Delicious Ricer Potatoes

  • You'll Need:
    6 to 8 large Russet Potatoes (peeled,quartered, and sliced thinly)
    1 pint half & half (more or less depending on your preference)
    2 sticks of butter
    1 teaspoon each salt and pepper
    Potato ricer- I bought one from an online store
    Directions:
    1. Boil Potatoes for 8 to 10 min until you can easily cut them with a knife.
    2. Save some of the starch water from the potatoes,about 1 cup.
    3. Scoop up and run the potatoes through the ricer.
    4. Use the pan you used for boiling the potatoes to heat up the butter and half & half.
    5. One heated add small portions to the potatoes and stir well to incorporate.
    6. Taste and add Seasonings to taste.
    (With other variations of this recipe, you may add finely shredded cheese to your preference)
    7. Enjoy!
