ideology, they will trash you.

I get so annoyed at the women who think the men who want a traditional wife are just lazy abusers who want a maid. When I was pregnant I had HG, which basically means I was ill my entire pregnancy and it was debilitating. I was in bed for two straight months just trying to sleep because if I was awake I was throwing up. My husband worked at home and everyday he worked all day long then cooked, cleaned, ran errands and cared for me. Never complaining once. He hasn’t changed a diaper in months but that man is anything but selfish and lazy. He’s the leader, provider and protector of myself and our daughter. Being his traditional wife is a freakin pleasure and these women don’t understand how incredible it is to be with a man like that. They want a beta man they can boss around. How sad.

This thing is a lot of these feminist oriented women don't look for men that hold traditional values.
They pick the man who they never even really talk about family values before screwing the guy and then marrying him and then blame men in general for her choices in men.
And on why men are the way they are now noticed that she considered twenty year olds young.
She thinks that women should not be serious about kids or marriage or life in general until 30s, then what did she expect men to do if women are acting and thinking that way.
I was unable to find a wife because of the way society thinks now and few traditional women left so of course guys are going to become whatever it takes to get to the woman and if she's the one playing around, you're gonna play around because women don't want serious guys.
If you want a guy that's fun and funny and hot and that's your top priority, then what do you expect he's gonna be like when you have kids.
And i'm not saying those are bad traits for a guy to have, But that's unfortunately the trait that women put a priority on and we see them. Turn down good guys because it's better to have a bad boy with those traits than a good guy that doesn't
That is short sighted and I can get into a lot of why do you think those are good? But for example I'm adventurous and can't be funny. But I am pretty serious and normal in my daily life. But that means I make a good living but I don't show it off and confident and hard work isn't enough anymore.
So I'm not giving the chance to show that I can be those extra things because. What makes me a good father and husband are not desirable any more.

I’m 29 years old, hold a bachelors & masters degrees, and I’ve struggled for a decade with deciding what I want to do in life as a career. Sure I enjoy what I’m doing with my life right now working in higher education, but I learned when I turned 29 that this life I am living is not my dream, it is simply the life I am living because I have to live it.
When I was younger trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life, EVERY time I would pivot & try to find something new I’m passionate about doing for a job, I’d always go back to my mom and tell her “I don’t like working 9 to 5, I don’t enjoy these industries that I see around me, I don’t necessarily want to work for a company from home because I would just want to not do my remote job while at home. If I’m home…I want to be home & enjoy being home! I want to garden & read & clean & take care of my animals. But I know I also need income and I want to be able to be home and have someone else take care of earning income.” And then it finally dawned on me….I literally want to be a stay at home wife & mother. I want a husband to take care of me by being the earner for our home. I want to be able to take care of my home and the children we bring into it!! I’ve literally had a home management binder since I was 23 years old and I enjoy updating it & doing tasks around the house. Yes, I want to be able to depend on a husband! No, I don’t want to be totally independent. And for the longest time I was embarrassed about wanting this life because it somehow meant that I was lazy or not living up to my potential. I KNOW I’m capable of being a director or head of a business. I KNOW I can go out there and make lots of money. I KNOW I’m capable…I JUST DONT WANT TO!! I don’t want to do those things🤷🏽‍♀️I’m sorry, but when people ask me what my “dream job/career” is, I have to be honest and say I don’t dream of working in a typical career. I dream of being home. I dream of being taken care of by my husband who I will, in turn, care for as well. I dream of being a mother & actually raising my children and not letting the government or someone else raise them while I work a job I don’t actually want to do.
When I tell you that it has been so FREEING to see other women be open & honest about wanting to be stay at home wives, be homemakers, or traditional wives? I felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I don’t wanna be a boss babe, I don’t wanna be head of an office. I want to be home. Not because I’m FORCED to be in the home, but because I am CHOOSING to be there. I know I can work outside the home, I just don’t want to. And I no longer choose to feel ashamed of that.

When I told him, during our dating years, that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, and maybe even homeschool my children, he just couldn’t take it. He thought I would just sit at home, watching soap operas, eating bon-bons - while he slaved away all day.
He talked to his dad about his feelings, and his dad told him that, between childcare, fuel, eating out (because mom would be too exhausted after a day’s work to cook a decent meal), and professional wardrobe, plus all the other little expenses that add up - it probably cost their family MORE to have my mother-in-law work.
My husband has expressed to me so many times over the years, how much he appreciates that I stay home and educate our kids, make good food, process our garden produce, and so on. There have been times in our marriage that I’ve picked up a little side hustle here or there. We have a modest income and a modest home and modest vehicles. But we’re united in our goals to be debt-free and to raise our family in wisdom.
I’m not glamorous like these ladies. But I’m happy because I’ve chosen this life and God has blessed me.

