Un pur chef d'œuvre. On ne peut qu'espérer que ce travail soit reconnu par un grand public, mais même s'il reste méconnu ça en fera un joyau précieux.

I did an analysis on the ending where she cuts off his antlers. I think it's a symbolic act: the antlers represent his masculinity, freedom, and primal nature. By removing them, she exerts control, indicating a power dynamic and possibly a shift in his identity or status within their relationship
It feels like how often when victims take revenge they cut off their abusers appendages. I saw it as basically an appropriate version of that but to be fair it represents nearly the same thing as the irl version. What confuses me is why she puts the antlers on? Does she become an abuser? Or is it supposed to be symbolic of the positive power shes gotten over her life? Im not the best at things like this, sorry.
@@greenwing1305 sorry for the late reply, When she puts the antlers on herself it symbolizes her transformation and empowerment. Rather than becoming an abuser, it signifies her taking control of her life and destiny. The antlers can be seen as a way to harness the strength and freedom the stag represents. By wearing the antlers she metaphorically embraces the power and independence she took hold, symbolizing her liberation from her previous captivity and dominion. So in summary the antlers represent a positive transformation and empowerment rather than shift towards becoming an abuser. It's about reclaiming control and asserting autonomy
@@mmirzoanI’m more inclined to agree with the interpretation that by taking the antlers, she becomes the next abuser. I think it embodies the cycle of abuse and how difficult it is to escape it. The violent act of cutting the antlers (after killing the captor) and the shift to red, imparts with me a more sinister tone. She doesn’t get freedom, she gets power. Or maybe both? What is freedom? I rlly don’t know

My opinion about this short film would be that it portrays a toxic and abusive relationship, as psychologically and perhaps sexually or physically, I love this animation because it is extremely beautiful and the colors match the general setting.
My other interpretation would be that the young girl fell in love with a being in disguise, thus starting a relationship with him, but this being just wanted her all to himself? Maybe.
I love this animation so much! The symbolism is so detailed and intricate with its colors of red and blue, the eyes watching everywhere, and the cycle repeating itself of who is a monster. To try to escape and conquer the oppressor, only to be the monster just like them. I love the beauty of it all. I hope you all make more animations in the future!

Je suis subjugué. Je n'ai pas les mots. Sans rire, loin de moi la volonté de faire du comparatisme avec tant d'autres projets d'autres écoles tout aussi somptueux, il faut bien reconnaître le raffinement inégalable de ce court-métrage...
Un magnifique film animé qui méritent bien plus de visibilité et de recognition qu'il n'a. Les couleurs sont super vives et les détails sont vraiment magnifiqueq et il y a beaucoup de travail qui a été mit dedans c'est sûr. Le style me fait un peu penser à Michel Ocelot comme dans Azur et Asmar ou Prince et Princesse.
En un mot : somptueux. De l'animation à l'habillage sonore en passant par la composition des plans, tout est magnifique ! Bravo !

É sobre relacionamento abusivo? Porque as falas e a atmosfera me fizeram pensar nisso, até a dominação disfarçada de proteção que na verdade vai te rasgando e matando por dentro. Achei incrível, muito bem expresso o que se sente!
Eu acho que retrata um relacionamento abusivo sim, tá meio óbvio que esse demônio tenha se apaixonado ou se interessado pela jovem garota, então a forçou a ficar com ele.

Noticed that the buck's antlers are often blue 💙, like the blue and white doe. And they are blue when she takes them. There is even blue blood leaking from them when she gets them and places them on her head. Does that imply they were HERS or were going to be the whole time?

C'est un bijou au sens propre. Chaque plan est un poster en lui-même, l'attention au détail est minutieuse et les bruitages sont incroyablement prenants. I wonder what the antlers symbolize. Maybe it’s a sign of who’s the oppressor or it symbolizes power. I’m leaning towards the latter because the doe who were following him seemed to be trying to grab his antlers, not him, so maybe they wanted his power.
On dirait un merveilleux poème de Michel Ocelot et de Miyazaki combiné harmonieusement et avec talent.
Il y a tellement de bonnes idées dans l'animation !! (Et les couleurs sont hypnotisantes aussi)
C'est tellement beau! J'aime particulièrement la quantité de composition symétrique. Laissez-moi ressentir l'atmosphère de solennité et de fantaisie. Je recommanderai cette animation à mes amis (je ne parle pas français. Logiciel de traduction utilisé)

C'est vraiment magnifique je ne sais pas pourquoi mais la mise en scène de ce films me fait penser à la belle au bois dormant ou même "les trois brigands"

J'ai pu le voir au festival de Rennes il y a de cela quelques jours, il fait bien parti des court-métrages que j'ai visionné là-bas m'ayant le plus marqué, un véritable chef-d'œuvre se démarquant de tout ce que j'ai pu voir. Les personnages, la symbolique, les couleurs, et j'en passe...un grand bravo à l'équipe, votre film est un véritable joyau ! 👏✨

Fantastique film, magnifique et terrifiant a la fois.
Waw, j'ai adoré !!! ❤J'apprécie beaucoup le style avec tous ces détails ! Les biches du début son effrayantes, le cerf est incroyable et de plus en plus terrifiant ! J'adore le combat entre la biche/humaine et le cerf (d'ailleurs le fait qu'il y ai une bouche a l'intérieur de sa gueule quand il parle... j'adore cette idée !!!) Et les sang qui coule en suivant les motifs du tapis !!!!!! Et cette fin !!!!!!!!! L'audio aussi est incroyable, j'aime particulièrement la vois du cerf ❤
Bref j'ai vraiment adoré ❤❤❤
