- Have you ever wondered what would happen if you started killing everyone in the Institute in Fallout 4? To find out, I first joined the Institute. As soon as Father began to trust me, I decided to start a shootout right there. My actions triggered a new quest, instructing me to escape from the Institute. So, I fought my way through hordes of synths and angry scientists to the teleport room and activated the emergency relay
If you off father a random voice from the institute gives you a stern warning lol
I’ve done this and I got no voice maybe it was cuz I killed everyone haha

The MC is littrally a stranger to Father, hell he's directly working with the rail road, yet he trusts the MC , puts him as the head of the institute and makes sure he has a place called home and gives him the Synth son to remember him by
@@flashback0180if he wanted to “give you a home and a family” he could have sent a group of institute coursers to retrieve you from the vault and teleport you directly to the institute. He decided to make you a social experiment instead. He even admits that “he didn’t know if you’d survive the wastelands”. What kind of XXL crack pipe you smoking out of?
Well technically he did remotely open your pod so you could leave the vault at the beginning.

In my first play through, as soon as father opened the door I blew him away and was like, "that's for kidnapping my son you bastard"
Ironic, considering he's the son.
The weird part is that you can kill everyone there… literally every. Single. Person. And you still have to blow it up later

This is actually part of the way to get the best ending where Brotherhood, Minutemen and Railroad all end up as allies
It annoys me that one man armying the Institute isn't enough. Literally nobody was left alive in there when I left. Did they have a second teleporter relay to a DEEPER sub-basement?
No. They had technology to reanimate the dead. Gross and disturbing

If you kill shaun too a random voice will come on the speakers saying somthing like "how could you kill your own son" and then somthing about being banished from the institute

I literally did this once. I joined the BOS, teleported to the institute, killed father on sight, and handled the rest with an heavily heavily modded explosive auto 10MM
Wow, I never thought I could actually feel bad for what I did to the institute until I heard this lecture from my son of all people.
I did this in my first playthrough. No regrets
There was no institute when I left.

For me when I killed everyone like 200 hundred synths spawned in two different spots both you get there with an elevator
That’s what I did and I didn’t realize father was my son and my last save for some reason was from 3 hours ago
I don't need to wonder. I've done it almost every playthrough. Clear those suckers out.

Nothing more fun than raiding the institute with the brotherhood
For me, as soon as he called Nora collateral damage, he sealed the fate of the institute. Plus, he did not do shit for you. He released you from cryo as a sort of experiment to see what you will do and how long you will survive.
I waited until Father was on his deathbed and he pretty much gave me the same speech after siding with a different faction.
Huh? This is what I do in every run, right after the Railroad
Basically it moves you to the point of no return with BOS. They have plot armor on the important NPCs to that point I assume.
But if you kill everything, why do you need to escape?
Could be a great settlement, but I guess you would still have to help them from time to time ... 😂
@@chrisd.6014it’s not a settlement because it can’t get attacked, which is why Preston wanted to destroy it

Final monologue for some reason triggered this in my brain:

I didn't even quicksave before the blow out, I know I won't regret this decision specifically.
Aaaand Shaun could teleport you inside of a rock, but choose to let you live to see another day....
Shaun took a shotgun blast for that comment about his mother's death. When Kait and I came back in power armor with a mini gun, no evacuation order was given.
Surprised you didn't mention the two synths that spawn in the tunnel for every scientist you kill. Poor PS4 struggled to handle that, took half a minute to throw a Molotov.
The quicksave feature is so amazing
On my first playthrough, I assumed I was looking for an infant so I gathered things like baby bottles and blocks for when I found him. Then they said he was 10ish and I was sad but started putting aside toys and comics. Then Shaun told me the truth and I don't think I took it very well since I immediately shot him in the face and rampaged my way through the Institute.
A different guy talks to you if you kill father.
I didn't even let Shaun speak to me last time, I just mowed him down and then every single named scientist and non-named npc and synth. I still got the serum for Virgil, I'm not a monster

