Agreed
You need to do better than this - just recycled PR shots and waffle
Long live the 2012 L332 Autobiography. It had curves, it had depth, inside and out. Everything flowed like Lava even though it was Boxy. They will never ever make anything like the L332. The best thing about the L322 is the Revised Rear Bumper along with the front Upgraded Facia and side skirts. It Oozed Class.that was only on the 2012’s. Only 500 made and 50 Ultimate Edition Autobiography🤤😋. Then came the Semi Disaster next Gen Range Rover and Rover Sport and lost a bit of fan base to be fair. And now they’ve just completely butchered it.
Absolutely love your work, classy and engaging as it comes in terms of cinematography and quality of journalistic insight. I couldn't believe I wasn't already subscribed.
Hello
I was disappointed from the spy shots but when the car finally came out, man it's so fabulous 😍
Love it. Inside and out.
If you must drive an office-block on wheels, that is one of the nicest I've seen.
Not a Range Rover fan, or more accurately SUV's to be honest, but.... That looks really good. Great design.
Not for me. The rear end has massive gap of empty space above the plate.
@@NRNProductionsYT still better than x6
@@NRNProductionsYT I think it makes it stand out from the other Land Rover models and plus it makes it look bigger and more imposing
The most beautiful SUV I've ever seen. I adore this brand
Your opinion will change after really owning one. Unreliable car brand.
@@maarten8959 I've owned two. Great cars. People with that opinion have either never owned one, or owned one 30yrs ago and think is still the same company
@@maarten8959 Public insurance claims filed over the last years corroborate your claim?
Can we still have SVR version with 5.0 supercharger engine?
4:50 “…surrounded by tech and badgers” - I’m in, but I want the badgers to be standard. Nothing worse than an optional badger.
Not a fan of the rear end. Looks too tall. Love every other exterior angle and interior though. It looks quality. Top notch coverage as usual by Carfection.
They made it so similar to the Velar that they couldn’t figure out a way to differentiate them enough, other than making the rear end taller 😂
They ruined it.
I prefer it to the discovery tall rear end
@@BARATTI99 What puzzle’s me is that they are so fixated on the styling of the Velar…their lowest selling, somewhat confused and least popular model of all.
@@HQBProductions I happen to like it very much instead.
The slightly redesigned front we see here, coupled with a hopefully retained rear end, would finally make the Velar just perfect.
If they bring out an SVR version, I'll have it. 100%!
They will
Could you guys please put the music you use in your videos in the description.?
Looks fly.
Any news about the svr?
A 2 ton luxury brick shouldn't be called "sport" but what do I know about selling a brand. I guess sumo is technically a sport.
it's the sportier version of the og range rover. that does not mean it's sporty though
YES PLEASE !
THE BEST👌✔️
Just wondering if it comes with the check engine light already on
😄 it's confirmed! It will finally be a standard feature
No just in - it’s a £10k option
wow so orginal and funny. what a dad joke
“STILL THE BEST”✔️👌
Cheshire and Cockswolds are ready to buy them up
Im going to buy this car!
Yes please
“Masterpiece”
Looks good in the repair shop
Always preferred a proper leather interior, it's not like cows aren't sustainable is it.
Yeah it's not like we are going to stop eating meat anytime soon!
What colour red is that, nice colour
The back end is so much fail. The plate is to low, the tail lamps look like from a Velar & it also has Disco styling cues. Hard nope.
I think you are on your own. An X5, X6 and all Audi Qs are hideous. This is very pleasing on the eye
@@peanuts2105 this costs more than those
@@olly9825 yeah but tbh it's more special than a plain x5. I see bmw's and audis all day long. This car would make public roads a little more interesting, and range rovers are very desired in switzerland
@@olly9825 because it's better and more upper class
It looks absolutely magnificent I have to say! 😍
Love it ♥️ I’ll have V8 for sure 🥰
Is there any need for a RR Velar after that?
On price point, definitely
I dont like new steering weel design. Old one looked cooler.
Looks really, really nice.
Front end looks sharp but what is that rear end...
Ikr
Crazy awesome design & technology and the color is orgasmic
the front looks overstyled, but the back looks understyled
Uuum. Nice shoes.
