I like the title very much! You all depict the things I like best, a happy family, harmony and shared adventures. Of course, your boat is tip-top and all of your early hard work is still paying off. You all are fortunate to have Teal and his great engineering and craftsmanship, Linh's delicious cooking and sewing skills, Emma's smiles and brilliance and of course Compass's great disposition. This remains my favorite sailing channel, for all those reasons.

Emma, not sure when you graduate from high school, but are you thinking about getting your captains license? You have two great instructors. Best wishes for your future in whatever you decide to do. I have watched you grow up over the years and really enjoy the videos you and your parents make.
Great video. Got an idea for the shade shown at the end. How about adding magnets at the bottom of the shade (2 of them, one in each corner) then on the hull add 2 small corresponding metal pieces. In this way when the shade is down and the boat is rocking, the shade it not moving.

Given the amount of solar panels you have and reluctance to burn diesel. I wonder how an 80lb thrust 24v trolling motor would propel the cat during calm seas/little aft wind? Equivalent of about 2 hp and could be run off batteries or possibly directly from panels via a buck (DC voltage reducer) converter. Might get 3 knots from motor in calm conditions- just a musing thought.
I always wonder what the story is with some of the houses I see in remote areas/bays. Some are so incredible looking, and other equally incredible are abandoned. Question? Any plans on how far south you'll be going? I have my guesses but will be patient if you decide not to give out any clues. 😉💙💦⛵
The sailing handiman and woman...lol...This needs to be a side hustle., at all the anchorages, give tips and cues and help get ideas out to the masses/....of boats.

I didn't wear it because in Baja Norte they didn't require mask and Santa Rosalia was the first town officially in Baja Sur where they do require mask. I made the mistake of not having a mask on me, but the store let me in. We now always have a mask on us just in case. 👍
Was the gauge on the extinguisher just about out of the green? I’m surprised with all the quality equipment you have you don’t have a quality extinguisher.
We are hopeful that they will show up in Ensenada soon. They have little to no communication equipment onboard so they may not even realize that people are worried about them...thinking positive thoughts.

Like (i suspect) many others, im now actively un-subscribing them . genuine problems (inc weather) is ok … but not fake, made up, contrived and over dramatised… in every video. keep it up. .. a new subscriber!

We seldom have anything going on that would get us to have a more dramatic reaction, but it could happen. Lol. What difference does it make? For one thing, it takes time to process and edit videos. At some point they will catch up closer. Secondly, the distance in time also gives them some security since they aren't announcing to the world where they are at the moment. Just try to enjoy what and when they share their lives.
