    Amazon sells many cheap USB mics which can make it hard to find the best USB mic for your budget. Most of these USB microphones are from cheap brands, except for the Razer Seiren Mini. Coming from razer, it's surprizing that it isn't overpriced, and on top of that, it's said to be one of the best budget microphones so I was really excited to test it out.

    IF THE VIDEO FEELS WEIRD SOMETIMES, HERE'S WHY:
    I included a bunch of amazon screenshots etc & got an email that showing amazon prices/screenshots is not allowed so I had to cut them all out.
    As a result, the video has weird cuts, music switches etc, however, no information has been cut out so the info is still solid.
    Cheers

      I would say that the Sudotack is by far the best and most practical of those.
      The Razer one seems to be kinda in the way when playing and it's not really good enough for creating content like podcasts etc. The Sudotack not only sounds the best of them, but has an arm delivered with it, which makes it easier to place at you desk. So this would definitely be my choice.

    Thank you for this very informative yet brief overview of some entry level mics! I could hear the obvious difference in quality amongst the mics tested, but, being new to this, I found that all the mics, the "trash" ones included, were perfectly fine for lower budgets. I bought a mic "kit" very similar to the Sudotek one you featured with boom arm and accessories. I guess I will start to notice a difference once I've gone through the basic levels of voice recording. Again, thank you for this video!

    I’ve been using the Raleno M30 for a while now, and I think it still holds up as a good starter mic, but I definitely agree with the stand issue.

    this video is from 2 years ago and still holds up incredibly well, I thank you for making all the comparison in real life scenarions rather than on ideal settings, specially when these microphones are meant under most circumstances to be used on (relatively) noisy environments when you take the pc keyboard and mouse into account. It helped me to decide on the seinen mini+arm

    I personally have a Fifine and honestly it sounds great, since the segment with the fifine on the boom arm was short, there was more emphasis on the sudotack. However with a simple pop filter the fifine sounds amazing even without a boom arm. Especially since it's like half the price.

    the sudotack seems like the best deal, simply due to the amazing sound quality for the price, and the extra items it comes with

    • @Serenity-rp8is
      @Serenity-rp8is 2 роки тому +10

      Exactly. I'm creating two youtube channels for experiments, one will be a UFO channel where I need to use my voice (FK robot voice lol). I think this is the best deal for a beginner until they can grab something better / more expensive. Plus, if the boom quality is fair, it may be usable for another mic.

    I’ve been using the sudotack st-800 for a week. Totally worth it! If you’re planning to buy any of these mics, you should get the sudotack since it’s a complete package and the sound quality sounds like an expensive mic.

      Does it pick up loud noises? I use a open back headphone and mechanical keyboard for gaming and am kinda afraid that it will pick the noises up and annoy my friends.

    • @lieutenantchubby2141
      @lieutenantchubby2141 2 роки тому +5

      @@joostfloot5279 It is possible that the mic would pick up the noises from your open back headphones. As for the keyboard noises, I use an anne pro 2 keyboard with brown switches so I don’t really have a problem with that. The mic does pick up some loud noises in the background such as dogs barking or door knocking.
