21:42 You just changed my life, truly, i’ve been on a self development journey for more than 6 years now. Ironing out stuff. These discussions about decision-making finally made me understand the real law of attraction. How to move through this world most efficiently. Every decision is an opportunity to not let fear win. The quicker you make decisions out of love that need to be made. The quicker you reach your full potential.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Alex just feels unreal. He’s wealthy, humble, compassionate, philosophical, attentive, generous and funny. He’s like a swole Buddha that decided to become a CEO and wear crocs. You just can’t make this up.
@@gaylosbernandez579 When you do the work, the things you learn and the person you become stay with you, regardless if you reach the success criteria of that task. So it's not a wasted work, you are now better because of that work, even the if it was a fail by some external criteria.
It bothers me to no end how some people would rather use filler words that make you sound less articulate than actually deal with silence to think out a response.
I definitely agree it is a bad habit to respond immediately if one does not have his answer but if you get good at formulating yourself quickly on the spot is a good skill to have, you won't always have the time to think through a question. Though being uncomfortable with silence and scrambling for words is not a good habit(I do this more than I would like to admit) and having anxiety over what sounds best and what to say isn't that much better. I think for most people don't worry too much about what is the right approach when communicating but rather just practice, reflect and try different things out, once you get good at something it just happens if you think about what you are doing you will fuck up. If you have ever wondered why someone can play a guitar and sing at the same time or how Micheal Jackson can flow across the floor, there is literally no secret, at least nothing that can be put into words that will magically make you an expert. So just get out of your head and do stuff, and watch the universe unfold. One of the most complex things we do is walking and that just happens, despite all the tiny motions involved and the varying surfaces we roam across. Sorry for going on a tangent, just hope I can reach a younger me, goddamn we waste so much time.... Like shia Labeouf says: " JUST DO IT!" Lol
Beautifully staggering atm. These two are the templates of what I hope humans are like and if not aspire to be in the our future. There are currently not enough strong but sensitive leaders in our communities. These guys rock.
He is, and he sounds like he knows everything and is always right on everything. He is not. He shits like everyone else, he will die like everyone else. God he is not.
I'm 48 and I keep reminding myself how lucky we are to have such easy and comfortable access completely free to absolutely phenomenal wisdom. I remember times when I had to sift through books in the library just to find something useful. One episode like this can be life-changing for the person who takes it seriously and starts applying at least something out of this. Thank you Chris and Alex so much. You both are such great contributors to society. I've been on a 'subscribing' diet lately trying to be extremely picky about subs but this 3-hour marathon of value-bombs definitely got me on board.
Watching this for the 7th time now. Always coming back to it when I lose the will to continue. Chris, Alex, you have no idea how many lives you're saving. Thank you!
I hope that the 8th time you watch is to reflect how far you’ve come, not when you’ve lost the will to continue. 🤘🏻🙂 May you be well, blessed and surrounded by love.