I'm traditional in many ways. In my 34 years of marriage I've been a traditional wife for 29 of those years. I'm also a traditional Roman Catholic, and I love dressing like a woman in pretty modest dresses and skirts, along with tops that show no cleavage or a lot of skin. My husband works hard, and as a wife I like making our house a home, cooking and baking, and doing what real wives are supposed to do. I'm thankful for all of hard work my husband does.

Your story is told by not just propagandist f3m1nists but by every day women, as being the norm. It is not. First, it's women who destroy their families at an 80+% rate. Second, it is not infidelity but rather finances that is the #1 cause for divorce. Generally, it is that he isn't making enough money for her to flex for her family and toxic friends. Good women need to sound off on this. Your case is rarer than what I described, which understandably makes women uncomfortable, but it has to be said that women are the ones at fault that the institution of marriage is at the worst state that it has ever been.

I used to think I wanted the feminist lifestyle and that being a trad wife was just taking the easy way. But since my sister got married and is a stay at home mother, and lives as a trad wife, I’ve slowly come to realize how natural it is for a woman to want that. I am currently in the military and I plan on getting out once my contract ends, I used to enjoy the life it gave me (I joined because I was living in my car and needed a job to provide food and shelter for me, not a lot of options 🤷🏼‍♀️) but now babysitting for my sister whenever I’m back home, I see how fulfilling her life is. My sister is beautiful and graceful and strong, she is such a light in her family’s life. It’s not as easy as people think, but I would absolutely love to raise a family and care for a husband that provides for us. I just hope that I didn’t wipe away all my femininity by being in the military and I can find someone who wants to share a life like that with me.

Still, there is a misconception about what submission means. It doesn’t mean to obey blindly and to allow yourself to be abused. It means the husband has the final say when it comes to important decisions. Also women don’t submit to any random man. It is picking a man as your husband that you can trust to take care of you. This is a Christian principle. The Christian man is instructed to lead his family as Christ leads the Church, selflessly, and to even lay down his life to protect them if necessary.
With that said, I’d guess most men don’t live lives anywhere near the standard required to lead a family.

In reality living on one income is difficult and only possible because the wife cooks the meals, gardens, mends, shops carefully, and chooses to go without the little luxuries, and often living in a smaller home than their two income counterparts. I remember the girls, when I was growing up, looking at me like I had 3 heads. Being a wife and mother were the "only" goals I had. Obviously there was something wrong with me. Thankfully I never cared what feminists thought of me. I raised my girls the same way. I raised my son to be aware of the feminist ideology, and avoid them like the plague! What bugs me is that feminists never mention that until the 20th century almost all jobs were hard manual, and often dangerous, labor (plowing, lumber, mining, etc.), and rarely had a choice of which job he would do (it was based on what the man's father did). I never see feminists say that it was a negative that women of the past were never forced in mass to do these jobs.

I’m in the middle of this. I love the tradwife ideology and have always wanted to find “the one” and build a family and whatnot… but in my teens, 20s and early thirties leading up to my marriage, I only found men who were abusive narcissists. It wasn’t until I was abandoned by my husband in a foreign country, left without money, a place to live, or the capability of getting a job did I finally find therapy through social assistance. I realized where all of this normalization of abusive relationships came from - my childhood. Needless to say, sometimes women are brought up in abusive cycles they can’t escape, but don’t know how to recognize early on and fall into horrible situations that destroy them. That’s why it’s such a safe guard to be financially independent. It’s a protective measure. I’m sure we all want the man that takes care of us, but for some of us it doesn’t happen. I’m happy to say now, by a stroke of luck I found my man for life… but I feel for the women out there, it’s not like men these days are itching to provide, care, love.. as maybe they once felt inclined to.

I have been a "Trad Wife" for 33 years. I could not find a job outside of my home that was as fulfilling as being a Traditional Wife. I was able to be at home when my children took their first steps, said "mama" and "dada", learned to ride their bikes, and helped them with their homework. I was able to build a relationship with my husband through good times and bad while not being distracted by my boss or my job at the office, grocery store, medical office , or....??? I was able to enjoy relationships with the women on my block and with my grandmother whom we lived behind for 22 years. I also was able to develop deep friendships and serve other mothers in our church's Mother's of Preschoolers program.
My children learned to keep house as they completed their chores daily.
I believe a woman does not have to receive a paycheck to feel fulfilled.
Homemaking is about relationships, creating lasting traditions, as well as providing a haven for peace, instruction and love.
The Feminist movement was about women having choices and being fulfilled in their vocations. The position of Homemaker and being a Traditional Wife should never have been removed from the list of aspirations.

