    I did hear from somewhere that Leatherman can cancel orders for their Garage series releases if the buyer has a traceable history of buying just to resale at an exaggerated price. If this is true, THANK YOU LEATHERMAN and any other manufacturer/maker that can do this! I truly hope you get your issues with Leatherman resolved, and thanks for the videos!

      @@hvacbudget8600 ,not sure where you live but if you live here in Sevierville,Tn,I suggest stopping in at Smokey Mountain knife works store, they have a Leatherman booth,they literally have everything there,if not they can order it for you an have it shipped to your door.

    I wonder what is going on at Leatherman. They haven’t been going to trade shows, haven’t produced new tools and aren’t in very many brick and mortar stores.

      I think Leatherman still has fantastic tools. I think the scarce labor market has hit even companies like Leatherman really hard. That is probably the root cause along with soaring inflation.

      Brick and mortar stores are busy selling inferior tools at a slightly lower price and a much larger profit margin.
      Leatherman is alive and well.

    I'm fed up with getting an email that something is back in stock and it being sold out by the time check it out less than an hour later. I refuse to buy from scalpers and Leatherman won't be getting my money anymore until they can have a reliable stock on hand.

    It sounds more likely their website wasn't working properly (possibly down to black Friday and an underpowered web server) and they're just making excuses .

    Why would you even want to continue to buy from Leatherman directly after that? You would be paying full retail price from them and there must e countless vendors of Leatherman in the USA that would be more than happy to deal with you and offer you a discount price.

      I will see what happens. Leatherman many times has discounts and specials during the year. Many times they are far cheaper than Amazon or at least Ebay if you buy direct. But you are right there are several other sites that seem very user friendly.

      Because the website sometimes run discounts and it's cheaper than buying from a seller who bought it discounted to charge quadruple. I can't stand people who buy deals just to rip off others later.

    🤔 well, that definitely rates a 9.0 on the weird-$h1t-o’meter!
    I’ve never heard of that happening like that even WITH an alert.
    Alerts like that are usually on a card, not an individual, but they seem to have it on your Leatherman data in their system. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      It is wierd. I specifically asked the representative is it just a card locked or will anything connected to my name or email be restricted. She claimed anything connected to me was restricted due to some disputed charge I have no clue about.

    I called Leatherman yesterday because I purchased the Juice XE6 on 10\23 and wanted to see if they would honor the price difference since I bought it at full price and now it's 50% off 30 days later. They told me that they don't do that but I could ship the one I purchased back and buy it again at the discounted price and get the refund. I ended up buying both Juice models and the CS4 I'm gifting to someone, but I've NEVER heard of the situation you experienced. Sounds a little sus to me especially if you used a different account to make a purchase. Might have to go to a retail store like Lowe's if they have they model you're looking for.

      I still am not allowed to buy any products off of the Leatherman website. I'm not even completely sure why. Their answers are vaguely that I didn't pay for something I never bought. Wierd.

    I would like to offer a different thought to ask why you couldn't purchase. I would start with your computer or whatever device you are using to make the purchase. This sounds like your web certificates are not up to date. If it is a computer, make sure the time and date are correct. Also make sure your browser is up to date. Or even try a different browser. Make sure your computer is also up to date with all of its updates. Try to make the purchase on your phone. Or if it's your phone you are using, try a computer.

      Good tips. Unfortunately my in laws tried to order for me yesterday with nothing similar to my account. They were denied as well but they got a welcome email. A bit odd.

      Good to know. I've tried buying myself and my in-laws tried and it rejected both times. I bought from SOG with no issues at all. Still waiting to hear back from Leatherman almost a week later no answer yet. We'll see what happens.

      My wife and I have the same credit card account unfortunately so that didn't seem to work. I may see if my in laws can order some tools for me tomorrow. We'll see if that works.

      Supposedly I have shorted Leatherman by refuting credit card charges But I never knew anything like this happened. We'll see.

      @@hvacbudget8600 good luck with it. After not really buying Leatherman’s I have been but will be out some models or some of add on’s like the bit kit (1) and you have to wait for months. Then everyone talks about the sheath’s they like SOG & Gerber are all nylon unless you pay extra for for the leather sheath and Leatherman’s are all nylon too unless you buy their overpriced leather sheaths. At least with Gerber you can get the multi tool, tool kit and leather sheath already made up in package. I always laugh when people say that whatever multi tool comes with a nylon sheath saying like it’s a bad thing when all nylon. Then their price’s for extension, ratchet and bits are over priced. For any multi tool I make a kit with a small ratchet, extension, bit set and a knife. All which cost less then Leatherman ratchet.

