What If You Brought Proof of Virgil's Survival to Doctor Li Before She Asks?

Have you ever considered what would happen if you brought proof that Virgil is still alive to Doctor Madison Li before she asks for it in Fallout 4? Here's what she says if you bring her the proof after she requests it. But what if you find the holotape with the proof before she even asks for it? To test this, I agreed to the Father's offer to join the Institute, and he sent me on a small mission. I needed to talk to Doctor Li. But instead of going to her right away, I went straight to Virgil's abandoned lab, found the holotape there, and only then went to Doctor Li. Here’s the conversation we had.

Yeah the institute is only good for survival difficulty for the fast travel but if ur not playing survival go for the brotherhood. The institute has horrible weapons and the synth relay grenades aren’t useful

Maybe I'm just too nice, but after I cured Virgil, I actually left a suit of x-01 power armor for him modified for radiation exposure just as a gift encase he wants to leave. Yes, I know he won't leave but it's the thought that counts.

Ah, see, I had heard that you could tell Li about Virgil, but I never had the prompt. Was it because I can only do it if I am with the Brotherhood and need to convince Doctor Li to join? If so, I guess I missed it by always passing Charisma checks.

Honestly, I don't know why, but when I did that, I didn't have this dialogue option at all. There was only an up arrow, but there was nothing above it and when I clicked on it, nothing happened.

I convinced Li to join the Brotherhood, threatened to shoot her if she didn't fix Liberty Prime, then destroyed the Brotherhood. For some reason, it maxed Caits affinity for me 😂