This literally this moment became the most meaningful podcast/video I’ve experienced. I’m 56. I’m still learning. I’m in awe of how this came together and what I’ve walked away with and will hold close to my heart. Just thank you so much.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 ⏳ Focus on living life for yourself, as in three generations, everyone who knew you will be forgotten. 01:37 🤔 Learn to think from first principles and not be bound by societal norms or others' expectations. 04:15 🔥 Avoid following the crowd; most people's decisions lead to unfulfilling lives. 06:23 ⏳ The more you act on your decisions, the quicker you can make significant changes in your life. 08:17 🗣️ Unmade decisions are often the source of stress; confronting difficult conversations can lead to growth. 12:02 🚗 Making decisions earlier can save you time and prevent you from staying in a state of complacency. 16:51 💡 Unmade decisions feel heavy due to fear, but naming the fear and the person involved can empower you to take action. 18:43 ⏳ Anxiety cost: Unmade decisions waste valuable time and attention, emphasizing the importance of taking action promptly. 19:25 🕐 Procrastination and anxiety can be reduced by taking immediate action on tasks or decisions. 20:33 ⏳ Speed of decision-making can significantly impact how quickly you achieve your goals and overcome anxiety. 22:54 💡 Fear of failure, insecurity, and the fear of being "not enough" often drive high achievers to succeed. 25:03 🤷♂️ Cynicism can be a defense mechanism to avoid facing the pain of failure and the judgment of others. 26:16 🃏 Everyone has advantages and disadvantages; it's essential to play the hand you've been dealt. 29:44 🤝 Understanding others' experiences and hardships can lead to forgiveness and empathy. 30:54 🙏 Regrets are an inevitable part of life, but choosing which regrets you can live with can guide decision-making. 35:10 🧀 In decision-making, consider running away from what you fear (regret) rather than chasing what you desire. 38:38 🌟 Building confidence is not about shouting affirmations but about proving your worth through undeniable evidence. 39:09 📘 Measure your success by your efforts and the work you put in, not just the outcomes. 40:19 🗣️ Prioritize and dedicate substantial effort to tasks to ensure you've done everything in your control to succeed. 42:25 🌟 The more you commit to a single pursuit, the more you realize your capabilities and unlock mastery. 44:43 💪 Turn pro in your chosen endeavor, applying dedication and a pro athlete's mindset to achieve excellence. 45:11 💡 The difference between nervousness and excitement is your level of preparation. 49:13 💡 Your ability to say "no" becomes crucial as you become more successful; focus on the one thing that matters most. 52:31 🚀 As you gain more success, your opportunities increase, making it even more important to prioritize and say "no" to most. 56:17 🔥 Use insufficiency, resentment, or difficult experiences as potent fuel to drive your actions and success. 57:25 🪓 Twisting the knife: Be specific about your pain and understand what truly hurts you, as it's often what contains elements of truth that bother you. 58:38 🌟 Success is the only revenge: Focus on your goals and achievements to overshadow doubters and naysayers, rather than trying to prove them wrong individually. 59:22 💪 Use challenges as opportunities: Transform negative experiences into strengths. Overcoming adversity can lead to unique skills and resilience. 01:01:54 🚀 Embrace the journey: Find joy in the pursuit of your goals rather than solely focusing on achieving them. The process of striving can be more fulfilling than reaching the destination. 01:05:08 🎖️ Be grateful for your challenges: Reflect on past difficulties as opportunities for growth and character development, as they contribute to who you are today. 01:06:23 🛣️ Define your own game: Don't just try to win at someone else's game; determine what game you want to play and set your own rules and goals. 01:09:40 🤔 Happiness in the pursuit: Realize that happiness often comes from actively working toward your goals, not just achieving them. Enjoy the journey as much as the destination. 01:15:53 🌄 Create your character through challenges: Imagine the person you want to become and embrace the hardships and struggles that will shape your character along the way. 01:16:50 🙏 Gratitude for the mundane: Cultivate gratitude by imagining how your future self would cherish the simple joys and health you currently have. 01:17:32 🌟 Finding gratitude and presence in everyday moments is a powerful way to combat feeling stuck in routines. 01:18:00 🧘 Presence and gratitude can be intertwined, with small daily moments opening you up to awareness. 01:18:56 🥋 Conor McGregor emphasized the importance of being present in his fights, allowing him to excel. 01:19:48 🌼 Mindfulness can be as simple as savoring a sip of coffee or a view out of the window, stringing together these moments. 01:21:12 🌄 Moments where you perceive your peripheral vision can naturally lead you to the present. 01:26:29 🚀 Success often brings haters because you remind them of the dreams they gave up on. 01:29:43 🌟 Haters and criticism can be indicators that you're on the right path to success. 