We are so damn close to one million subscribers! If you enjoy our films but for some reason haven't hit that button yet, please do and help us hit that massive milestone. 🚗🎯🙌🏆
I thought the thumbnail was forza horizon with a highend graphics
we need to get away from that 996
Would you really want to do business with someone that was so overtly deceptive from the outset? Naming his company after a German aerospace engineer while he is actually an Asian BMW enthusiast! No fanks.
We all wear sunglasses 👓 in California.
@@_Chev_Chelios Lololol - he could be from Mars, and I would buy his catch if it had Henry's seal of approval. And also the disposable income. Can't forget about that part! 😜
21:9 ratio was perfect. Love the low shots of the road and wheels in motion.
2.35:1 to be precise
This makes the 993 just beautiful. I see nothing cartoony in this at all. What I like most is that they haven't done 1,000 HP or anything crazy. This is like a Miata - you need to ring it out to get the most out of it. I can attest, if you can drive a Miata fast then you get what it is to be a good driver. Yes, this is far superior to any Miata, I get that. Just saying that this is a great mindset for this build and the company. Hats off to them!
@James T Your right. People gravitated towards the 911 for that very reason. Subtility not technicality.
this dont have Miata numb steering and body roll
@@ollolol7879 you just didn't get it buddy
That front end looks like a kit car. I rather have a Singer.
@@funtihleslie7351 nope. while porsche made 2 subtle 993´s in the carrera and carrera s they also made 3 that were absolutely ridiculous in the carrera rs, turbo and gt2. this is definitely on the subtle side.
Beautiful in every way, the fact that it sounds like that feels like over indulgence. I like these type of builds because they really do allow us youngins to be curious and appreciate the older models of brands and what they truly meant.
As much as this car is incredibly cool bro. Do some history research on the original 993 porsches and also the aircooled engines. Trust me. Your appreciation will deepen. Porsches have a rich history
@@jarrodnaidoo shut up bro, you are ruining it
I saw an old 911 at an intersection doing a sharp left turn at what seemed like 30-35 MPH, that image will be forever burned into memory. Nothing cooler than seeing all four wheels stick to the ground and see the entire body of a car dig into a turn instead of rolling in the opposite direction.
the 21:9 aspect ratio looks incredible, please make use of it in your longer more visually focused videos!
21:9 supremacy.
That magic one million number!
Come on boys let's help them reach it today.
All these restomods make me appreciate the stock 911s more :)
Good Friday Mr Catchpole. I wish I could accurately express just how much I want a 911. They are perfect in almost every way a car guy looks for in a car IMO.
I love my 17 manual coupe, wouldn’t let it go unless I could afford a GT3!
@@obi-wankenobi7160 hello there.
There is no other car like 911 right ? The pinnacle.
Currently watching this at...... *996K* subscribers. Too good to be a coincidence.
I'll be honest.....I'm pretty sure that aspect ratio only really works for full screen viewing, but then the viewing experience is SO GOOD that any inconveniences cease to matter. Another enthralling film by Carfection.
Spotters badge for that..
I believe this is a rerun
yeah I think so too! the m3 over the years the other day was too
Well that's exactly what it says in the description
With moaaaar.
There have been be a few of these reruns recently
It's been remastered
OMG this video is beautiful. Everytime a restomod shows up, the passion really translates through
I absolutely loved the 21:9. I have an ultra-wide and its so rare to be able to watch something or someone i enjoy as much as you filling the full thing out.
The video was great. The 21:9 ratio was great to watch for me. What a splendid job by everyone involved.
Amazing, thank you for remastering this!!
Love the aspect ratio, and loved the car, I'm new to the whole Porsche thing, but after a month of ownership, I don't want to ever have anything else, keep up the good work.
21:9 all the way!!!
Presentation and production is definitely at the same if not higher level than these cars itself.
makes my forehead feel closer to the ceiling, whats is wrong with you people
This channel is sooo good, every review is so detailed and such a vibe 👌
Thank-you sooo much dude
Ok let me just say this, you guys have started this year on a bang … superb videos ever since the defender in Africa .. keep all these coming :) 😎👍 This is exactly what we are here for: Car-Perfection… what a car this one is!! And yes!! Great aspect Ratio on the wide screen 😎👍
Hey guys loved the remaster, and 21:9, looked absolutely gorgeous, now can we get that but for the Viper ACR :p
Perfect on my Ultra-Wide
i would love to see the viper as well with that aspect ratio
loved the video
Amazing, loved it! Even had goose bumps with the sound on headphones. 👍🏼
Cinematography and your story telling is just exquisite Henry. Love your content brother.
Watching HC blast through those tunnels in the Speedster, wow. Stuff that dreams are made of. I offer you lot my own Vatanen salute. Amazing video.
Love The Aspect Ratio. Brilliant Filming on this one . amazing review as always .Greetings from Kampala, Uganda
Bravo Henry! Awesome video 👏👏👏❤️💪
Absolutely amazing ..amazing sound through those tunnels..Gunther knocked it out of the park again..well done
21:9 is great!
Beautifully shot film, as always. Great presentation too.
Lovely start to a Saturday morning. Thanks Henry.
Holy crap I didn't realize until the end that it was 21:9! It was so glorious I was lost in the content. More of this; yes please!
