This dude keeping the 80s alive
The Weird Paul real name is John Doe like you!
My favorite 80s movie is The Breakfast Club.
Popeye, Karate Kid II, Star Wars, Star Trek II, Back to the Future, Rocky IV, Ghostbusters, The Jerk, E.T., Napolean Dynamite
hands down back to the future is my #1 80's movie
Return Of The Living🧟♀️Dead is very frickin' scary...🤘🏼💯✔️
Stripes was good. Also Revenge of the Nerds, Creepshow, Time Bandits..these movies framed my childhood.
Goonies, The Empire Strikes Back, Glory, Platoon, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Porkys, back to the future, the shining, the blues brothers, Smokey and the bandit 2,
The Shining hands down my favorite 80's movie
Enemy Territory. An insurance salesman being chased by a street gang in an apartment complex. Great cast, too.
Airplane! is my favorite comedy, Empire Strikes back is my favorite Sci fi, Poltergeist 2 is my favorite horror movie
No "Back To The Future???" "That is WIIIIYLD!"
Pee Wee's Big Adventure would be my favorite. Followed closely by Back to the Future
Yes, The man with 2 brains is one my all time favs. Also Return of the living dead could be the best zombie movie ever, except maybe Braindead. Nice list Paul
Good list! My favorite 1980s movie is probably Stanley Kubrick's The Shining from 1980.
Dude, you are one badass dude. The Thing is my favorite 80s movie, it's genius. Okay, gotta add Back to the Future (only the 1st one), and Indiana Jones (only the first one).
Back to the future would be on my list.
You, sir, are a true child of the 80’s
Great movies all. My list would surely have The Three Amigos and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
This film from 1984 is not only my fave 80s film but is also tied with it's 1991 sequel as my All-Time Fave films. The Terminator. ❤❤❤
My list would have to include Back to the Future, Terminator, Brazil, Robocop, the Karate Kid, Goonies, Ghostbusters, Teen Wolf, Fanny and Alexander, and maybe The Mutilator
Mr Mom is my favorite 80's movie. Great List btw, Paul. I love all those movies, too.
It was a crime there were not more Ted Knight/Rodney Dangerfield movies. Every line from Caddyshack is quotable. My favorite line was from Judge Smails (Ted Knight) when he found Danny with Laci up in his bedroom: “Oh HOOO-ohh!”
Those are all great, but Bill Lustig's Maniac is my favorite film of the 1980s.
Great list, eh. My list would include Escape from New York, The Thing, Strange Brew, Caddyshack, Heavy Metal, The Terminator, Once Upon a Time in America, A Christmas Story, Blade Runner and, of course, This is Spinal Tap.
Omg how did i forget the Thing
The Cannonball Run is in my top 5 as well.
Mine is "Miracle Mile," by the guy who was directing and co-wrote one of your faves ("Strange Brew") until creative disagreements led to his departure. "Miracle Mile" is jockeying with two other films for my favorite movie, period.
1. National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983)
2. Goonies (1985)
3. Moving (1988)
4. Predator (1987)
5. Robocop (1987)
6. River’s Edge (1986)
7. Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
8. Empire Strikes Back (1980)
9. Scarface (1983)
10. The Last Dragon (1985)
I picked only movies that weren’t on your list, which was top-notch, Weird Paul
Edit: Also, this is impossible. After submitting my homework to Mr. Weird Paul, I realized that I left Terminator, The Shining, Repo Man, Die Hard, Back to the Future, Colors, Death Wish III, Uncle Buck, Summer Rental, Police Academy 2, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, Thrashin, Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Valley Girl, and so many more off of the list. Those could easily be my favorites.
Эти фильмы уже оцифрованы? Качество их улучшено?
I've seen almost all of these at the theater. Another one is Poltergeist. For the time, it was pretty good. And of course, The Thing.
Fantastic list Paul
I love 80s movies as well and the goonies is one of my all time favorites
Fright Night!
Chris Sarandon wished me a happy birthday on Cameo by the request of my friend! He's still handsome too.