01:35:21 💪 Every worthwhile goal has a cost, and it's the difficulty that makes it worth pursuing. 01:36:48 🙅 Self-love can involve rejecting the notion of self-acceptance and striving for the person you want to become. 01:37:28 🧠 Self-love means believing in yourself more than anyone else does and holding yourself to a higher standard. 01:39:09 🤔 Reject the idea of self-acceptance as settling for who you are; instead, accept your current state but strive for improvement. 01:40:09 💪 Embrace the discrepancy between your current self and the person you want to be, and focus on taking steps to bridge that gap. 01:45:41 🧭 Feeling lost or going through hard times often indicates you're on the right path to success, not the wrong one. 01:50:47 🧘♂️ To overcome negative emotions like sadness or impatience, operationalize them by identifying the root causes and working on solutions. 01:55:26 📝 A mediocre plan consistently followed is more effective than a perfect plan never executed; the key is sticking to the plan. 01:56:22 🌟 Alex emphasizes the importance of consistency and setting a new, higher bar for oneself after achieving success. 01:56:47 🧬 Alex acknowledges that everyone faces unique challenges, but he encourages individuals to focus on what they want to achieve rather than seeking sympathy for their difficulties. 01:57:30 🤔 Alex challenges the "must be nice" mindset, suggesting that success isn't about circumstances but about one's determination and actions. 01:59:10 💪 Alex emphasizes the importance of persevering even when you don't feel good about it and how hard work pays off in the long run. 02:00:55 🌱 Alex highlights that the work itself changes and molds you, and it's not just about the outcomes. 02:03:27 🏆 Alex shares his realization that work is never wasted because you become the output of the work, not just the outcome. 02:05:36 🤯 Alex suggests that judging yourself based on your actions, not just your thoughts, can lead to self-improvement. 02:06:58 🕰️ Alex discusses the value of patience and how it can be developed through consistent action, even when you don't feel patient. 02:10:36 🙌 Alex and the host emphasize the importance of sharing honest, unromanticized stories of personal growth and challenges to help others navigate their journeys. 02:15:43 🚀 Having a "must be easy" mindset is a sign of a victim mindset; it removes agency and power from your life. 02:17:07 ⏳ Life is like a protracted training montage; the lack of certainty makes it worthwhile. 02:18:48 🤔 Pursuing a goal with uncertainty is what makes it meaningful; guaranteed success would be unfulfilling. 02:19:04 💪 To be more successful than most, be willing to do what most people aren't willing to do. 02:20:26 🔄 Consistency is a powerful virtue; being consistent is often the key to success. 02:23:46 🕰️ The moment you begin working is when your productivity increases; starting is the perfect condition. 02:28:57 💪 There are no shortcuts; hard work is the path to success. 02:30:13 🌟 Don't compromise on your standards; even if others praise your work, you'll know if you could have done better. 02:33:22 📅 Aim for your average Tuesday to reflect how you want most of your life to be, focusing on meaningful work, exercise, and spending time with loved ones. 02:35:12 🚫 Don't waste time justifying your actions to people who have a life you don't want. Live your life the way you want. 02:36:14 🙅♂️ Don't let others' inability to make a logical argument affect you. Accept their rejection and move on. 02:39:42 🎭 "Punking the game" means refusing to play by others' rules in a game you didn't agree to, which can be both destructive and constructive. 02:41:20 💰 The cynics may seem right in the short term, but the optimists often achieve long-term success. Embrace the tension between paranoia in the present and faith in the future. 02:45:06🚀 Don't be swayed by people who consistently underestimate your potential. They're often wrong, except for the one time it truly matters. 02:49:30 📚 Learning is about changing behavior in response to new conditions. Intelligence is the rate of learning, not an inherent attribute. 02:51:50 📖 Check out Alex Hormozi's books "100 Million Dollar Offers" and "100 Million Dollar Leads" for practical business insights.
I love how this ancient wisdom existing there for thousands of years gets so much admiration from people. Probably we really need this kind of guys that can articulate it properly.
I listed to this podcast almost every day for a month while working through the plans and gusto to further live and change my life paradigm almost a year ago when you first posted it, starting my own company reselling products … it’s been tough, but absolutely worth it! I listened to it again this afternoon while getting errands done and it helped me walk in the door, and literally do the next one after putting my keys down; frankly face the “fear” I’ve been holding onto for 7 years and launch my first piece of creative work. Thank you for taking all that time to pull this list together and for having Alex on to discuss. You’ve helped change the trajectory of my next 50 years - your time was well spent. ❤
"The heaviest things in life aren't iron and gold, but unmade decisions. The reason you are stressed is that you have decisions to make and you're not making them." - Alex Hormozi 15:28 Interesting quote.
