The default thread on the ball head without an adapter is 3/8 am I correct? And they provide a 3/8 to 5/8 adapter? Where’s the 1/4 to 3/8 adapter
Default is 1/4. The 1/4 to 3/8 adapter is black and it comes screwed into the 3/8 to 5/8 adapter which is already mounted to the ball head.

How tall is the initial rise of this boom arm? im looking at it and i think it could be a good one for my setup, but restricted with height. cant find the info online
From desk to top of folded boom arm it’s
6.3 inches high.
i rlly like this boom arm ilove that its low profile since i dont have much space in my desk. but for my mic im using Hyper X Quadcast S will it fit?
Yes it should fit since the Quadcast S does come with a 3/8” & 5/8” adapter 👍

As long as they have 1/4”, 3/8” or 5/8” threads then they should.
How do you take of the orange part
If it’s stuck in the microphone I’ll either use a wide flat head screw driver or sometimes a quarter.
I have the same issue were you able to take it out?

1 simple question that i really cant seem to figure out, can you attach a phone mount on the boom arm? Planning on shooting top to down videos so im wondering, also ur ABSOLUTELY underrateed, the videos and reviews are REALLY high quality and really detailed so thank you for that.
Technically you can attach a phone mount. The only issue is the 1/4 thread is pretty long at just over 1/2 an inch in length.

For some reason my one arm slightly slopes down idk why
Have you tried tightening the tension? Out of the box the arm drooped down for me as well.

It's an inverted build to have the glass on the right side vs the left.
