Now THIS is the kind of ghost story I wouldn't mind listening to by a campfire. Nothing but a good friendship between a ghost and a man trying to help them. Also the voice acting, per usual, was amazing! Especially the ghost's soft, feminine voice; which suited their simple design very nicely. Once more, lovely animated film overall!

this might be odd to say, but i adore that the phantom is referred to as masculine in the title, has a feminine voice actor, and arthur suggests male and female names in the cemetery!

When Arthur sped down the country road in the middle of the night, I thought he was gonna get killed lol. Glad I was wrong!

I love how this kind man, just instantly took this literal lost soul in, no questions asked, and continued helping them. And the soundtrack is so beautiful. 💜
Très touchant. Probablement l'un de mes "courts", si ce n'est mon préféré. J'adore comment personne et tout particulièrement Arthur n'est surpris, effrayé, choqué ou dubitatif face au fantôme. Arthur et lui deviennent amis tout simplement. Son amie décédé mais néanmoins présente, avec qu'il il passe dans moments d'amitié simple et qu'il aide sans se poser de questions, sans rien attendre en retour. Une belle leçon d'ouverture d'esprit et de coeur.
This is so damn touching. About accepting death, in a unique way. I don't know about this, but I have a feeling, that it will be adapted into short movie or maybe big movie soon

I recommend "A Ghost Story." It's also about a bedsheet ghost accepting death with a vey emotional story.

i love how subtle arthur's expressions were, their friendship was lovely and felt satisfying at the end... and the ending song especially was very kind and beautiful. one of my favourite short animations ever!

haven't seen this particular style before, very unique, I loved it! especially the way they seamlessly combined the 2-d animation with what appeared to be real life backgrounds 💙 🌙✨

Ce court métrage est pour moi l’un des plus touchants des Gobelins que j’ai pu voir, bravo à tous ceux qui l’ont réalisé.

Stunning! Absolutely stunning! I loved Arthur’s character! He’s so nonchalant about meeting a ghost and I’m LIVING for it
This was in my top 3 favorite fortnitemares shorts with The Eye and Nightmare In The Morning
Déjà l'histoire est trop mignonne mais en plus on ressent super bien l'atmosphère de la campagne avec le vieux cimetière, l'ambiance posée, les sapins noirs dans la nuit ou encore les fils électriques qui défilent au bord de la route. C'est super !!
I truly think that every Gobelins short film I watch should become a tv series or film, they’re all simply too short of a burst of talent and creativity. Once I finish it I feel lost thinking about what I could’ve experienced had it been a longer film. All their students are so gifted because of this, this nack of grabbing your attention for a short time and utterly immersing you into their worlds’ that they have created. 😊
I appreciate these animations so much, there's so much love and soul put in to every single one of them. I am so happy animations like these still exist these days
this friendship between a man and a ghost has me cryin in the club 😭😭😭 but seriously I am in awe at every single part of this film it’s just incredible, no words can do it justice
I loved how some of the backgrounds seemed to be from the real world and had drawings over it. I always love watching Gobelins animated films!

That’s some good shit. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The music, the art, and even the story is top notch. I can tell that the people working on this poured their heart and soul into it.
I have never been so touched by an animation or a movie before... this made me cry like a child, its really such a beautiful and human story....
Very sweet and also funny in an understated way. Inventive combinations everywhere, between animation styles, traditional ghost story with modern medical, and a lovely end credit song.
I love everything about this film. I love how the ghost is wearing those thick shoes. It pumps up the cuteness another notch. Usually ghosts are depicted feetless, I think.

Oh my heart! The best parts were the frantic drive to follow them: it was so full of emotion, and the ghost's farewell: turning around, it was enough, it was just enough.
Je suis pas Français, mais j'essaie d'apprendre la langue, dites moi si je fais bien avec l'orthographe et le syntaxe, c'est difficile avec les phrases complexes mais j'arriverai 😃
Mis à part "syntaxe" qui est un nom féminin (une/la syntaxe), ça m'a l'air juste! bonne chance pour ton apprentissage. (Si je chipote, "je NE suis pas", mais bon nombre de français rétrécissent ainsi les phrases dans le registre courant ou familier.)

Bonjour, votre phrase est juste et bien construite ! Vous pouvez cependant dire « j’y arriverai » au lieu de « j’arriverai » (le « y »désigne ce à quoi vous arriverez, apprendre le français) vous vous débrouillez déjà très bien !

Having watched this as part of Shortnitemares, I have to say that this is probably one of the best shorts in that set…It’s cute, beautiful, and even a tad bit emotional. Well done.

@Lisett Gonzalez no, can't be, because, if you do not remember, but at the end of the animation, there were more ghost people, all over..and they never got hit by a lighting bolt!
