Damn, this video is like American politics: totally bogus yet somehow functioning and also making everyone fight and argue with each other. You do you, bro!
Seen this before. Friend of mine gaffer-taped a sander to an old paint can in which the parts were placed along with some gas. All came out shiny and new looking.
@@NastyCustoms5150 gasoline itself is the GREATEST for some stuff. Not the whole unit full of gas of course. Fill up a glass or peunutbutter jar with gas and set it on your screen. Works great. Obviously too aggressive for some things but not for carbs!
RIGHT, although the vibration will help to clean, its more like a washing machine. Ultrasonic cleaners (also known as ultrasonic baths) use ultrasound waves to clean objects. You may have heard the term "ultrasound" before, as it has long been used to produce images of babies from inside the womb. But that's not all they're good for. Ultrasound waves are high-frequency waves that produce a sound that humans cannot hear. Ultrasound waves are at least 20,000 Hz (20 kHz) while maxing out at around 100,000 Hz (or 100 kHz). Most humans can only hear sounds of up to 20,000 Hz (20 kHz). But while we may not be able to hear these waves, we can still make use of them.@@Fucknuts4u
Every vibrating object produces sound waves. You can even hear them in the video. The better question is whether the presence of higher frequencies really makes much of a difference.
could of at least used a plastic container and saved your eardrums. metal container on a sander 🤦♂️ also great job on explaining everything about this vibrating cleaning machine while it was turned on..
Typical podunk solution for a $50 item. Something that makes a ridiculously uncomfortable amount of noise and is not what is claimed. Yes, you can get an ultrasonic cleaner for $50. This is stupid. Of course he doesn't see why this wouldn't work... He built it. 🤦
And Jacob, I'll tell you now, there is NO ultrasonic cleaner capable of taking car parts available in the UK for less than £80 ($110 ). Let that sink in, America is NOT the inly country on the planet...now go away..
Also it IS working and IS working for his needs and IS inspiring to some viewers like ME im fixing to go make This right now i had same Idea disnt know if it would Work i dont have a trasonic cleaner but i do have a huge parts cleaner that is just too mich to work Wkth sometimes like one them dumpster kobsite toolboxes so i wanted somethinf like this wondered if an old sander would work by vibrating or do i use my Rock cleaner that i made with drawer sliders and an old sawzall and mesh now i saw this i IS going this route so to debbie downer u IS retarded go away 50 bucks my ass
Giing forward, someone else just justed velcro. I really like the water heater pan idea! Thanks.
Glad you got something out of it, thanks!

It’s very polarizing lmao

What gas?
@@conradpaul6100 Seriously? You don't know what gasoline is? 🤔
I need to do this! I built my own case cleaner for reloading out of a sander that actually works really good!
I still use the thing to this day so I would say it’s worth doing!
What us the mechanism atrached to the bottom of the tray? Sander?
Yes, just an old sander.
One of the best videos I’ve seen in a while!!
Thank you!
What if you put the sander on the lid and clamped it ?
That’s a good idea!
Purple Drank! You killed me!
Glad you got a laugh!
I bet one could measure the frequency of the water shake in there. Screw the nay sayers, it’s doing something.
Thank you! For as simple as it is it really works, haven't used any chemicals harsher than degreaser in it and haven't needed to.

Likely got some higher harmonics that work?
Sorry to tell you like the last comment; this is just a vibrator and not ultrasonic but hay, if it works?
I’m still impressed for no more than it is, added “ultrasonic” to the title not trying to be misleading. Thanks for watching though!
Hay is for horses! You lost all credibility when you don't know the difference between hay and hey.
@@Fucknuts4u hi I'm not English native, can you explain the difference between hay and hey? Thank you.
Genius son!
Hey man way to be innovative!!
not to piss on your picnic, but an ultrasonic cleaner works with sound waves , but if it works that's all that matters i guess😁
WRONG!

40Hz
Excellent, keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
I clean bearings in my ultrasonic cleaner for 5 mins, and they are *ACTUALLY* clean.
I feel bad for anybody that tries this.