I feel so extremely lucky to have recognized that it didn’t matter what other people thought about me at such a young age. I was about 10 or 11 years old when I started to live how i wanted to live. My school, hobbies, friends, how I dressed, what I said, or my relationship with family was all based on what I wanted snd what I liked and never based on other peoples opinion. I didn’t need outside validation or approval. I didn’t need everyone to like me either. This outlook has allowed me to truly live the life that I wanted to be who I truly was.. I consider myself successful and at peace snd it had nothing to do with money or illusions. ..something that sadly most people will never experience. The side effect of this mentality however is that I’m not close with family and I don’t have many friends because people do not like it when you don’t conform to their expectations and make decisions based on what you want and not what they want you to want for them. No regrets. I’ve lived a great life.
Always put your finances in good care to ensure that your income rises. Wealthy people achieve there financial goals and acquire riches by seeking help from finance pro(s) but many claim to have achieved success themselves.
I operate a wide range of investments and have achieved massive growth in my finances with the help of my financial professional, making my financial goal a reality.
I think the concept of having to choose one's regrets and the fact that shame only exists in the shadows are two truths that really got me thinking! Incredible episode!
Chris and Alex have such a genuine rapport, and that’s very much reflected in the quality of their conversation. Thanks for taking us along for the ride fellas.
About having kids… I just have to tie two parts of this video together, it helped my own understanding and maybe it’ll help others as well. You said “choose your regrets” and I like that. It’s one of the “parts that stood out to me the most” for me. You also said “don’t let kids hold you back” and I like that as well. Here’s the thing though… for anyone that has kids that aren’t in full time school yet… we will always choose to regret missing out on a business (or any other) opportunity rather than missing out on our kids in those few precious years. “You gave up on your dreams because of me?” Damn right I did because you became my new dream. At least a big pause on them anyway.
@@dan-cj1rr interesting take you have. Perhaps you don’t like receiving a tonne of value….for free. The people going through his free trainings and new book (like me) are not phased by the unique approach to his launch, in-fact, it’s impressive as there’s few people on the planet that could actually pull that off in the manner that he did it.
@@dan-cj1rr godd u gotta be world class level dense to take that from his presentation. He made something educational which he wanted us to share with as many people as possible because that’s what his goal is, he wants to make business education accessible for everyone. He literally made everything available for free and asked us to share it. If anyone wanted to buy the limited edition books to get his company’s hat in return (as token of gratitude from his end) we could buy it and share it with our friends. People literally go crazy to buy stupid merch from all sorts of scammy UA-camrs and out of them all you thought of accusing him 🤦🏻♂️, you lead a sad life my friend.
This episode has my heart. The vulnerability from the two of you combined with the anectodes, and the results of your heart work, made me...emotional and inspired. I've been listening while I work on my clients and i have about 20 minutes left in this episode, but wanted to say thank you to Chris for the amazing guests you find, and Alex for sleeping in that gym, under the garage, while those kids the same age as you were partying all night and the cars were driving over your head. You both deserve such great things.
I absolutely love the pause that Alex takes before he replies to gather his thoughts. I’ve never seen that before but it is so brilliant. Most people want to seem like they have the answers and start talking immediately filled with “uh’s and um’s”. Such a master at getting his point across. 👏🏽
So happy for this updated interview. Alex is quickly becoming the GOAT. He put on a masterclass in sales a few days ago. Truly one of the brightest minds in business.
Ive been obsessed to his content and the results of it are evident to everyone the fact that am 19 in Kenya is so fascinating to find someone ive never met impacting me in such a way
21:42 You just changed my life, truly, i’ve been on a self development journey for more than 6 years now. Ironing out stuff. Thank you for this podcast! I have been feeling lost and now I know where to go. I know that the things I'm avoiding need to be done. That I should be living the life I want to live. That I should make sure everyday I take a step in the direction to the destination that seems unreal, until it's reality.