More Vlogs please, you are missed !😊
i think i’d be torn between Fletch and Vacation. having said that am I the only one who feels we really missed out on not having a Pee-wee’s Big Adventure-like movie starring Paul?
Great list! Blade Runner is my fav movie of all time.
Big trouble in little china a close 2nd
Empire strikes back also amazing!
Field of Dreams my fav Baseball movie of all time
Hi WPaul. Great list. It includes many of my faves. Looked over the comments too, A lot of good ones. My personal favorites include any movie w 80s fashion such as Pretty Woman or Steel Magnolias. We dressed like that?? And also any NYC movie that has to scan the skyline and see the twin towers just so people know they are in NY. Like seeing the Effiel Tower, Big Ben or the Golden Gate Bridge in films just cuz.
Strange brew . I have that on VHS 😊
escape from new york could be made as a true story today. I remember a movie "prophecy" i think? A guy was hopping away in a sleeping bag, and the creature swiped at him, and feathers were everywhere. My memory may not be 100%
ALL bangers. Can't argue that list, though I might put SPIES LIKE US in there.👍
I have to watch Escape from New York. I wonder if the plot of the movies fits with what I'd happening in NYC.
Stand By Me is one of my favorites.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Good choices! Ever heard of the 1985 Japanese food based comedy, “Tampopo”?
Probably Clue, or Better Off Dead
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The first three Star Wars movies were masterpieces. I am still afraid to watch the rest of the Disney Star Wars films. I've seen The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones in the movie theater, but I was very disappointed.
The force Awakens brought back some of that oldschool vibe. I really enjoyed it
@@coolbluelights Thanks for this information. I'll give Star Wars a new chance. ;) Can I watch that one without seeing other ones first?
I remember watching Phantom Menace at the theater, and was befuddled when I saw the ridiculous chase scene where they were jumping from the flying cars. It's the first time I believe anything so far fetched and ridiculous like that was ever in a serious major film, at least that I had seen. It was so totally unbelievable, just the mechanics of it especially when taking into consideration the first 3 films where nothing even remotely close to being as ludicrously beyond the scope of realism had occurred, that I lost interest in the rest of the film after that. I tried to watch the next 2 films, but it was more of the same inside of a boring cartoon soap opera, that I just couldn't get into either of them. I haven't tried watching any of the movies since, and don't plan to. I can't even watch the originals since Lucas decided to change them, ironically, hypocritically, right after he went to court to fight studios colorizing old black and white films. Yes, George Lucas, the guy who altered...err I mean "updated", his first 3 films, literally spearheaded the death of colorization of black and white films, and argued against altering older films in general, then alters his own so that future generations will never know that HAN SHOT FIRST! There, I got that off my chest.
@@SquirrelMonkeyCom Yeah I think so. i've seen every star wars film in theater. Rogue squadron was pretty good too
1. Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (I wanted to cheat since I consider them one story)
2. Tron
3. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
4. Back to the Future Trilogy (technically part iii came out in 1990, but whatever)
5. The Thing
6. Robocop
7. Indiana Jones Trilogy
8. Inseminoid (guilty pleasure of mine)
9. Blade Runner
10. Friday the 13th Part III
Honorable Mentions: Project A-ko, The Last Starfighter, Aliens, Spookies, Savage Streets, The Burning, Forbidden World, Macross: Do You Remember Love, Ghostbusters, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and many, MANY MORE!
Friday the 13th part 3 is my favorite of the series, too. I caught it on cable in the summer of 1984 as a rising 2nd grader lol. Jason vs Bikers ❤️. Ali gave him a decent fight.
Good choices!!!

Back to the Future
Ghostbusters
Fright night
Fast times at ridgemont high
Beverly Hills cop
Planes trained and automobiles
Return of the Jedi
The flight of the navigator

I love 1985’s Horror-Comedy movie, Return of the Living Dead, but I prefer Day of the Dead from that year because it’s got plenty of killer one-liners that have me dying of laughter, every time!!!!!!!!! Gotta say, my favorite Zombie movie is 2004’s Shaun of the Dead. I’m a HUGE fan of Zombieland 1 & 2 and cannot wait for the 3rd sequel to come out!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t have a top 10 list, but my #1 favorite 1980s movie is Gothic from 1986. Another hilarious movie I’m surprised didn’t make your list is Bachelor Party……also…….tell me now, Weird Paul…..who doesn’t remember Porky’s, and I’m talking about Porky’s uncut!!!!!!!! You gotta be friggin kidding me, man!!!!!! No Porky’s?!?!?! What about Fright Night?? Night of the Creeps?? No cute Gremlins?? HELLRAISER!!!!!!!!!!! YES!✊🏻 This is Spinal Tap?? (“As long as I’ve got the sex and drugs, I can live without the rock n’ roll.”) LOOOLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!😆😆😂🤣 Or how about Silent Night, Deadly Night??? ‘70s Black Christmas?? There’s more Horror, like Suspiria, but I know you want ‘80s so…. Dolls from 1986, which I HIGHLY recommend to all toy collectors out there!!!!!! Trick or Treat from the same year, and don’t get me started!!!!!! Killer Klowns From Outer Space?!?! The Lost Boys!!!!! No wholesome Child’s Play and Chopping Mall?!?! Last but not least, 1984’s Desperately Seeking Susan starring Madonna, where I said to myself, my first stop in the Lower East Side is Love Saves the Day!!!!!!!!!! I became a loyal customer, ever since…. P.S. I forgot to include Night of the Demons, complete with a Bauhaus music excerpt scene and lastly, early ‘90s Mirror Mirror, starring a mysterious and obscure, Gothic styled Rainbow Harvest - I love that name, btw - somewhere in my ramble!!!!!!! P.P.S. THE EVIL DEAD!!!!!!!!! And etc., etc., AND etc.😱😃P.P.S. AMADEUS!!!!!!!! A masterpiece movie, Amadeus is.
Yo Paul, have you seen the BMX movie called "RAD" ? Also there's this movie called "Teen Witch".

Nice choices! And yes, I agree with you that return of the Jedi is the best of the Star Wars movies
U needed Karate Kid and Back to the Future, also u picked the worst of the Star Wars films
There are only two Star Wars movies in the 80’s and ESB doesn’t have a good ending.
Lost Boys