You never know what the future might bring.
I was widowed at the young age of 26 & mother of an eighteen month old baby & a 5 year old.
His death was caused by a tragic plane crash. He was the pilot of the plane he leased.
Everyone said Social security will pay spouse & children benefits & you will be fine! Nothing could be further than the truth for me.
Back story, my husband was self employed &
I had been a traditional stay at home wife & mother.
I was suddenly the only parent without a formal education.
The business required state licensing & I wasn't allowed by the state to even finish the jobs that were in process . Taxes were due for that quarter & there was no money to pay them. It takes months to get SS benefits! So the state put a lein on all assets & bank accounts even my car. I reached out to family but they refused to help.
Next I received a letter that the company he leased the plane from had filed suit for the cost of the plane.
I was sued by vendors , customers (because work wasn't finished). Then the employees for their pay.
So now that my SS benefits were being seized by the state I had no resources!!!
A friend came to my rescue & filled a hardship claim in court. The judge let me keep my car & SS.
I applied for a grant to attend nursing school & that was denied!
The reason was my race! She told me that if I wasn't white it would have been approved.
I saved enough to finally attend & graduate with a nursing degree!
I raised my sons in a Christian home .
The point is there's hundreds of scenarios so have a plan even if you are young! This all happened in 1980.
I always trusted that God would get me through it , what he did was give me the strength & tenacity to survive the worst scenario of my life!
I'm 70 now with beautiful grandchildren & my sons are solid Christians!
    God's plan works!!

Dang... Her last point was so heartbreaking. I'm 30 and I've been happily married to a trad wife for almost 10 years. We know our roles, we love God and we desperately love each other. We have two beautiful boys and a wonderful marriage. It's 100% not a fantasy, but only if both parties understand that marriage is sacrifice for the good of the other. It's selfless love, giving without expecting anything in return. In the Modern age, we've been teaching young men and women that love is about finding the right person, when in reality, it is about CHOOSING to put another's needs ahead of yours. How incredibly sad that this young lady's view of the world is utter hopelessness...when there is hope in Jesus Christ.

(Young love is known for being incredibly romantic, but lasting? Not so much. Couples who get married at age 20 are 50 percent more likely to divorce than couples who wait until they’re 25, with 28 being the "sweet spot" when it comes to marriage, a study by Psychology Today suggests.)

In my experience with being a housewife, what I noticed is the backlash I'd get from men and women was always jealousy because they were forced to work and I was not. They would give an eye roll and say, "it must be nice". For years it would really get under my skin until I realized that their criticism was about their own issues and had nothing to do with the lifestyle my husband and I chose for ourselves. These were the same people in unhappy marriages also, which I found interesting. I think they resented the fact that I had a husband who chose and wanted to take care of me financially and I wanted to take care of him, our kids and our home. I dont regret it and I refuse to apologize for it 🤷

I’ve also found it sad that so many women who work outside the home talk about not being able to homeschool or stay at home with their kids because they couldn’t handle being with them all the time or wouldn’t want to be at home with their family every day. It seems so unnatural to not only hear women talk like that but then set their lives up in a way where they are only around their kids for a couple “fun” hours a day or vacation days here and there.
I’m with my kids all day every day, and it’s actually made us do less activities outside the home. We don’t need to constantly have classes, clubs, or teams that our kids would get shuffled off to.

"It must be nice" is not criticism. As you pointed out, it is envy because they can't afford to be, or to have, a stay at home mom. Husband needs *a high paying career and medical insurance* to afford that. I stayed home, until my 3 kids started school, then I went back to my Accounting career. I loved being a homemaker and *got zero zero negativity from anyone.* Maybe you bragged and provoked eye rolls. I never did and I never got any negativity. Be positive!

