I made this mistake. Start dating during the her divorce. It was a lot of fun, she was fixing me a lot of attention and was looking for fun. She was an old friend and as we had that old bond. She has two kids and her ex lives right down the road. Needless to say, after 6-7 months the fun started to fade. It was always about her kids and events and baseball games and family shit. I always felt like an escape for her and then I looked myself in the mirror and realized I wanted a woman that could prioritize me and she would never do that.