Finally a small grill
Gorgeous, and thank goodness we can still have our V8😍
The only thing I like about it is the Red
It looks like a chevy
@@MrHejnis not a single chevy matches this peak of design
Stunning! The 'teasers' have not done it justice. The design language is astonishing. So clean and minimalist. Nothing comes close. If the tech is sound then once again Range Rover have set a new benchmark. Still the one to have. If you have the money! Thank you. Great review.
I like it...
Woahhh this looks cool :D. And this came out before the actual premiere 😅
My God, you just can't get bored with those Exteriors...
That Vehicle is Insanely Classy , Modern and POSH...
And the Interiors....OH MY GOODNESS!! That Display placement, the the buttons ..WOW!
_FYI : if a hooligan is driving then the poshness is gone_
Jesus! It's SOOO clean!!! I love it!!!
Unlike yo moma..
You all complaining that it looks like the discovery. What if the sport came before discovery would you complain that it looks like sport? I don’t understand those complaints.
It’s awkward that the end is tall but it’s not ugly and it goes against the conventions so I respect that aspect.
I hate to be negative as I've loved carfection from the start, but these "let's film us sitting in a car at a press launch" videos are getting pretty tiresome and I find it a shame that you're doing them as well now. This isn't really the sort of thing I thought the channel was about.
The only reason why they do that is because the car itself is not ready for road driving review.
More uploads = more clicks = more ads = more income = more of the uploads you like.
If you don't like the 'advertorial' uploads then don't watch them. Simple!
It's a Range Rover. That's what they're like to own: non-drivable, you can look around and sit in them while waiting for the repair appointment.
You do realise this is due to the vehicle being pre launch right? These are the first views the world's press get
Love that, nice simplistic details. Most suvs are over fussy. This is tastefully done.
Looks horrible
@@jssandhu3581 why tell someone who thinks it looks nice, that you think it looks horrible ???
This is all very well but... why do you have two watches?
Rear looks straight out of China, tbh.
Which Chinese car specifically?
@@Clavinovaman It’s just a thing they say when they don’t like a car’s styling, and can’t properly elaborate why. Blame China.
So all the great hosts were busy?
cool
Ngl I thought this was a facelift evoque at first 💀
As underwhelming as the new Vogue to be honest, both small facelifts that didn’t really improve either of them just made them look a little more modern 😶 some parts look better on them some worse.
I believe the phrase is ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. Mercedes’ & BMW for example have ruined some of their models by going OTT trying to change the design, personally think this will be a big hit, looks different enough to notice it straight away on the road.
Rear looks like a Jeep
This honestly looks nothing like the outgoing Range Rover Sport. Not even close.
@@ld9387 Specsavers do free eye tests bud 👍🏻🥸
@@ld9387 the front end most definitely looks exactly like the outgoing L494… it’s only the unattractive rear end and interior where change is significant. Not worth the money in my opinion, I’d still take a facelift SVR from the previous gen over this.
First time that I like the standard model more than Sport.
The design of the back is "too tall' and looks pretty strange...
Everything else is really spectacular.
Except the exorbitant price increase to account for any future inflation...
So close to that milli subs guys!!!
Disco 5 and evoque had a baby
Better design than BMW, especially the front
Love the new look, so clean.
This is what the word gopping was invented for.
The sound is off. If it was a picture I would say the saturation was turned up too high. It's just too much sound for the level of volume.
Another success I should imagine, it's gorgeous
I notice the exterior doesn't have the same gills behind the front wheels as the full Range Rover. It looks fine without them, but I suppose they help differentiate the full RR from the Sport.
thats always been the case lol
Evolution. Once upon a time, those gills served a real purpose and then evolved into a styling motif. Like in biological evolution, all obvious traces will disappear over time.
@@TheLoathsomeCowboy They are the equivalent of a vestigial tail.
@@earthstick Exactly!
Reliability and Resale value will always be its Achilles heel.
Waiting for my Lexus LX600
How about living with it day-to-day, it has to deliver - and hopefully it will.
If JLR can only be consistently reliable. I may consider one again. I just lemoned a Jaguar I-PACE.