I'm in my 50' and I find the conversation between these two young men so refreshing. The transparent honesty, and the drive for success they conveyed was a really good conversation.
Is it weird that almost every episode feels like ultra premium content? Is Chris the new Oprah? Like everything Oprah thought she was, that’s Chris. He’s the real deal.
Oprah was always about the entertainment and the spectacle. She's very good at it. So I think you're onto something here because I think the real need for the deeper stuff was just untapped. And this is where Chris is just purely better at it. No need for a larger than life personality.
Single parenting is relentless triple shifts for 10-20 years. Much love you guys. I get inspired every time I listen to you. So much gold in this conversation. Thank you.
A session for life! U guys smashed this one.. 💯🔥 "Nothing is goin to be worthwhile that doesn't come with an associated amount of discomfort" In this day&age that quote hits hard.
I'm reading your comment as I'm turning down French fries at a restaurant. It sucks eating healthy sometimes, lol, but if you ain't got health you ain't got nothing.
“Fame doesn’t change you, it change everyone around you”, but I’ve always felt the sentiment that fame and power reveals you was more true, perhaps fame also reveals those around you. It’s less that people change, but that as your circumstances change, people reveal more of who they are.
I have bought both of Alex's books! Love all the wisdom available today. I gotta say it's easy to get trapped in scrolling for too long. I decided to delete all the social apps off my phone and just use UA-cam on my laptop and it's really helped my productivity!
I am a 56 year old retired nurse recently widowed. I have been watching Alex and Layla’s teaching videos, among others, for the past 5 months. I am you at 85 Mr. Hormozi. I am grateful for these 3 hours. The conversation was light yet insightful. Thank you. I know I’m not the target audience but I wanted you to know that your knowledge is appreciated at every moment of your life. I’m taking the red pill, finally.
Man…I wish I had friends so I can share this. This entire series is gold. This specific episode here literally changed my life. I always come back and listen and keep benefiting…for free? Wow.
Never has a podcast improved my life so quickly. Alex inspired me to have a difficult conversation with my girlfriend and now things are much better between us. It's also inspiring to think about making decisions sooner rather than later.
Chris and Alex. Thank you. This episode is like a bible chapter. I keep listening to it entirely because is full of wisdom, power and concrete things to put into practice and inspire to punch the fear and be who we want to be. Which is not easy most times. Thank you.
I love how this podcast took a different/unique approach to interviewing Alex Hormozi, unlike many others that repeatedly ask him the same boring questions. 🌱 ....Leila and Alex are truly inspiring 💗
2 days of listening, 4 pages of notes (double-sided). Chris and Alex should congratulate themselves for having the best podcast episode of the year! Looking forward to more!
The 'CRAZY' amount of wisdom nuggets in this video is insane! I've heard many hours of Alex Hormozi, and certainly like alot of what I've heard,... but Chris with his interview style, made this one of THE BEST INTERVIEW OF ALL TIME! 😊❤. I'M going to be listening to this episode many times over! I LOVE YOU GUYS! THANK YOU for pouring into me! God bless you for your contributions to the world. And remember to invest in your relationship with God, or this life will have meant NOTHING! 🙏
This pod helped give me the courage to leave my businesses and partnerships that weren't performing, to decide to do just 1 thing and I am so grateful I made that decision.
It’s not easy to find people who are so well spoken, can talk about interesting things and just be cool at the same time. This channel is an absolute gem.
I love this one. I feel this interview/conversation will be a good one to last for decades and decades improving the lives of humans again and again. Love you guys and thanks for sharing your wisdom
I love Chris's passion at 1:51:00 about us never being more blessed than we are now. I could feel him boiling up over this concept. His conviction is so huge.
