Fun facts! 7,400 feet per minute translates to a vertical speed of 84 miles per hour (135 Km/Hr). 4,500 feet per minute is 51 MPH (82 Km/Hr). On the takeoff, he accelerated to 80 knots in roughly 9 seconds. 80 knots is 92 MPH (148 Km/Hr).
Yes a REAL HIGH PERFORMANCE TAKE OFF finally after so many I,ve watched off which was said that they were also high performance take offs ?? NICE FLYING SIR and have a SAFE FLIGHT !!
He's PF AND he's working the radios. He's either on a power trip or has an incompetent FO. But, since he' sporting stripes on a JACKET while flying....I think I know the answer.
The Learjet is definitely a very impressive aircraft in its class. I don't think even the phenom 300 could match that departure performance. You pitched up 30 deg... wow 👌🏻
Rainman thanks! I think it was about 35 degrees pitch ;) Emb 300 can not make it, it has 6720 lbs of total thrust and MTOW of 17968 lbs. So the thrust to mtow ratio is 0.37 but LJ 60 has 0.39
The First Good performance take off and well documented video clip I,ve encountered here !! I hope this Pilot will do some low flying videos 2 with a Jet ofcourse !! Good Job Mr. Pilot i like your Style !! Have a nice and Safe flight !!
Your attention to the aircraft must be on top to not let it get ahead of you! I'll bet you're concentrating so much on keeping everything safe that you don't even feel it.
Hello!! Tanks for this nice vidéo! On comercial flight, with customers on board, how much should the vertical speed be limited? In your company, do you have recommendations to apply for the comfort of customers?
The thumbnail made me assume it would be like those Boeing demonstration flights with the max and 787. Was a steep climb needed for noise abatement or to save time? Thanks for the great videos.

F22 Raptor almost went supersonic fully loaded while vertical and didn't start slowing till well above 20000 ft. Mach 0.99 is like 66700 ft/sec sustained. And the test pilots say the fastest climb rate is supersonic right off the decks. Unofficially every climb record was broken that day.

Impressive ~ You definitely wouldn't want to see performance numbers like that when coming back down.
I've done lots of really-high-performance takeoffs from Sochi... in DCS.
The climb from this Lear is extremely impressive!
Yes ur the Action Pilot we wanna See and ur definitely flying the Hell out of this Airplane !! I love it and U have a Safe Flight Sir !!

Impressive plane and flying!
What captain flies with his uniform jacket on?
so cool seeing how much steeper he's pitching it relative to the flight director... looks like he's having a blast...

Great video ! What a perfect performance from Learjet :)
Enes Yildirim thank you, I hope this wing could do better with altitude to keep up with the engine performance
@@TheFlyingLife I think its perfect designed for climb and it is almost climbing like a fighter jet :)
May I ask a basic MCC/CRM question: why are you hand flying and handling the radios yourself at the same time?
And pushing buttons?!
I would like to see the body angle limitation of Lear, I would't guess it is as high as 30° if, for example, one engine fails...
Your attention to the aircraft must be on top to not let it get ahead of you! I'll bet you're concentrating so much on keeping everything safe that you don't even feel it.
Loved it!
brought back memories!
Carlos Bolivar thanks!
I love it. I love this plane. Good job!
Thank you Luis!
Does the Pilot once look out the window?
The 45 is the best of the Lear bunch👍

Learjet 55 - 60????
no "positive rate" callout?
It would be undeniable by the time he called it! LOL.

Great. 😎
Can we charter your plane?
It's kind of a fighter jet departure 😀
Kind of :)

engwedu jesse thank you! We were flying ferry and we wanted to get as much performance as possible as we got unrestricted climb
@@TheFlyingLife must have been really exciting climbing that steep and fast.
The pilot's head is buried in the cockpit; is the co-pilot watching for traffic? Also, good-bye Learjet. You've had a good run and will be missed.

Almost 30 degree climb angle for a short time!!
You know, I never understood why guys wear their blazers while flying; if it's cold I completely understand🤔.
It's simple :) I really need all these pockets :)

Didn't know the lear 60 was single pilot!
You said it brother...
Wait what makes you say that ?
It isn't, but it can be flown by a single pilot
The FO IS there. Can't you hear him calling out A/Speeds, etc & picking up the gear?
Yu. An head and see the FO!

I miss the 60, Airbus is very boring.
Gee…. The guy in the left seat must have been the captain. But what really would have convinced me if he were wearing the hat with scrambled eggs.