What does "lemoned " mean?
So what, exactly, justifies the Sport label?
Now we just need Tony Stark to review it, in this colour 😬
With the bad Rep. these cars have i am surprised JLR haven’t gone bankrupt.
Tata been pumping money like it's growing on trees
Damm! this colour makes me very happy 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Range Rovers have always oozed Class and this new Sport iteration is no different. The outside is slick and rounded while the interior with its lack of leather and gorgeous lines really send the New model forward into the future.
Very well done Range Rover!
Wow 😍
It is so so good!
Great to see a car from the legacy car manufacturers that actually look good!
Best…I think it’s on my wishlist already
Ah finally a car I can use in london!
Also plastic seats aren’t environmentally friendly
And microplastic is harmful
I love how they didn't just call the engine what it is: a BMW N63
@@SupremeTelly Clearly, you don't own an S63. They may not sound good, but they're incredible. The torque curve is unreal.
Beautiful
Not an suv or RR fan at all but JLR design is looking really good at the moment. Especially when you compare with German rivals which are looking more ridiculous and ugly by the day.
The clean lines make it look pin-sharp
saying that yet again this car uses a 4.4 liter twin turbo v8 sourced from bmw
@@AGZFreddy1983 one of the engine options yes. I'm just talking about design, purely how it looks.
@@AGZFreddy1983 What does looks have to do with an engine?
@@AGZFreddy1983 has nothing to do with design. This thing looks interesting compared to relatively boring q7s, x5s or gle's
What’s up with RR using BMW engines? I thought they were going to utilize the Ingenium line to produce inline 6’s and such to avoid having to use other OEMs offerings.
Only the V8 is a BMW engine the rest are their own Ingenium.
@@fuelerinc1347 yeah that’s what I was referring to, just seems strange to tap BMW for something they pretty much already had a mill for.
everyone's downsizing, the 5.0 wasn't super efficient anyways despite how much it was loved. The bmw 4.4 is relatively characterless unfortunately.
@@ALMX5DP You said it yourself ingenium engines are V6’s. The contract with Ford for the supercharged V8 is finished & engine is retired. The previous generation Range Rover’s used to use BMW engines so using the V8 again for P530 & SVR.
@@johnguidetti5839 inline 6’s but yeah I guess I just figured JLR would stay in house with an engine lineup they’ve been developing for just this purpose, and not have to pay another company to use an engine that isn’t that much more than what they currently offer.
I can't understand why BMW couldn't make the headlights similar to these in their new 7 series 😕
bmw has the best laser lights
@@luciifer666 correction... design of the headlights not the technology itself
Cos they lost the plot
Not completely sold if I’m honest
4.0 V8, that won’t pass gas stations often.
Love it
What happened to the rear end, did the designers run out of breath? it's basically a brick with the edges smoothened out, without bothering to add any detailing.
Open the boot, sit in the rear seat, you missed all of this?!
Nice car
Really interested to see how manufacturers like Land Rover differentiate between models like these when they go fully electric. At least in ICE guise, you can tell the difference (especially in the character of the engine and exhaust tune)
When both the Range Rover and Sport have powerful, heavy battery packs, the only perceivable difference I suspect will be the size. They’ll both be quick and quiet. One just smaller than the other.
Stunning…absolutely stunning.
I reckon it looks better in person.
It does.
What a great colour and yes I would buy one
Beautiful...
Yeah, I've hated everything since the Velar except Defender, which has a useless side-hinged tailgate. This just looks silly. The fact that they chose "sustainable" materials in a car with a V8 option sums it up quite well.
Also sustainable was about the plastic interior lol.
I hope real leather will still be available
WOW looks so much better than the New Range Rover, It seems to take a lot of design cues from the Velar yet still making it look like the outgoing Range Rover Sport.
Honestly, Range Rover just knows design, they know exactly how to make a car look sexy.
SHOULD!
Has it got TECH TO SUMMON A BREAKDOWN TRUCK every 3 month
Its very clearly built off the discovery
Glad they didn’t ruin the styling.
me like it!🤩
Still 994K subscribers 😶
I have a bread bin that looks very similar.
