- In this video, I'll share the top reasons why I decided to purchase my 2015 (B8.5) Audi RS5 Coupe. From the performance to design, I'll explain why the RS5 is the perfect used car to buy in 2024.
#2015 #audi #rs5
seeing someone talk about these things current day is great
I have a 2015 sepang blue, only done 40,000km. People think it's new, has not dated at all. Putting it in dynamic and flooring it is the single greatest feeling ever!
Amazing production and great narrating voice!!
I have a B8.5 Rs5 phantom black pearl effect with the black optics and carbon trim. Awe downpipe and capristo exhaust. Sounds crazy at high revs. So fun to drive. Love the car.
Ah! I’m hoping to get a capristo exhaust soon
Proud owner of the red one. Never letting her go.
Whats the maintenance like??? I recently turned 21 and moving soon. Never needed a car since i worked across the street. I really want one as my first car.
@@Kingdoperks regular annual maintenence is pretty much the same as a4 or a6. Drinks a lot more fuel though. Brake pads and tyres are expensive but they last long.
Only the dsg related issues are very expensive to fix if they arise.
Nothing actually matters when you let the glorious v8 sing past 5k rpm all the way to the redline.
@@crossplanev8 thank you so much 💙, Im simply scared of the gas consumption cause if its too much Ill sadly might go for the S5 2013-2015
@@Kingdoperks it does 26mpg while touring. 12mpg in the city with some playing around.
The steering feels weird though… I just recently picked up a built 13 S5, and love everything except the steering feel. It’s not bad at all, but feels like a gaming wheel
Good work on the video… you can tell a lot of time was put into it. Keep going
Great car, I always keep an eye out to upgrade the S5 but at that price we’re in M2/M4 territory so it’s a tough decision
Great info on the different packages.
Glad it was helpful!
absolute banger video. I hope to have this beast one day
Great review and being real. It’s good to hear from owners
i like watching these videos while my car is in the shop with a broken valve spring .... :) go with capristo exhaust system
😂
VERY BEAUTIFUL CAR, IVE BEEN IN ONE
This is a fire video bro. love my rs5
Eventually gonna buy one hard to find them low miles here in the pnw
I've done a res delete and silencer delete on my 2014 RS5 - So much nicer and raspier.
So how much did you pay for it this year, is it 41k?
I paid $37,800 for it
you didnt really mention this but 2015 is the ONLY year the 4.2 is available on these facelift models. i currently have a 2012 s5 with the 4.2 and i wish i had a facelift s5 but no v8 is a dealbreaker for me.
Are you talking about the S5? Because the 4.2 was available from 2013-2015 for the RS5 in the US.
What do you do for work boss?
UI/UX Design or Product Design
beautiful
Lame. 😂
and you drive.. what?
I’ve had my 2015 Sepang Blue RS5 since 2018 now and it is truly an amazing car. These will be a future classic for sure.
Agreed! 💯
The audi RS5 2012-2016 RS5 V8 is the last of the beautiful Audis
Think only until 2015
Love the v8 RS5, especially that engine! Did you consider any others in that category like M3, C63, or RCF?
yea, I used to have an M3. Loved it but wanted to switch it up and get something with a V8. Not the biggest fan of the RCF and C63
I copped a 2015 a few months back. Best decision, a third of msrp, 70k miles, everything working. It’s a sleeper, timeless look and amazing engine. You don’t see any of these around. Might keep it forever 😂
Such a good looking design
I've got 8 cars (after selling 4 LOL) most of which are faster than this, but....I've been dreaming of grabbing one of these for months now! So gorgeous, timeless, and will hold their value now that they're fully depreciated. Similar to why I love my E39 M5.
Does anyone here have this RS5 with a SC kit? I know I want this V8 RS5 over the new 2.9 crap, but I know I'll want an SC kit and 600HP to stay "satisfied" with it when my slowest car is an Audi RS Etron GT lol.
Also, where's the best place to research all the potential issues ( to look for in maint history, like carbon buildup, or a sensor, etc) so I can be sure what I buy was well maintained and taken care of? Any good sites or lists of issues?
Thanks, really going to get serious this week and find a low mile one and just buy it already! LOL
Man, still my dream car. Thank you for such a great honest video. I couldn't agree more, future classic.
Had a 2014 B8.5 S5 for 3 years. These cars are timeless inside and out. Enjoy man!