I'm a mom of two young kids. I homeschool, I cook from scratch as much as possible, garden and raise chickens so they can eat well. I run my side hustle in the early mornings and late nights. I frequently think "I can't do all of this" or "I can't do what Alex is doing because I have children" And then I remember I don't have to do things the way he is doing them to still find value in his lessons. And even though my progress feels slow, and my task list overwhelming, my young children are temporary. They are the priority, BUT I can still slowly lay the foundation, brick-by-brick, of what I want to do and be afterwards
Your missing the point all he is talking about you can utilize and are based on all your actions. You can apply this wisdom to any task and way of life begin now.
This really inspired me... ive been in the stage of my life where im not old enough to panic, but not young enough to be careless and im lost, disorganized, undisciplined, and hopeless. Despite knowing the problem im failing to execute and this gave me a variety of perspective. The way you word things like not knowing why you arnt doing something or turning emotions objective helped my thought center and i started talking real steps while listening. Keep up the good work 👍
Excellent conversation. Chris just nails these interviews. Loved the section about choosing your regrets. I am pretty pumped after watching this whole thing. I just started my business on 11th August. The motivator for me was that in July I was regretting not starting it 3 years ago and I realised I would rather try and fail than regret not starting it again 3 years from now.
I’ve watched this over the past month while I ate or was on a lunch break. This was probably one of the best ways I’ve spent 3 hours. I hope everyone makes it to the end, because this is a gem
Chris, thanks to your line of questioning that is relatable and empathetic. I felt deeply that you respected my time. Hope this brings a smile to your face. You deserve more love and subscribers! ❤
The example of the red card and not ducking got me the most. We all see the red card and ignore it and are back at where we started. The part of the cooking timer is something I can relate. It really works. I get a lot more done and it’s actually fun. You just start the timer and get busy. I even catch myself wanting more time to work.
@ChrisWillx & @Hormozi this is the best podcast that I have ever watched. So many 'breathe easy' moments from the clarity of your examples, scenarios and ideas. And I am so much older than both of you guys! The high paced banter between both of you is exciting like a high paced tennis match or maybe ping pong! Thank you for having this conversation and sharing it. It is now on my 'Reference Playlist' as I'll come back to it! A few exercise are coming for me, writing a list of pains and how to use them! Take care and lots of success to both of you!
I don’t think any podcast has connected with me more. Thank you both for mentioning how sad and lonely it can be on the way to the top. Not enough influencers mention just how hard the hardships of self improvement are, and you two both did an amazing job putting my feelings into words. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant, enough said. I don't want EITHER of your lives... yeah that part where everyone comes at you when you have achieved and put yourself out there part. This conversation IS GOLD FOR ANYONE who wants to change anything, that's the genius of this interview. Bravo guys and thank you.
This was a great interview and I am re-listening again to it today on Spotify. I rarely come on UA-cam and for this episode I decided to pop in and leave a comment to say that this was exactly what I needed for the season of life that I am currently in.
The same people judging you for working too hard or being unbalanced are the same ones looking for a handout when you become successful. And they're also the same ones that say you became successful because you had it easy or had an unfair advantage when really you outworked and out sacrificed and out gambled everyone else.
This is actually irrelevant. It means nothing. Carring too much about others' opinion is a bad idea, unless it's about something to do with laws or common sense things. It feels to me that it's still unhealthy even when that carring means spending tons of energy trying to prove why it doesn't matters. I think the point his is that there is no point to having such people (like those you described) in your life consistently. They're clearly not your friends. Giving you advice or pointing out something is not healthy is not a bad thing. It shows genuine interest if this comes from actual interest. But asking for handouts or devaluing your work once you become succesful are not actions that are signs of this. I've made some mistakes in my life and trusted people I shouldn't have. I paid for that so now I'm trying to pay more attention to who I trust.
Dude. Thank you so much for the line… “I have the tools to work hard at something, but I haven’t found the thing to work on.” That’s where I’m at, and it was driving me mad.
This video is just what I needed .This resonates with everything I'm experiencing as a new mom, new business owner, and new content creator. This conversation has been incredibly inspiring in many ways. Thank you! It's just the extra push I needed☺.
