I make marinara often but I use crushed tomatoes. I’ve adapted the recipe to cook it in the crockpot years ago - I put a little garlic and oil and cook them together and then I place them in the crockpot. Top it with a can of crushed tomato, a little water, some tomato paste, a tsp of allulose (or stevia, instead of sugar), a 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and some herbs (Penzey’s Tuscan Sunset, or Pasta Sprinkle or Spiceology’s Spicy Italian or Greek Freak). Put it on high for 3 hours. Done. I also make it in the Instant Pot and cook it on high pressure for 20 minutes. It is wonderful.
Great video as always Jen! I just used your Factor Meal code and am excited for my 1st order to come! Im on ketovore and i think this will save me a lot of time! I work a fulltime and a part time job, my kids are now graduated, so perfect for just me😊 Agree with you about therapy! My therapist has truly been a life saver!
I make Marinara sauce from scratch but I cook it in the oven ina big Dutch oven. I stir it once every hour. Then when it's almost done, I like to take the lid off for 5-10 minutes. It's soooo good.
Great video! Speaking of picky eaters, my kids stopped eating spaghetti noodles when they were 6 & 7. They told us *after* we'd made a huge pot. They eat any other type of pasta and, luckily, we hadn't mixed the pasta with the sauce, so it wasn't a complete loss.😄
12:10pm here in Adelaide South Australia. So hello. 👋 I need to find red jalapeños. I never ever knew they existed. Wanna make some red jalapeño poppers. Are they the same heat as the green? Usually I listen while doing housework but my 11 week old son wants a feed and needs a sleep before we get his older brothers from school early for end of term 3 holidays. So thank you for the video, I enjoyed watching. 💕
The tomatos here were AWFUL! No matter how much salt it was like eating a cantaloupe. & my favorite house with an honor system didn't do it this year and those were the best tomatoes I've had in my whole life.

The best way I found to cook corn on cob is in my power xl pressure cooker. So fast and you don't have to deal with the boiling water!

Growing up if we didn’t eat what Mum cooked we went hungry. Mum didn’t make individual meals to cater to our likes/dislikes
