Loved it. Simple and to the point. Do we need to do these exercises on a daily basis?
I am not able to get the pdf could u help me with that?
Ballet style "squats" known as plie's are easier on your knees and improve balance and core awareness as well.
The only problem with this is of you are a retired dancer you are looking to turn your feet forward. My worst problem!
@@tishgarland2225 I always have mixed it up with some straight feet forward jazz plie. It's about not letting your ass fall backward so it hurts your knees coming back up. It is about keeping a center and balance.
Needed this! I’m only 24 n have RA
@@tishgarland2225 I’m a former dancer (I do modern know and horse riding) and I have this problem
On saturdays I go horse back riding and I had to stand in the stable and I couldn't at all but I did this for to days be for I went horse back riding and I actually could stand on the stable for a long tine without falling so people who watch this I recommend you to use this video all the time
That’s awesome 😀 I’m so glad it’s helped 💕 thanks for sharing 🐴
@@JSHorsemanship your awesome and from this day I still use it
Having my first lesson after being away for 18 years! Your videos are very helpful!
Thanks so much for putting this together. I haven't been riding as much this last year and wanted to get myself back into shape. This is really helpful. 🐴
I was looking for this!!!!! Your by far my favorite channel 😍no one else makes since
Thank you Alaina😊
This comment made my day💕🐴
thanks for the excercises, I will start my first riding lesson soon and I'm preparing myself :p
I’m going to the barn to ride today! I’ll try this before I go💖
Same you need rest so do it a bit before then chill and it might hopefully help
that’s not how it works lol, u gotta do it for atleast 2 weeks to notice a difference
really? oh
Just a tip, right before riding these are not the best exercises. These are good to improve your riding but not before riding because most of them are static. You should look for dynamic movements before riding and keep these ones for the days youre not riding! Wish you luck with your training
I needed this kind of video! I live in Japan and I'm taking horseback lessons so I'm happy I found this video. Thanks a lot and I'll try it right away!
I’m still pretty inexperienced for how long I’ve been riding. Summer camp held me back :/ But the past 2 years I’ve taken it up for real. I’m pretty outta shape and it will be a whole process to gain the muscle to do all of these easily. But I will try my best :D
Hi I'm new to this channel but I LOVE ❤ horses they are so beautiful and smart and I decided to go to a horse riding school and it will be my first time riding a horse so this is so helpful and thank you so much for this and all of your videos they help me to be perfect for the day I go to that school. 😁🙂🤗👍
Hi JS, your videos are very interesting, easy to understand for a beginner. My 11 years old daughter is following you and watching your videos while she is taking her lessons in horse riding in India. Thanks for the sharing the amazing content.
This is fantastic; thank you. I'll add more of these into my workouts. I really struggle with the toes out since I did a grade II ankle sprain last year! I cannot point my toe forward for the life of me! Lol
I have the same struggle!! Sprained it a few years ago and it hasn’t been the same sense. How is it for you now?
Thank you so much! This video is so helpful to me. I only get to ride once a week, and sometimes twice. So this video is super helpful. Now I can strengthen for horseback riding everyday. Thank you for posting this!
I have found the perfect video with your exercise regime 🙌😁🐶 Thank you very much. The dog decided "help" me out whilst I was on the floor which made it a bit more fun but I am sure great progress can be made 💪😁🐶🐴
I’m now doing a around 15 minute work out daily.
I know it’s not that long, but I’m just getting back into working out and I don’t want to exhaust myself.
15 minutes per day is great 😘if you are also riding than that is more than enough exercise
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 invaluable advice! ✨
Loved this!! Going to start doing it
this is a video every horse rider should watch
This really helped! Thank you!
Thanks so much for this! This helped a whole lot! 😊
thank you for this i love this
When you said straight toes I thought you meant you wanted us to point our toes 😂😂 now it makes sense this is also very helpful thank you!!
😂
Thank so this is very helpful for horse rider I started this exercise till 2 days I can find that is very helpful,Love from India🇮🇳🙏
I struggle keeping my toes forward -- definitely gonna add leg lifts to my day and see if it helps!
Thank u for all these tips❤ .. I'll try it before my next ride🤩
Thank you I need this
These are so effective and easy at the same time! i struggle with the toe too :)
Thank you so much!! Already doing it!
Thank you!
Thank you! This helped me so much and i've improved a lot! :)

