Nice! Another trick also, is to add a delay on each busses like a pre-delay before going into the reverb send. This gives it a spatial illusion that makes the listener think the band is indeed playing in that room in different positions. Warren Huart showed it before too, it’s pretty cool. Thanks for the video!
I believe you are the first to show how to properly use plugins that emulate real spaces in a musical concept. I use a couple extra tricks to move them around the space. Great tip and IK needs to commission you to make a demo video selling the product.
Totally agree with the sentiments of @MarvelJam … I only found your channel yesterday and I’ve learned a lot from just the two videos I’ve watched so far. Thank you, subscribed!
You just brought me to a decision about which reverb Im buying, and solved a series of other problems I was having too. Thank you for this awesome video
This is the best video I’ve ever seen for mixing in my home “music room,” bar none. I already owned the plugin, but didn’t know this approach. Thank you!
Sounds very nice indeed. One thing I was wondering is if there's an advantage of leaving the DRY signal of this plugin at full level. Maybe I'm missing something but especially on a send, I'd have thought to make that bus WET only. Cheers!
I’m watching this because I’m just about to make a demo of the Sunset Reverbs recently added to MixBox. Am now fascinated with this plugin and I think I’m going to have to look at this next. :)
These plugins ares so cool, and make mixes sound really lively. I use the UAD Ocean Way on almost every track I mix. It's like putting the band IN that studio, it's quite amazing.
If the plugin is in a send, should the dry signal in the plugin be muted? That’s what I usually do, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing after seeing you have the dry signal at full volume.
So I want to check the "Sunset Studio Software out to incorporate it with my other DAWs. The reason why is that I like the quality of the sound & the Plugin that you demonstrated on this UA-cam Channel, and I think it may be a better fit for me to produce my kind of genre "Alternative Funk/Rock music. So do you have any recommendations🤔?
Great video but one question, this may be genre specific (dance music), but would u then high pass the reverb to prevent muddiness in the lower frequencies?

Glad it helped! Thanks for your support
Cool video. I recorded in studio 1 at Sunset in August. This plugin grabs a lot of the mojo in that studio. I dig this channel!
Great to hear!
I already tend to save a lot of processing for the bus stage...this approach is going even further. Nice idea.
Thanks for watching!

Not sure. I would have to try that
Looks like the solo is engaged on the wet fader.

Thnaks for watching!
Best presentation of Sunset Sound I've seen so far.
Wow, thanks!

Agreed! I used the Ocean Way for years prior to Sunset Sound. Its Great!
Subscribed and ordered from your link. thanks for a great video!
Awesome! Thank you!
Hi mate, thanks for another great video. Very late to the party, but how do you feel about this plugin 2 years on? Are you still using it? Cheers!
Yes I am! I use it all the time
Good point about feeling without hearing too much. I think I will get this reverb plug-in it sounds good!!!
Be sure to use the link in the description :)

There are many ways to use this plugin and there is no "right" way. So, if the way you are using it sounds good to you then it is good.
Wow !! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Man, what a cool track! very Inspiring 🙂
Thanks for listening
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy Your Welcome 🙂👍

Nice skills man
Thanks very much!!
Use the same technique but i use EastWest Spaces 2, keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Great video but one question, this may be genre specific (dance music), but would u then high pass the reverb to prevent muddiness in the lower frequencies?
you could but I dont use that much reverb to hear a difference. I use reverb very subtle
Thanks Dave Great tips I have this plugin and will really dig it now,,,,,,
Thanks my friend!!
Do you High Pass the Reverb Send?
not usually
I've been using sunset because it's a powerful reverb.
It is good for that as well. I occasionally use it for reverb on instruments as well.
How would you compare this to Waves CLA Epic? Do you high pass after this plugin ? Thanks a lot for your vids.
Not even remotely the same type of plugin in my opinion.
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy How do you mean? Do you HPF this? Thx ps love the SSL Space Ship Orion!
There's an in-built HPF in the plugin so no need to if you want to cut any lows out of the wet signal.
Looking forward to it!
Thanks!
Wow! That's nice!
Thanks!
Why Pre-fader?
Reverb is usually post fader. I may have mis-spoke. however you can do either
Oooh, tasty!
Oh yes!
