  • Welcome back everyone, today I present you my first game with the other new division we got in the last patch, 35th Infantry Division. Being a National Guard Div, almost all of their units come with the "Reservist" trait, but they are also fairly cheap and have some cool unique units. My enemy is playing the 56ya VDV, which got a pretty nice buff. I had to learn the hard way about it. Hope you enjoy!

Yeah the SARH missiles in the game don't lose track unless the plane dies or is stunned. Otherwise the plane shooting it can be pointing completely the opposite direction and they still track. It's weird but honestly with how low the range on most of the missiles in game are if they couldn't do that there would probably be fighters flying into the enemy AA and dying every time you tried to intercept anything.
Against the 1 armor command truck you can do 1 damage to it using the satchels, but you need to fire position on it. If you hit it It should do damage though, or at least rout it if you hit enough.

You are right about the SARH missiles, I just recently heard people claim they work as they do irl, meaning you need to keep contact. Which, to be fair, is also implied by the fact that there is a "fire and forget" trait specifically for IR-missiles and active radar, but not for SARH. So who knows...
Yeah I know satchels will do damage, you can even see the command being damaged, but obv I wanted to straight up kill it and not just damage it haha. Though you dont need to attack ground, my units did it auotmatically.

@@ethanfranklin5847 I have played it for years, but the more I learnt about history, the more I got estranged by the game. Especially with new DLC never actually imrpoving the game, just adding some nonsense alt-history to absolutely irrelevant countries of the timeframe. The fact that nothing in the game actually works, except for maybe land combat in Central Europe, is extremely sad, especially for someone who would like to do some naval strategy. I could ramble on about the million other things that are stupid, but alas.
Sad that paradox games in general seem to be less and less in-depth, but more „shiny textures“ and „press button for green number go up“

@@ethanfranklin5847 Oh it definitely is a lot of fun, but after playing paradox games extensively for years you kinda start seeing through the smoke screen. Until then the games are a blast