Tq very much for ur valuable information ❣️

This is amazing!!! I really love how the exercises are simple and take no time. Thank you so much🤗.
Thank you 😊
I just did this and I already feel a lot better! I’m riding today and really struggle with my shoulders so I’m really hoping the Superman helps with that!
Thanks so much
Thank uuuu❤️❤️
Thank u so much for this! I have a very sassy mare who needs a strong rider!
I like all your videos I have watched!!! Very clear explanation and professional presentation!!! Very much helpful!!! Thank you so much❤!!!
thank you this help
thank you so much for this! i needed this, because my posture is kind of terrible due to slouching my back to look at the screen whenever i gamed or whatever. so thank you again!! :))
This is amazing, thank you. I'm in the process of trying to improve my fitness to get back into the saddle and start lessons again - my goal is to be ready by around November as we'll probably be in lockdown until then. I have chronic fatigue and I stopped lessons last time because it was knocking me around too much - after riding, I would have to sleep for the rest of the day and maybe the following day too, and it triggered a few "setbacks" where I'd be overall really tired for a while. So I am trying to build up my fitness so that I can ride again without a massive crash, and I'll also spend some time of the lesson out of the saddle learning other things (like lunging or caring for a horse) if the riding is getting too strenuous in a lesson.
I've been doing small exercises every day as my sister, a physiotherapist, has recently released an app that basically gives runners a workout plan to improve their strength and reduce injury. It's aimed at runners though - it's still great and very useful for me, even though I don't run, but I'd really like some exercises aimed at equestrians. I'm peppering exercises throughout my day so that I'm not sitting down all day long and I can also manage my energy better when it's spread out among gentler activities.
Thank you! I’m moving to a new stable soon and I want to be fit!
شكرا لك لقد استفدت كثيرا كنت اعاني من الافخاذ والظهر
helped me like loads😃😀😄😁
thank you
I haven't started riding. But, I'm really looking forward to ride in the future. Will this workout help me in the future if I start doing it now??
That’s a great idea 😊💕
@@lauryn9398 thank you Lauryn! I haven't actually started riding because horse riding ranches are not here :(
Hopefully I get to ride super soon!
Hey! This was a while ago, but yes that's a very good idea! It will make your stabilizer muscles and your core a lot stronger which is very important. Good luck finding a ranch if you haven't already
@@snail7333 thank you! And yes, I haven't found a ranch yet, all credit goes to this pandemic. Stay safe, healthy, and happy!
@@wonnieshomie 3 months found one yet? Hoping you have! Keep exercising its going to help so much I promise your trainer will be so impressed you started exercising a whole year before even starting to ride, good luck finding a barn if u haven’t!

literal definition of 'you dont realise how long a minute is until you're excercising':
I'm going to the barn today I will do this
Also just a good work out in general
🏋🏽♀️🔥
Thnx I want to be in a competition and I want to practice more
Hi please can you tell me where to find the PDF of the exercises in this video? It was great by the way and just a good length thank you
Just what I've been searching for! This is awesome!
Would you suggest that I do this every other day, that way those muscles can rest up?
Today was the first time that I've attempted this. I'm used to doing a plank, so I've just went right to doing the full arm version. You feel this for sure on the core (and the wrists).
That’s awesome Rob👍
I feel your pain with the planks!
Keep up the good work 😀
Hello thanks for the great video Should I do this exercises everyday?
Hi😀
You can do them every day. I currently do them 4 times a week. I have found that to be the most beneficial to my riding.
My legs have been like jelly all day now 😂
Great exercises, so hate the plank😂
I feel your pain sister 😂
I luv how she pronounces posture as pastare🤣
Rode for the first time in awhile yesterday but since I'd been doing these no worries about sore muscles! I do have a question though, how would you go about building up to a full plank and a plank with shoulder taps, would slowly do it for longer and longer to built up strength?
Hi😊
I’m so glad the video has been a help!
I started with a modified plank on my knees. Once I could hold this position easily for 2 to 3 minutes I moved up to a full plank. If you can hold a full plank for one minute I would start incorporating shoulder taps. Start with 6 and work your way up to 20.
Keep up the good work 💕🐎
Nice!! Are comfortable breeches for workout?
Yes:) I love my Carrot breeches 💕
So comfortable😊
Does this only benefit for horseriding or does it for other things?
What barn do you go to? Just wondering because it looks like my cousins barn.
Lyla said that it was hard!🥵
Hello, i find it hard to understand how to fix stifle to get into the right posture. If i see my picture i look like sort ng on a chair, legs forward non-aligned with head and hip. :( And also how can i know how tight should the rien be?
It is my 3rd day at riding and i have never done riding before. I am trying too hard to get in the right posture while keeping my legs close enough to the horse.
Can someone give me some tips please!
I grew up on a farm and started riding at 1 or 2, the last time I properly rode was possible 2015, I used to ride western and a little bit of some English but mostly western, in August I went to see my gelding and rode one of the barn ponies instead (Mountain/cob i think she was) and the only tack they have their was English, we moved up north 5 years ago now, and if I ever go riding again (I will soon) its most likely going to be English but I struggle ALOT.
When riding English i have alot of trouble keeping my foot in the stirrups and my foot always comes out, I can't seem to lean back properly without falling or something, im sat hunching over and I desperately need some tips on how to stay and ride a bouncy horse please, any tips will be usefull!
Hi😀