Somehow no one is talking about thr behemoth getting food from the synth at the beginning. My guy was hungry
If you do this before you have done any institute missions and use the power armor glitch to get through the locked door into the rest of the facility it's really broken lol
Sided with the BOS in mass fusion, went straight to the castle and got prompty attacked by the Institute. All this to to make the ending sync with the tv show.
But the Institute HAS been trying to kill you. Every synth tries to kill you all the time.
If you shoot Father on first contact and leave, they shame you for killing your son and call you a murderer for 10 seconds.
You know, it’s ironic, you kill your son, they tell you “how could you do that?! He was your son!”
Now imagine you shot him the first time without knowing that, the institutes logic sucks
This was the first thing I did when I got to the institute on play through 1. 1400 hrs later and I still haven’t gotten back into the institute

I recently did this but I killed father, he still came back from the dead to say his line.
This also happens if you join the institute while with the brotherhood of steel. One of the quests where you get a part for liberty prime. After you do the quest, you get the mission called banished from the institute, and that’s when father tells you this message when you go back
i always save it and play out all ways i want to see happen

With the latest fallout update, the number of synths that spawn to fight you, the game crashes on ps5.

I did this and it gave me dialog saying I killed the father too which I may have lol. I was just blasting
Funny story; on my latest playthrough I planned to drop a piggy nuke right in the director's meeting, and sing the first verse to "Warpigs" while I did it. Problem was, I kept getting the angles wrong and blew myself up 5 times before I got it right, so by the time I was saying "Generals gathered in their masses" it was with pure sarcasm.
There is no family for him at the institute. Shaun dies shortly after you join the institute. It's better to just do him in and join the BoS
I did this my first play through then I went and killed the brother good resulting in the minute men and the railroad teeming up

I glitched through a door and got down to the lower levels after killing father. Ended up facing off against I shit u not, like 300 synths. They just kept piling up. I think I got to where they spawn from. Mods r nuts

I went down the elevator, tried to pickpocket a courser to test out my maxed pickpocket perk… didn’t get the roll💀 took care of every one on the main floor. (Before Li gave me the teleporter) so I head back up to leave only to find 70-100 no lie maybe I’m exaggerating but it was like when you spawn 1000 creepers in one little room in Minecraft type of packed.💀 I just stayed still in awe as they offed me in a couple seconds in full X01 pa😂

I chose the railroad for my so far only game and that was the right choice I have Shaun back in a synth form but he doesn’t knows that

Make a NPC capable of destroying the institute single-handedly (not libterty prime) and see how that faction reacts in the main questline
I killed father the first time I entered the institute and nothing happened. Literally strolled there and no one said a thing..

If we compare the institute with the tecnology created on big moutain, teleportation isn't that big difference because this existed before 2287 i dont remember the year in fallout 4 but i think is that
I killed father on sight. His last words were hello. I didnt do the computer either so i had to cheat to escape and there w were 30 synth soldiers waiting for me
I did this twice. It was so easy. It only took me one weapon and about 100 ammo.
scientists don't actually attack you i think...
Try the game with the mod War Never Changes, on Xbox and PC (may/may not be on PlayStation).
Firefights are intense.
I did this with a mod and it started the quest institutionalized

Meanwhile, literally every synth and scientist is lying dead on the floor. I, uh, don't think that's a very strong threat there buddy. It would've been more of a twist if your characters gets vaporized in the chamber because of some override the Institute top brass can do to change from teleportation to disintegration. Then the voice instead says, "Say hello to your spouse... IN HELL!"
I did that a few times just for fun right after a quicksave lol i took out every single person there except obviously the children 😂 and those that couldn't be killed
How can they threaten to kill you for crossing them when you literally killed everyone of them? 😂
Through all my playthroughs I blew up the institute 😂
The reason the other three aren’t in the movie is because Simon Belmont or Alucard killed them in Castlevania

I did this, but i killed father first. That stuff over the intercom didnt play for me. Lol
