So, the whole video is basically a troll because the main part that was supposed to be in it was totally absent, they should have just played a Rick Roll video right at the beginning 😜
If these TransAm cars replaced the current cars in NASCAR, and there were more road courses, I would return to watching it. These TransAmSeries cars are awesome.
NASCAR road races are fun to watch, but the cars are not set up for road courses. I’m pretty sure a TA car would eat them up. It would be great to see a heads up race between the two series at Daytona on the road course.
@@timeatak5248 this is a great idea! Though both are doing road america now. Well, actually i think Trans Am is skipping road america now that nascar cup is doing it with the Xfinity series. Hopefully they'll get back next year. But after the nascar race this year, we should be able to at least compare times!
@@lakeshoresubtleties The lap time comparison at RA will be a good measure. I still think a TA car would do better but a stock car does have a high power to weight ratio.
What the ....... TRANSAM! , who's editing? Its right in the Title. Should say.....Onboard, except for the part with the corkscrew that everyone wants to see and waits for but gets edited to a corner camera just as the car reaches the corkscrew and then back to the Onboard after the car goes through the corkscrew.
"Laguna Seca Corkscrew from Trans Am Driver Perspective (Onboard)".... Im pretty sure that would have been nice to see...If it was ACTUALLY in the video.....
It would be great to watch this series being raced with actual pontiac trans am's, gto's, gtp grand prix' .. all a dream. Also would be nice replacing the mustang with cadillac or monte carlo
I drove this track in a skip barber open wheel mazda, and to my surprise, the most difficult turns for me were turn 4 (second right hander - it's very flat, so you basically want to do your braking early & accelerate through it and get traction to the rear, if i remember correctly) and by far, turn 9 (similar approach, definitely want the weight on the rear - it's a decreasing radius downhill flat left after the corkscrew). Corkscrew is reasonably easy to navigate effectively if you get your braking & entry points right, but is tricky to get absolutely perfect where you just feel like you nailed it. It's so gratifying when you do, though.
This class kind of resembles a asphalt super latemodel abc sanction type of body pretty cool I do know that our teach guy Ricky Brooks tech's this class cuse they said it is very similar to a asphalt super latemodel and he is the best tech guy for those in the United states
The corkscrew is the only place it wasnt onboard
Total click bait.
Yeah TA does not upload videos very well compared to IMSA or GTworld.
the corkscrew reports everyone who doesn’t respect its privacy

These TransAmSeries cars are awesome.
NASCAR has 6 or 7 road races in the current series, they also just did a dirt oval.
👍🏻

Exactly, so disappointed!!

But the onboard "driver's perspective" view cuts out RIGHT before the corkscrew! Rubbish.
This is the best prank video I've ever seen
Why would you change the camera angle from POV right when the driver enters the CorkScrew!?!?
Is that not the title of your video?
Why did it cut away?
The corkscrew is the only corner they didnt show onboard!! How stupid!

Where is the onboard !! All i saw was cars on a track

Nice video! Thanks!
YOU SHOWED EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE CORCKSCREW YOU HACKS! 😂
it's tantamount to Ali's infamous "rabbit punch" to Liston... no one's seen it
Mmmmmh.... that sound!! 😊
I'm still waiting.
What a lemon. Cuts offboard at the corkscrew.