This podcast is absolute Gold. I thank God for these two, even with all my inadequacies and insecurities I can become who I want to be if I’m willing to pursue him even though I might not catch him. And that is a man in Christ after Gods heart.
I cant help but say . Your podcast is getting better and better than ever before. You will certainly rule in this area man. Thank so much you for making this valuable contents .
Chris when I listen to Modern Wisdom I feel less alone - I am literally mainlining Alex's teachings at the moment as I really want to grow and I am glad I have found you as a result - really powerful man. And the piece about being in your room from 6-16 in deep learnings - really resonate. Major appreciation.
I still cannot believe that I have access to this conversation for free. It absolutely blows my mind how one can access such content for no money. However, learning, like everything, comes at a cost- time (aka paying attention).
Thanks for adding the parenting part and us using it as a reason to not do what we want. I caught myself doing that for the last few months and reframed a great question for myself that has helped. "if my daughter brought home a partner with my current habits/lifestyle would I be proud" I changed the narrative to doing what I need for myself as I am the one showing her how to be herself and how to look for a life partner in the future
In the same response, I have also focused more on work life balance, 85 year old me will be happy to know my daughter has travelled the world and still chooses to come have lunch with me every week/month because of the time I invested into her from a young age. My goal is to have her join me for all my activities so she can learn and see me following my goals/passions and spending some great quality time together
Dude that’s crazy I’m reading this and this is my 3rd time listening. First time I can actually interpret the knowledge of nearly everything they’re talking about.
For me the same, and it's amazing how every time I listen to it there are new nuances and information that I can capture, alex is a real guide! Keep Building!
1:07:20 one of the best rants on UA-cam. This resonated with me deeply. Chris explains something that only a few in my life have managed to understand or feel, but almost none experienced. And the ending is just amazing.
I'm only 20 min in and theres already been, for me, a couple of profound observations / reframings of reality. I think I might clip some of this and set it as my morning alarm !
1:51:00 what an inception that is, talking about remembering and resonating with just one thing, and that is the exact thing I feel I will be resonating with. I have been putting too much pressure on myself trying to remember all of these things that it ends up in procrastination sometimes and overwhelm, rather than just allowing myself to naturally select what is important for just myself. Thank you, Chris.

Game Changers that are Selfless Servants! My people! Thanks brothers. 👊🏼💪🏼🚀
Chris talk way more than Alex. Disappointing in some waysm id rather have Alex explain his own thoughts.
Alex just feels unreal. He’s wealthy, humble, compassionate, philosophical, attentive, generous and funny. He’s like a swole Buddha that decided to become a CEO and wear crocs. You just can’t make this up.
That’s the best description of Alex I’ve heard.
This is a perfect description, I 100% agree with you.😄
You literally CANT MAKE IT UP 😂😂😂
You forget muscular
A swole buddah 😂😂 that’s so accurate tho hahah
“No work is wasted because I am the output of the work, not the outcome”. That was so good.
“I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over”. Such a powerful message
Can someone explain in dumb?
@@gaylosbernandez579 When you do the work, the things you learn and the person you become stay with you, regardless if you reach the success criteria of that task. So it's not a wasted work, you are now better because of that work, even the if it was a fail by some external criteria.
.
@@YoungKriegerperfect, couldn’t say it better myself
A man who thinks before he answers. A novelty. There’s hope. Great interview.
It bothers me to no end how some people would rather use filler words that make you sound less articulate than actually deal with silence to think out a response.
Was this statement at a particular time stamp?
@@ItsMistaTeejust throughout the video, he gathers himself before he answers each question
I noticed the exact same thing. Thoughtful answers are my favorite.
The amount of wisdom in this podcast between these two people who are still in their thirties is absolutely staggering. Amazing content.

Hormozi is such an articulate speaker, so good at delineating his life events and connecting to audiences.
I've been on a 'subscribing' diet lately trying to be extremely picky about subs but this 3-hour marathon of value-bombs definitely got me on board.

