There is also a concert version of this song. This band is oozing talent. Hannah is incredible. The addition of Yuri and Angie very much invigorated this band. Love them so much. Would love to se them in concert. Would be so much fun!
Song starts in 7, then to 3, then to 4. Just my cup of tea. You rarely hear time signature changes in rock these days and the way they make everything move so smoothly is a testament to their skill.
Hi, I'm grad to see you again here! I was sure you would be pleased with this song. But I did not say for fear that my suggestion would interfere with your work. As you probably realized, Angelina was still in her infancy when this song was recorded. So she sang the simple chorus only. But enough of the complicated talk, I always pay attention to the "guitarists (composers) who never try to stand out". 5:11(on your movie), this TOMOZO's guitar tone is absolutely perfect. :-)
I've really enjoyed GS for years and thought them one of the best bands around, but adding Angie and Yuri just upped the level (leting Hana move up front on guitar). I think Angie was probably around 17 in this video, what a find for the band to add her.
ya know i dont care what people say about other bands ....man that one can "shredd" or this one can do this or that...and that is what you walk away with after listening to them!! ....whatever!...thats great!.....every member of Gacharic Spin is F***ING AMAZING !!! that is what you walk away with after listening to them!
Tomo-zo is wielding her custom Ice Cream cone guitar (made by ESP Guitars for her). It can light up with color led lights and even has a compartment for kid candies! LOL
Never really been a fan of auto tune but it doesn't bother me here, probably because I know they're great vocally and its not a crutch. They also got this great song called "138" That also uses a little auto tune. I caught like 10 seconds of it as part of a promo video. I literally spent 2 hours searching YT and doing a forensic breakdown trying to Google of the little lyrics I heard (really hard if you don't know Japanese LOL). Anyway, finally found one performance. Luckily its great quality from a recorded live performance at Electric Ladyland. The song is only 3 minutes long but it is a slow jazzy groove driven by a great guitar melody and vocals. Speaking of vocals, they also just released another live performance 3 weeks ago called "365" (what's with all the numbers?!) that's more of a ballad and almost choir like. Not sure what its about but during the performance there's a bts video montage of the band hanging out outside of music. Anyway, enjoy your channel. We got a lot of the same taste. I knew you were a solid dude when you knew about Trujillo playing in Infectious Grooves.
Welcome, Ryan, to another rabbit hole. Appropriately enough, GS has a song called "Rabbit Hole" among its new releases this year. Maybe they know something about their fan base? Consider reacting to live performances by Gacharic Spin (the first name is pronounced like "Gotcha Rick") of the songs Tamishii and Redline, both from the 10th anniversary final concert video. Plenty more lives to consider: Next Stage, Hunting Summer, Stay Gold (all from 10th anniversary) and 1 Game and Days from their "Live at Zepp Haneda." There aren't enough adequate adjectives to describe this band.
You seem to be on costant journey of curiosity, looking at Japanese rock bands and various other bands. I can sympathize with your attitude and wish I could be like that myself.
Thank you, I am on this journey of Japanese music! Finding Japanese music made me realize there is music everywhere that you may like. I've found new favorites from Indonesia, Norway, Japan... Texas, even LOL ONCE I got over the language barrier, it was a whole new musical world!
Gold Dash (the album) had less success than their last eponymous one - but it' actually a very good album! Many very good songs on it - check Frustration ua-cam.com/video/ozNFfo-TZ78/v-deo.html
I was among the ones who underestimate the Gold Dash album but it really grown on me. Songs like "Gold Dash", "Kishikaisei Forever", "Eikyu No Misson", "Frustration" or "Gyakkyo Hero" are real bangers.
Loved me some Gacha Pin for years. In fact, I think the FIRST J-rock shirt I bought was the 5th Anniversary show shirt. This band has been through SO MANY iterations, it's hard for even fans to keep up. The recurring theme is they are just so good and polished. SUPER visual and 100% a live band.
Gacharic Spin is so versatile. Compare this song to 「ジェネレーションギャップ」 or "Generation Gap" (ua-cam.com/video/MFlrOAQsf2Q/v-deo.html), which is a hidden gem that nobody has reacted yet.
Yes I love their versatility and funk elements. Ryan has actually heard Generation Gap as part of the 2018 dvd that he reacted to on his patreon although he probably wouldn’t know it by name.
@@Marlon48239 I know that Wave Potter also did a live stream reaction to the MV for Generation Gap and it got the stream blocked, so it may be why you don't see reactions to it?
What can I say--one could just listen to Japanese bands and never run out of great stuff. Honestly, when I saw the list of songs and artists up for Grammys my reaction was "meh". Not missing anything.

It's a mystery to me why more people aren't in love with this band.
Have nothing but love for Gacharic Spin. Definitely not one to turn a blind eye when it comes to this exceptional group of women. ✌💙🤘
Let's say... Unique isn't for everybody
@@frishan5938 Their loss, our gain. ✌️🤘

What really surprises me is that they only have 10k listeners on spotify.
This is probably the best formation of the band.

Think we're all in the "I really love Hana!" club 😉

A true hidden gem in their impressive musical catalog 🤘
She has an amazing voice, awesome reaction.

Rabbit Hole is on Ryan’s to-do list.
He’s seen Tamashii already (10th anniversary and Toy instrument versions) just search on his channel.

The best rock band coming from Japan, period.
I wasn't aware you might listen to GS in your spare (non-video) time :)
Doll$Boxxx more than GS, but, yes I do sometimes, mixed in on playlists
Title track off the previous album Ryan. You may also get a glimpse of Tomo-Zo's ice cream sundae 🍨 guitar in the video✌️❤🤘
I would pay large to hear this live. O.M.F.G
