  • How to stay motivated and taking action when life feels hopeless and like it will never work out for you.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a 28 year old viewer from Europe who has been following my work since 2017. He met his dream woman right before the lockdowns in 2020. He says he got lazy and complacent and stopped making her feel heard and understood and then lost her to another guy. 1 year later and he is struggling to find his motivation. He’s had a hard time since then. Lots of drugs and alcohol, feeling depressed and sleeping all day. He hasn’t met anyone who comes close to making him feel the way he did with his ex. He feels like it’s hopeless and he should just give up.

Corey, I wish you could have seen down the road that day looking up at the ceiling.... at my life, as it was coming apart, as my wife of 18 years was divorcing me. In my darkest hours of life I stumbled across a man name Corey Wayne. You changed the direction of my life forever. I can hardly believe what I see in the mirror today. The ex's eyes are alway full of regret, when I see her (we have kids), but I would not have found your work if it were not for that divorce.
I wish I could have been the man I am today for her when we were still married, but the past is behind me. My life is incredible now, and my future relationships will be amazing. Your "work" is flowing through me to the world.
    Thanks Corey,
    Wes

First real comment. This a great video but I'd like to offer advice. Finding hobbies like playing guitar, learning stocks and crypto, always have mystery to yourself and always be making that money, women and relationships can be expensive. Luckily, I'm with a woman who lived on the streets with me for a few years and she was willing to do her part and holding signs, pretending to be pregnant, canning. We were a team then and now we have a home and we're an even bigger team

@Nana Kwame there was a time when things were not going so well but it was actually because of my own insecurities and feeling like I had BPD all the time like I was going to be abandoned and then I listen to the book 50 times and I started applying those materials to my relationship it took a few weeks for her to finally believe me but now she seems she is in her feminine and I am back in my masculine and we are doing great. Thank you for the reply

Really appreciated the personal aspect of this advice and how you yourself went through hard times. It adds so much credibility to what you're saying. It's helpful to know that these struggles are universal and spare no one, even someone as wise and adept as you. It makes me want to try even harder. I think this is one of the best videos I've ever seen on this topic. I feel much better than before I started. Thank you.

I reasonated in so many ways with the guy who sent the email as well as coach's experience. It's at times of ambiguity and uncertainty where we have to let our drive, our character and our principles to guide us. To believe and work towards our goals/ dreams when we aren't feeling motivated, happy or worthy
keep fighting the good fight fellow comrades!

Thanks coach, great video and really helps with the situation I'm going through. My wife left me 2 months ago after basically doing the same things this guy did. Read the book 7 years ago and forgot everything I had learned. Got stuck in a job that while good paying did not drive or motivate me and that affected all aspects of my life. Slowly trying to pull myself out of the hole I dug and some days are better than others but just trying to keep pushing forward.

After several financial 'disasters', the end of a 40 year marriage, and a few short failed relationships I find myself in my mid 60s running around waiting tables, like Corey did in his 30s, just to survive. "Slept with 7 different women since the break up" - oh, you poor thing.
Sounds like he just needs some perspective and gratitude for what he does have. The illusion of "the one" gets people fixated on negatives when they're surrounded by a sea of positives and possibility.

Thanks for your story, coach. Was not aware you were in a situation like that at age 35-39.
Currently I am redefining my own mission in life, and there are days that feel empty or pointless. Nevertheless, I discipline myself to grow as a 3% man, workout, invest, and learn something new everyday.
I am not at the point where I want to be in life, but at least I am on my way. That takes effort and courage, which by itself feels empowering. Inaction feels awful

It's a humbling experience. Been there done that. I had to completely rebuild my life twice. The first time was the worst as I was broke when I started my first business. After becoming successful with that business I closed up shop and started another business. I had money this time but it almost broke me physically and mentally. That's my last new business maybe. I'm getting better. Failure is a great teacher and motivator. Thanks for your work.

Women require so much more maintenance than us guys do. They're always chasing butterflies. It can be exhausting honestly. This is why lots of guys are just stepping away from dating all together.

    • @Tyler-qw8kn
      @Tyler-qw8kn 2 роки тому

@@timgibney5590 I absolutely don't agree with a lot of red pill stuff, but the whole constant courtship and dating them is absolutely them want that "Spark/butterflies". Us guys really don't need that shit. We're far more simple. Keeping a woman happy is like having a 2nd job. Hell it's a 3rd job if you have the kids. I've fallen on hard times a few times and my life and have lost my partner almost every time. Of course I stuck around when they were having hard times, but it's hardly ever been reciprocated. I understand that that's just the way it is and sometimes it just gets old after a while.

But after I kicked her out I got very sad and depressed and had to put that into energy with the gym, stocks, business, career etc. Take the time to heal, get right with the big man upstairs and focus not being idol. It will fix and heal. Just takes some time