Get an Eventuri Carbon Intake
Got mine few months back never want to stop driving after i get in . That v8 engine sound in dynamic is the best part of the ride
I sold my '15 Suzuka Gray 2 years ago and I miss it every day. :(
I ve got mine 4 years ago and I will never ever sell it unless its getting totaled :D
Was thinking of modifying it for a long time now, but it still has only 40k km on the clock so I'm hesitant...
P.S u rly don't need a radio in this car... and it puts a smile on ur face every time u start it ;)
I rly recommend this car, cuz it has this special feeling to it, like it has a soul and real identity. A perfect blend of new tech and old school mechanics, there is rly nothing else like it out there.
Also I think that the value will sky rocket in the upcoming years for sure! this is the last samurai guys :D and we are not getting anything like it ever again...
Btw it never broke down or anything and I drive it rly hard on daily basis, going 300km/h on the autobahn n stuff... so just get it till u can, cuz there s not a lot of them left out there!
I e owned mine for 5 years now and I still love it!
I have one cabriole Think tune or up grade many years but still normal and good to go
Andy japan said on of best production Audi made
If you can find one the Capristo Exhaust trumps all. Absolutely no drone in comfort and rips like no other when the flaps are open.
I have a RS5 B8.5 in sepang blue in the UK I agree they are a stunning vehicle from any angle. I’ve added some mods to mine that suit what I wanted from this timeless beautiful car. I upgraded to KW coilovers & this really increases the ride quality. I’ve replaced the air filters with K&N & had a stage 1 tune, it now has 525bhp & 530kn of torque. These figures are a result of a having a full service & fitting titanium plugs also before the tune. I ran it with an ECS XPipe first which was a great sound but gave too much cabin drone, so I swapped it for a Scorpion full system which gives a truly great bass sound without the drone. I’d recommend this option myself 👍
What stage 1 tune you running to get those numbers?
Bought my 2015 RS5 Cabriolet in 2021 and love it. Because it’s NA there aren’t much in the way of mods available. Exhaust is probably the primary mod and I plan to install one from AWE in the next few weeks. Enjoy your new ride!
Get the resonator delete it's about $400 and it keeps your stock mufflers. Still sounds very good .
Thanks for the suggestion! The goal is to get a capristo exhaust system but I’ve heard the resonator delete is the best bang for your buck. Def will keep it as a top option
@@ArnoldjchangI just did an ecs x pipe in place of the center res. Opens it up quite a bit, sounds pretty good but a bit raspy. I’m in the same boat as you, saving up for a capristo but the x pipe is definitely good bang for buck in meantime
Any future plans to upgrade the infotainment system? RSNav? Or keep it timeless?
I keep going back and forth. Right now no plans to upgrade it, I just use a magnetic phone mount for my phone
I have a mk7 gti an Audi might be next!
These have been a dream car of mine for the last few years now. I found a sepang blue one with an excellent service history for a price I couldn't refuse. The car arrived with a check engine light and timing codes. The codes cleared, it runs smooth, and drives well. I still get a warning to not exceed 6000 rpm if it's been sitting for several days. I get the feeling I'm not going to get to enjoy the car to its fullest until I save up enough to service the timing chain.
timing chain? probably the last thing it would be. start with VVT sensor or cam sensor. change oil 0W-40 or 5w-40 Audi 502 spec, check senor signal, check spark plugs, check coil packs, check motor mounts. you know the stuff that doesnt need an engine out check/repair. If timing is out thats not something to wait on and "just keep driving". seriously.
this car looks amazing in person. Way better then 99% of new cars
Agreed!
Such an amazing car, I’m in love with mine! I drove the new G80 M3 and even that felt boring compared to it
bought one a few months ago. there may be "better" options - but i would be kicking myself if i never got to own and enjoy one that was in good shape
Got one too, 2013! No major maintenance but regular oil change. I absolutely love it!
Love how this started 😅
Special car, i own an b8.5 S5... love it to bits...
Man that looks so sick - Very tempted to buy one myself but the cost of the brakes and tyres has me feeling nervous 😅 Congrats on the purchase though, such a timeless vehicle, it'll never go out of style!
Thanks! & yea general maintenance for this type of vehicle can be a lot
Man I love your car! I wish you many core memories with it!
Thank you!
This is some quality content
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Hey young man, great content. I just purchased a Audi A4 2013. I love it! Great looking car!
Why just get a 2021 2.9 for 54k?
I actually had one and it was a great car. But the 2.9 just can’t beat the sound and experience of the V8.
this's goat!!!!!