Same. My group of friends in my hometown started to distance themselves from me until we no longer spoke. My wife and I will often argue about weekly meals to cook. We reached an impasse in where she would cook during the week. The resolution we found is because the meals I prefer to cook are extremely involved and often take 3 hours to prepare, on the BBQ with all ingredients made from scratch. The resolution was she cooks during the week, and I cook on weekends.
Part of a strong household is that both husband and wife have duties, but each relationship might delegate roles differently. We both were surprised when after we had kids, our household duties almost naturally gravitated towards traditional roles. An example recently was we had pigeons living on our roof under the solar panels and covering our roof in droppings, and we are on tank water. My natural instinct was to get up on the roof without wasting time, put up pigeon-proofing, but my wife was deathly scared of the idea of getting on the roof with power tools. So while I was on the roof cleaning up and protecting the roof, she cleaned the house. I also can't stand seeing the lawn too long, and she can't stand seeing a speck of dirt on the floorboards. We didn't even have a discussion about 'Well you're a man so you do this job, you're a woman so you do this job' it just happened that way and we instinctively felt comfortable in our own home with different jobs. She looks after in the home, and I look after outside of the home.

I couldn't even finish watching this. This modern feminism pisses me off! I wanted to have a family. I wanted to be available for my children. Raise them Christian. Teach them values. Have time to listen to them whenever they need me. But no! Now I am on my own with 3 kids and too busy to be there for them the way I long to be. Most of what they get is hurry up, I have to get to work!! Hurry up! It's time to go to bed, I have to go to work early. My kid is sick, I have to be reprimanded for missing days to do my God given job. I have to explain to my boss why I'm late because of something my kids did or need. The JOB doesn't care about you. You are very replaceable at your job. You have a chance to impact the future by raising the next generation and feminism spits in the face of that. I am not alone by choice. Many women look down on me for wanting the old ways. Look at the state of this world. I drive a school bus. Many mothers put their sick kids on the bus, because they have to go to work. (Some vomit on the bus before we get to school. This is insanity. Why can't the poor things stay home. We are more slaves now than ever before. We gave up freedom and traded it for a thankless burden. We miss most of our kids lives. I make a great effort to be there, but I am only one person. Kids need a father AND a mother. There is no science to it. It takes a lot to raise kids right. Feminism is to blame for many of or current problems . We dumped God and His order and are paying dearly for it.

I have been a “trad wife”, raising 6 boys for nearly 30 years. I never felt submissive to my husband- rather I have seen myself as his partner. We shared goals and both did our part to meet them. I basically ran our household, doing nearly every domestic task as well as all child related things- so when hubby was home from work, we had time to be a family and enjoy ourselves. I paid all the bills, and kept hubby in the loop regarding where things stood financially. We discussed big ticket purchases, making sacrifices when needed. I just recently re-entered the work force- as our youngest is now all sorted out. I love being back at work, and enjoy the extra money but would do the trad wife thing all over again if given the choice.

I am a mother of five young children with my husband, who I've been with since 16 (nearly 30 now).
I gave up full time work to be a stay at home mum and now that several of my children are starting school, I am doing Open University with the view of becoming an English teacher when they are all in school. My husband does help a bit with housework when needed and is a very active father, thank goodness, but I do the cooking, most of the cleaning, am the default parent and do most of the family plans etc. We chose these roles together. I facilitate him being able to going to work and his going to work facilitates me being able to stay at home with the children, which we both felt was very important.
I never felt 'very young' to do it in my twenties; I shudder at the thought of having waited until I was years older. Most of my friends who are only just starting to think about having kids are now stuck in a situation where they have established a career and lifestyle that will force them back to work when their babies are a few months old, and to put them in full time childcare, which I would absolutely hate.
I have faced no judgement from men for it and no judgement from older women but younger women are a different story! I have literally been called a breeder and have heard so many young women talk about it as 'not doing anything' or 'just popping out kids' etc. It's the most spiritually fulfilling, profound, emotionally challenging, physically draining, purposeful, inspiring, tough thing I've ever done. There's nothing like it. It brought me peace in myself, motivation and clarity for the future and faith in God. Being a mother is the most incredible thing I have done and will ever do and it's not because I lack imagination or skill or ambition, it's because creating tiny life from love with my husband and watching and feeling that little child grow inside me, going through the intensity of labour and birth and watching this child blossom before my eyes is the most stirring, breath taking honour I can imagine.

People thought we were nuts then and wouldn't listen when we told them our reasons but we have no regrets. Now with tiktºk everyone has been able to see it for themselves. For our part, my husband is happy, our kids are happy and not braínwashed 👍 and I'm happy at home with them. We're using a classical curriculum that I only could have dreamed of having as a child. The teachers at these schools are acting subversively to ingratiate themselves to the kids and try to be "cooler" than their parents, to isolate them from their parents who most likely are trying to influence and provide discipline to the kids. It becomes the "cool teacher who "gets" me", against the parents who have expectations and an actual stake in the child's success and life.
