Sea Dragon Observatory | Subnautica |

Deep beneath the labyrinth caverns that is the Lost River is the Inactive Lava Zone. This is a semi-volcanic region found from a depth of 900 to 1300 meters, a depth only preceding the Lava Lakes and the Void itself. Due in part to the high pressure and extreme temperatures, few creatures call this infernal region home. This region however, is home to the 112 meter Sea Dragon Leviathan, a monstrous, endangered species even capable of killing Reaper Leviathans. This base allows particularly daring individuals to observe the fauna and geology for extended durations compared to a traditional submarine.

A Sea Dragon observatory might be nice in my world, but both of my Sea Dragons clipped through the walls and disappeared.

Just a note, you could add external spotlights to attempt to see something in that dark

A word of warning, if you ever go down there with a cyclops, don't park it next to the base. Even if you arent in it the sea dragon could push it into your base. and if that happens... lets just hope you have bulkheads. Other than that nice base dude!

Ik im late but I play on switch it crashes a lot did u have any annoying crashes during this because the lava zone is where my switch crashes the most?

I personally haven’t had any problems with crashing on Xbox, although it has gotten really laggy at times

Did u use the cyclops to build that huge base? Without it, It could take hours of going back and forth.

Yes, I have lots of storage in my cyclops, so I use it a temporary base of operations when building the habitats

How do you build the ladder sideways?
When i try to do it the ladder just faces forwards instead of sideways

It depends on the direction the base is facing, sadly there is no way to alter it manually:(
