I love this plugin so much! Something that I found strange though is with the "Width" control. I'm mixing acoustic "Gypsy Jazz" and am panning the two rhythm guitars hard left and right. While soloing each of the rhythm guitars, I realized that zero signal or reverb reflection was coming out of the opposite monitor... I thought something was wrong as this wasn't the case with my Inspirata reverb (to the point that I t did a re-install of the Sunset Sound Reverb). When I backed the width off of 100%, it begins to come in - making it sound "wider" which was counter-intuitive for me. So, it seems that if you sent two L&R guitars to a bus and had your width up all of the way, the reverb for each would only stay on their respective sides - which is unnatural as you would hear reflections from both sides. Is that how you use it (at 100%)? And, if so, is there a reason (sounds less muddy, for example)? Now, if you don't pan 100% left or right this isn't an issue. Eddie Van Halen's iconic sound from the early records was recorded at SS and the guitar was hard-panned to one side while the chamber was in stereo. You wouldn't be able to obtain that sound with the width at 100% in this plugin (all signal would disappear out of the opposite speaker), you would dial it to "0". Is this strange (or am I)? Thanks, Uncle Dave!
I’m considering this but I just do simple acoustic and vocals. Would it work well for that? Also is it best applied to each track or on the master channel ie across all track. PS can’t wait for the videos on T-Racks as there is nothing out there to the standard you just did. One good thing about IK is they will promote your videos on their social media
Great video :-) i have a question >>> If you use the sends to go to the reverb bus, how many dB are you sending to the reverb bus? Is this different for each track?
Personally, I set the send level to 0db and then use the fader on the reverb track to adjust how much I want. If you are into learning mixing check this out. www.mixingmadeeasy.net
Great videos! I recently purchased T Racks 5 - love them. How did you get the actual graphic of the plug in to appear in your Studio One Browser? That would be really helpful. Cheers!
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy thank you, that helped me a lot to save some time. Nevertheless, this plugin sounds awesome. With a small slap delay in front you should be able to achieve additional depths perception to place the source in a mix. Cheers
Its a stand alone....not part of the bundle. However, that could change so check their website for the current deals and pricing. It is pretty heavy on the CPU but its not terrible. You could use a couple of instances in a session with no issues.
They are similar but they have a different sound to them. I really wanted to love Sunset Sound and it's OK but I honestly like Ocean Way better but if you don't have UA hardware this is a decent substitute.
👏🏻Excellent👍🏻
Having been to Sunset Sound myself, I' buying this one now ❤️🔥
Enjoy!
How do I setup my profile page in studio one 4.

NICE!

I’m curious. I’m going to be using this and/or fame within logic. Do you have any idea how much of a ram hog the plugin is?
its very light. You should not have any issues

search UA-cam. I dont know how to easily describe it here
Thank you for the video - how does this reverb do in comparison to MeldaProduction MTurboReverb Reverb ? Thanks
No idea, never tried that reverb
Nice reverb ik multimedia bundle is good
I am excited to check out their other plugins. Their Tape machines are up next on my list
Hi. Thank you for the interesting video review. I didn't figure out how to manipulate the early reflection. It's this possible?
Unfortunately not

Plates, Springs and Live rooms. Is this part of a bundle package or a stand alone suite and how heavy is the CPU hit?

how does it compare to UA's ocean?
Very similar.....either or would work for me

It is only an urban legend that the quality of music is degraded by the similar level of reverb product company
Buy it this sale period just $35
hi Dave have you done any other T Racks reviews since this one?
Not yet....coming soon.
