I always tear up a little when All Might tells Midoriya that he can become a hero. Having a larger than life character like that in your corner… telling you that they have your back, that’s such a powerful thing.
I like how, even though Bakugo acts like a stereotypical bully in a lot of ways, he is also unwilling to let his friends pressure him into delinquent activities that will ruin his chances to get into the school he wants, and is also seething when the pro heroes tell him how amazing he is, because he knows he didn't earn that praise.
It's a great early example of how this show presents a straight archetype, but then personalizes it and makes it a fully realized person.
Fun fact in the original concept bakugou or kacchan was suppose to be super nice and friendly saying stuff like “anybody can be a hero” but the author found that super boring so he did a 180

Yup. He was originally supposed to be the really positive and nice guy who accidentally insulted others without knowing it by being too nice/innocent. But then Horikoshi was like, what if I gave him the personality of a wolverine on steroids?
@@emilyd8884 Go watch Shikimori and you'll get a taste of what that's like. Main character's friend is voiced by Bakugo's voice actor and not only does the character look a bit like Bakugo, he sounds like if Bakugo took a lot of therapy and chill pills. Definitely recommend it.
Deku is probably one of the sweetest, earnest and kindest hero. You'll definitely come to love him as we go forward.

A common misconception is that quirks develop AT 4 years of age, but it's actually BY 4 years of age. A kid can be born with a quirk (like how the light baby who was the first person identified with a power was born already shining), but it's unheard of someone developing a power after the age of 4. So Sludge Villain could have been born as... sludge already. Still pretty icky xD
Also, since you said you weren't used to Japanese terms, Izuku(Deku)'s relationship towards Katsuki (his bully) is odd in how it's set up. Izuku adds the term -chan to Katsuki to form the nickname Kacchan. The suffix -chan is usually used for young children or close female friends. It's not something you'd typically continue to call your male friends (let alone an explosive bully) in middle school, but Izuku has never dropped the nickname since they were young kids. Basically, Izuku continues to call Katsuki with a VERY cutesy nickname despite Katsuki's bullying.
One thing that might be good to know is how japanese naming conventions work: To distinguishe how yoor relationship to someone is, you use suffixes.
For Children and close friends, also sometimes for teenage girls, you use -chan which you can hear in Izuku calling Katsuki "Kacchan" a habit he holds over from their childhood.
For boys you usually use -kun, so if a grownup would adress Izuku Midoriya, they would call him Midoriya-kun, as usually you use the last name of the person unless oyu know each other _really_ well.
For Most grownups, the suffix -san is used, but sometimes a younger child or teenager might call a young adult -neesan (female) or -niisan (male) which pretty much translates to "older sister" and "older brother" respectively.
If the grownup i in a teaching position -sensei is used, this you have probably heard of, but it's not only used for cool martial arts teacher, but any teacher. Midoriya will call all his teachers -sensei with their name in fron of it
For old people you will sometimes hear obaachan or obaasan, which means grandmother or ojiichan/ojiisan for grandfather, again, like the -niisan/neesan thing it can used for people who aren't your actual relatives
There is also one more suffix, -sama, but it is fairly outdated and only used for someone who is way up the ladder above you. I think nowadays you would only use it for highranking priests or something similar.
Suffix -kun might also be used to a female in cases. Teacher to female student can go for Surname-kun, for example.
Midoriya-chan is also a posibility, although kind of an oddball - still by surname, but very informal suffix. This one might be a mocking too.
Suffix-sensei reserved not only for teachers and scientist, but also medical workers, IIRC.
There's also -dono for military (and police officers?)
As for -sama, otaku would sometimes use it for some of their idols, in self-deprecating manner. Some others in similar way, maybe. Also, probably wife would call that her husband in VERY-VERY conservative families.
Definitely recommend not watching the next time episode previews as they do get more spoilery as the show goes on. Still watch the credits because there are occasional after credits scenes that are important.

Bakugo and his whole situation is a special interest of mine, so I'll probably end up pointing things out about him on quite a few episodes. And to answer your question: post-credit scenes happen sometimes and those are okay to watch, but you shouldn't watch the episode previews if you don't wanna be spoiled.)
Had inko midoriya (mom) trained to be a hero, to surpass the limits of not only her body but also her Quirk, no doubt she would be able to attract a whole lot more than tiny objects. Powers like hers would make her a first class support hero, moving rubble and debris, hauling cars out of rivers, disarming enemies.
Allmight age is between 50 to 60 and he is Injured weakened by 6 years ago he cough blood so inside he became weak he now can be Allmight for 3 hours and his time limit decrease because he pushed himself beyond 3hrs
Fun fact, it's really hard not to see All Might as some kind of nod to the figure of captain America (in terms of what he represents) or superman (for his strength). For this reason, I find his USA attacks hilarious

I wouldn't watch the episode previews, because they have a tendency of revealing major plot points instead of just getting you excited for next time.

16:45 No, he have combustion abilities, not straight up fire. Actually, it's even better. He sweats (including forcefully) nitroglycerin and can combust it. You can think of all the implications of that by yourself. It doesn't ruin your theory though, because that would mean either that he got his mom's quirk or combination of the two parents, with ability to ignite coming from his father and other needed parts - from mother.

Right, i forgot. This anime names a lot of its locations after planets from Star Wars. Yet I see no one mentioning that little detail. Too obscure, perhaps?
Gotta admit, seeing you watch the preview makes me nervous. I don't know how spoilerish they are in MHA, but I know in some shows they can be pretty bad. Admittedly, I don't even watch the openting theme until I've finished the season, just in case, lol.

It normally takes most reactors a lot longer to come up with "insecure" as the reason he's like this, even after it's shown later on in the same season. I, like many, disliked Bakugo a lot when I first started the series. But he's a surprisingly complex character that I've come to really enjoy as the show's progressed.

If I tell you that Deku survives the first big battle, that's a spoiler, but it's also obvious. If I tell you that deku eventually becomes the greatest hero, that's a spoiler, but it doesn't matter because the important thing is to find out when and how that happens. So it's impossible to avoid all spoilers. The only important thing is not to say BIG spoilers
First of all I would say Texas smash is definitely better than Detroit smash and you should definitely not watch those “ coming up next week” parts of the show to go in blind.
All of his moves are smashes with American names in front, with the possible exception of Manchester Smash.
@@ML0694 Manchester might mean the one in New Hampshire when you think about it. I mean, we got this with Detroit already, which is neither state nor even state capital (Michigan and Lansing respectively there)