Beautiful shots, well done
OMG....what an incredible car and incredible video....Wow....what more can I say!!
Oh bloody hell We all enjoyed that!!! Thanks
Man your videography is top notch!
Jeff Gamroth! Haven't heard that name for a while! Legend! But these cars, like all the resto-mods, are just the same as we all did on our own Porsches in our own garage. And it didn't cost $$$ My fave was a 72T with 935 flares and a 2.8l RS spec engine with 906 cams and 48 Webers. Pulled 9k rpm with ease. Car was about 2100lbs, easy 300hp, rocket. All Porsche...
Another cracking review. Nobody communicates the love of driving enthusiasm as succesfully as Henry (aka Smiler) does.
How you guys don’t have 1 million subs yet is beyond me. The production quality of these videos is phenomenal! The cinematography is exceptional. These videos feel like they should be on a major network, not UA-cam. Your commentary is concise and well delivered. This is clearly a huge passion of yours, and I appreciate you sharing it with us. Quite frankly, I think you’re better than Chris Harris. Keep up the amazing work!
They have
Amazing Video!!! Well done!
as a decades-long fan of editing... this is artfully done. nice work!!!
21:9 ratio is perfect. It fills my phones screen perfectly and wish all videos were in this aspect. Oh and amazing video, 👏

Awesome work as always. That million is just around the corner.
Beautiful video! Great job
You can thank my love for Porsche for this sub.
Nice vid, even nicer cars.
Henry and a 911 a match made in heaven! The best car reviewer and the greatest car end of! 👍
My god that was brilliant!
Yes (21:9) is very nice just like Guntherwerks is!
Keep them coming guys.
Oh wow 👌 absolutely fantastic
Great production!
Seeing his smile in the reflection of the side view mirror has told me everything I need to know of this car
Henry: I wanted to find out from Peter, what the aim or philosophy of Guntherwerks is...
Peter: It's to, you know...blah, blah, blah (Read: Well you know what Rob Dickinson [Singer Design] did with the 964? Yea...that...but with the 993.)
Can we just keep it real?
Agree. Even NASA had to keep it real. Also, I understand Guntherwerks only makes cars in California yet the hardtop is licensed in Arizona and the topless in Montana. I believe it is because California has strict rules and cars such as Guntherwerks and Singer do not conform. Does anyone know if they can be licensed in the EU or Japan where emission of pollutants and noise are even more strict? Nice video though--and I hope Henry used lots of sunscreen.
Wow, that car sounds phenomenal and hits all the performance queues.. Very Nice!!
Perfect aspect ratio for my Sony Xperia 1iii. Great video as always on a brace of truly wonderful cars. Atb.
Very very good video. Well done to all involved!
Oh man, i love th looks of this car so much! I need to experience this one day haha
Trully amazing production….Great video
My favorite na air cooled Porsche. There are great builders beyond stinger, and here is the Proof. Great car. Perfect, always,in carfection. Thanks Catchpole, for such an amazing work 👌👏👏👏
Tremendous. Thanks.
Nice review. Awesome car.
Damn that was sweet!
Great video great commentary
Absolutely in love
Superb video and car. Also like the 21:9 aspect ratio 👍. Keep em coming!
This channel is so good!
Aspect ratio is excellent. I really enjoyed this one.
Another aching beautiful production. Love the cinematic aspect ratio. Stick with it.
Great story! Loving the anamorphic look too!
It was, quite simply, car perfection!
Absolute joy to watch you enjoy yourself so much in a timeless classic brought to modernity 3.0 😊.
Loved 21:9 ratio too!
Cheers, keep em coming guys.
Lovely 😍
Vante en Salut ! Love it I use/think of that each time I need to in full sun.
I LOVE THIS ASPECT RATIO :-) And the Guntherwerks also
Dunno why but I got strong c'etait un rendez vous vibes from this, it was a joy to watch.
Love the coupe too, incredible car!
Beautiful cinematography
"Functionality comes before beauty, beauty is the end result of the functionality" this is the most beautiful line I have ever heard in automotive enthusiast world and surely that every genuine car enthusiast will be moved by this!! Well done Guntherwerks!!!
Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
Wow the cinematography is CARFECTION!
Insane Beautiful 🤩 Love the Color
Great film work very well done
Video and aspect ratio were fantastic!!
lovely video
beautiful
Yes the 21x9 ratio is best!
California does have some epic tunnels. If you want to have one of the loudest roar from your car. Try going from San Francisco to Oakland crossing the Bay Bridge. The underneath portion of the bridge you’re crossing makes a loud car sounds super nice.
15:09 what a fantastic shot! + i respect the brutal honesty. instant sub.
The car, good. The video production, absolutely amazing.
Porsche's classic curves from the past hit different.
I'm a simple man. I see a Catchpole, I watch to the end and click like. With coffee.
21:9 was perfect!
21:9 is perfect, nice video
Slaps indeed, slaps indeed
Fundamentally, the extended front tracks to match the rear just ruin the look of these cars somewhat, but great video!
0:50 I know it means the same thing, but I think it should be pointed out that the astronauts jokingly called him the "Pad Fuhrer" not "Pad Leader" - John Glenn called him "der Fuhrer of der Launch Pad." It wasn't meant as an insult, either, Gunter's strict attitude about the pad protocols and procedures earned him great respect from the astronaut corps.
