I feel like the impact of such an intense game would be lessened somewhat by slowing down the victory point ticks. I wonder if a solution where they ticked slower in the early game, but then faster as the game progressed would work.

Wait so ECM isn't a flat reduction? It's a percentage of the percentage? I always thought that a missile with 50% accuracy shooting against a 50% ECM would have a 0% chance to hit? But your saying that a 50% ECM would turn the 50% missile accuracy into 24%??
Not saying your wrong, it just doesn't seem that way at all. Before they buffed the mig to 50% on the r37 it was at 40%. The f11 has 30% ecm and it sure as hell felt like the mig 31 would only hit 10% of the time.
Yes, all stat buffs and nerfs are multiplicative. Why things seem different is due to the following: A 50% chance missile from 50% ECM is reduced to 25% to hit, which is 75% chance to miss. Given 6 ammo, the probability to miss all given the opportunity to fire all 6 shots is: .75^6 = .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 = .178 So 82.2% chance to hit ONCE. Getting into chances to hit twice or thrice becomes more complicated. Feel free to google it. And this is just the pure mathematics. In actual programming floating point numbers are a nightmare and actually calculating .75^6 can return a range of results depending upon how it is programmed. (Full disclosure, .75^6 is an exception to the above, but .7^6 or .8^6 would hold true.) Hope this helps to explain the observed.
It’s because of the way the match is set up where either player could choose either side, so the color they get is random. In default matches where one side must be nato and one side must be pact, the colors are correct.
Good game great graphics shows capability of weapons and fun but not realistic. Tanks helos Bradley and infantry operate in sections, platoons and companies not as individual elements. That is weakness of this game. Artillery is fired to saturate and not take pot shots. Not realistic to period.
its a game lol. And yeah they operate not as individuals but how would you make a game than? How should a gamr reflect that? Its the player that chooses how to operate his units.
This game is so unrealistic with the m1a1 it's the best tank of all time it's so far ahead of any other tank on earth in real life the Abraham's has never been destroyed by enemy anti tank weapons, not a single one

The maps on every game like this look the exact same. Town town. Perfect square fields ect. World in conflict did this better along time ago
They are mapped using satellites so it's actually very accurate.