    I’ve been frustrated lately as well. I ordered a custom rebar and they only did one side. Had to send pictures of it. Then send it in and a close to three weeks later I got it back. They are slow to respond to e-mails

    Thats not good. In the end, they're gonna lose customers if they dont get their quality control and customer service right because not only are cheaper clones coming out, Leatherman keeps blasting off msrp especially for flawed designs like the free p4. Its gonna bite back at the butt.

    leatherman is the worst company ever to be they have no idea how to run a company not to mention they have no idea how to listen to there customers wants and needs plus they discontinue the tools everyone wants and over produces tools that everyone has already or they just dont want it

    Will I broke down bought the Juice and another bit set. $24 for the bit set I think is a great deal. The Juice on the other hand feels kinda cheap the tools are fairly hard to get out and not really what you think of Leatherman quality. The corkscrew to use it you need to open the tool opposite of the way it opens are it won’t open all the way. Am I ever going to use the corkscrew no but engineering is bad engineering. The Awl is not very good, the scissors I have seen better on Chinese multi tools and some of Gerber’s, the blade is too notch and all the tools are hard to open and use the same for putting them away. I bought the Rev brand new and was let down by it I put it on eBay sold it for more than I paid. I will carry in my pocket for a couple weeks if I still feel the same it will go to eBay for sale. A lot of people talked the Juice up and now I bought it I am not sure.

      @@hvacbudget8600 too bad, I live in Colombia and used to order all my 3 leathermans from their website, last one on january.
      Now everytime I try to purchase they just reverse the money to my card after some 5 minutes and the order changes to " failed" no matter which card I use.
      And they are dreaming if theythink I'm going to buy from their local distributor here.. ( some guy with an email not even a website) and all prices like 40% more.

    💬here's a thought,, maybe it's Devine intervention.. one of those mysterious things that just happens without rhyme or reason that just can't be explained away.. one of those things that alteres ones coarse that would have led to a tragedy. Maybe there's a leatherman angel that looking out for you. Could be a leatherman hoarder fairy 🧚‍♀️ that's looking out for your wife or entire family?!?. What if it was a wish and it came true!??!?. Maybe it's a sign!!!!. Not to speak out of term, but how many leatherman do you have, how many multitools? How much of your life is devoted. This shouldn't be labeled a crisis by no means... are you not able to just let it go, maybe you should seek professional help... could it simply be leatherman?!.

    I've banned myself from buying Leathermans. One of my Crunch's handle broke (while mending my motorcycle after a fall) and while the local distributor hasn't answer my email, Leatherman did eventually gratified me with an answer but just to let me know that they will not sell me a replacement handle. So hello SOG/Gerber/etc.

      Usually Leatherman replaces tools no questions asked from what I understood. That's a bad situation if they won't repair the tool.

      @@pinkhelmet2 Their warranty was great both times I've used it. Both times I simply mailed them out and they shipped me a new one in a couple weeks. The Crunch is also held together with rivets, so it would be hard to fix yourself

    No sir can't say I've ever had this problem with Leatherman but on a need to know basis,I only ordered on bit kit an that was it cause there site needs improvement like in the customization on your multitool menue after selecting certain things you want done,it would freeze on me on my phone,I'd have to exit out an then go back to the site,it was getting to be a pain in the ass,anyway, when I wanted an got my surge,I just ordered from ebay,I waited too long an they sold the solid black coated one,an the two tone color one,so only option was stainless which is ok,has been a trooper of a tool in my edc since I've had it,I do want to have another one eventually an charge tti,surge I'd like coated with a American flag on it with the punisher skull on there,I saw a guy on here with his like that,he had taken the scissors of the stainless version to put on his custom one so he broken scissors on his stainless to send in because he'd done modifications, Leatherman wouldn't honor the warranty to fix or replace it,so he sent in the stainless to have scissors fixed while he got new scissors from his stainless model, which I thought was generous, that way he still had his tool while one went back for repairs if that makes sense,that sucks that Leatherman banned you.

    I called them to resolve an issue with a Supertool 300M had been put together incorrectly. The one they sent me didn’t have 8-32 threads in the plier head, instead it was the standard head. I can tell you that experience was a nightmare and had to call back 3 times and 3 emails to finally get the right tool. They told me I didn’t understand where the threads were supposed to be and referenced your video on the issue. I responded by telling them that your video was the one that convinced me to buy it …and they should watch it and look at the tool they sent me. Then they told me it was a “rolling change” multiple times and didn’t buy it and asked if the would please send me the tool in the correct configuration in a letter to them with the tool I sent back. All in all I think I’m done with Leatherman for a while and need a break from the “woke” website that they have. It’s clear that they are not training their employees on product line and instead of fixing issues they tried to make excuses to make me go away.

      I made a mistake on the video I was referring to. Texas tool crib made a video on the ST300M and after watching it I decided to purchase it from them. Just thought I would clarify that. I do appreciate your videos and enjoy your straight forward videos.

      @@ericjohnson5479 I do think some of the colour schemes are... diffrent. I always figured they were trying to target more of the female hikers and kids for the signal. I was gunna get a green/teal for my boy since green is his favorite colour and something red for my other son.
      If I grew a man bun it would make me look like a pedo since it would be a skullet man bun!!!

      @@Mikey-ym6ok just to make it clear victorinox has solid products: well lubed, no wiggles, knife is super sharp, awl is actually really pointy, scissors cut. Everything locks well etc. Leatherman has the one hand opening but other than that, all the tools in the multi tool are much lower quality than the victorinox. The brand managers of victorinox are some of the worst though while the workers some of the best.