this will be the single most valuable podcasts for generations to come
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 ⏳ Focus on living life for yourself, as in three generations, everyone who knew you will be forgotten.

Never heard of this guy before. Listened to it on spotify and got immense inspiration that I dont often get from podcasts. This guy is great.
More than a podcast episode, this was two men having a deeply intimate, heartfelt conversation about life itself. I felt this.
The reason you are stressed is that you have decisions to make and you're not making them." - Alex Hormozi 15:28
Interesting quote.

This has got to be the most beautiful video podcast set I've ever seen. So clean, warm, and cinematic. Nicely done.
Chris talks about himself so much that this is more therapy for him than a podcast. i love the guest
I love Chris's passion at 1:51:00 about us never being more blessed than we are now. I could feel him boiling up over this concept. His conviction is so huge.
34:18 “In life, we must choose our regrets” - Douglas Morey
Wow, that’s a bar!
I'm a mom of two young kids. I homeschool, I cook from scratch as much as possible, garden and raise chickens so they can eat well. I run my side hustle in the early mornings and late nights.
I frequently think "I can't do all of this" or "I can't do what Alex is doing because I have children"
And then I remember I don't have to do things the way he is doing them to still find value in his lessons.
@@annettebicer7555 that's the conclusion my post comes to, friend
How's your progress so far man?
I’ve watched this over the past month while I ate or was on a lunch break. This was probably one of the best ways I’ve spent 3 hours. I hope everyone makes it to the end, because this is a gem
I am going to reflect on my "what is the conversation I fear having right now?". Great prompt.
This whole podcast was absolutely filled with wisdom and it has such a comforting effect... of not feeling so alone
The key to success isn't passion, it's pain.... That's so powerful.
I don’t think any podcast has connected with me more. Thank you both for mentioning how sad and lonely it can be on the way to the top. Not enough influencers mention just how hard the hardships of self improvement are, and you two both did an amazing job putting my feelings into words. Keep up the good work!
A man who thinks before he speaks is a powerful man and communicator.
Brilliant, enough said. I don't want EITHER of your lives... yeah that part where everyone comes at you when you have achieved and put yourself out there part. This conversation IS GOLD FOR ANYONE who wants to change anything, that's the genius of this interview. Bravo guys and thank you.
I've been listening to this podcast for while but this has to be the most takeaways I've taken from a single episode. Hormozi is the man, love this 💪
No words. Truly wise, smart and GREAT people! Thank You, Chirs and Thank You, Alex!
This was a great interview and I am re-listening again to it today on Spotify. I rarely come on UA-cam and for this episode I decided to pop in and leave a comment to say that this was exactly what I needed for the season of life that I am currently in.
I am incredibly present when I watch and deeply listen to this podcast.
Chris telling Alex "shut up" at 2:26:53 is my absolute favorite. How to be a great Podcaster? Tell your guest to shut up! 😂😂❤ love it!
Listen to alex and chris light up my day and bring me back on track to my dream life. You just have to get inspire
Watching for my third time through now. Thanks guys.
Same, come back to it every month to check in with myself.
Lol me as well
Dude that’s crazy I’m reading this and this is my 3rd time listening. First time I can actually interpret the knowledge of nearly everything they’re talking about.
For me the same, and it's amazing how every time I listen to it there are new nuances and information that I can capture, alex is a real guide! Keep Building!
Fourth this time, too much sauce in here
1:07:20 one of the best rants on UA-cam.
The last podcast with Alex on MW was life changing. I don't say that easily. It really was. So excited for this one!
0:00 to 8:00 I recorded this section a few months ago and set it as my morning alarm. It reinforced things I've always known I needed to attend to in my life. How I needed to put my own happiness ahead of others if I was ever to be happy enough to care about their happiness.
Best episode of this Podcast so far, pops to both Chris and Alex for their great thoughts and conversation!! ❤
This is pure gold. I have Alex’s books, too. So much wisdom from this lovely man and his beautiful wife. Thank you for the gift of this generous conversation and for the humility you both share it in.
