    I bought the book and it is really great! There are thousands of instructional books for guitars, but this is a special one and outstanding and even for me playing 45 years guitar it is super interesting!

    You mean there's explanations to get a warmer tone? (you know, what im always gushing over your ability to do)
    I think,
    I'm going to have to pick this up Will.

      Well I certainly dive into a few ways of how you can look at tone development, so you may find that interesting! If you do grab a copy I hope you enjoy!

    I'll check out your book, Will. 💜 Incidentally, as a Fylde guitar player/fan, what do you think of the Ariel Single Malt model and have you played one?

    • @will_mcnicol
      @will_mcnicol  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks very much! I haven't played a Single Malt Ariel, but I've played plenty of 'standard' Ariels with various wood combinations and think it's a fabulous model of guitar. I have some recordings of me playing mine on my channel if you've seen? Obviously the nature of the Single Malt Ariel is that material selection is massively reduced, so there may be some compromise in terms of the tone, but it's undoubtedly visually stunning!

      Indeed. There are a few video examples of the Single Malt Ariel on UA-cam. I'm very familiar with the standard cedar/mahogany tone, depending on who's playing. There's a couple of custom built models played by John Smith and Tristan Seume as well, both of which sound great. Thanks for your reply, Will. @@will_mcnicol
