- After spending a few weeks on the dock in Paradise Village and Riviera Nayarit Marina getting caught up on a few projects, it was nice to take a break from the boat work and enjoy the cruising life. Yelapa is a special place and we have made the most of our time here " Yee Ha!" but we will have to keep moving south so, come back next week to see where we end up...see you then!

I used to go to Yelapa once or twice every year to enjoy the beach, the food, and some paragliding.
That would have been amazing! What a great view you must have had!

I've never seen a fish cut that way before. I usually remove the guts first and then cut it up.
M catches Dinner for the Crew- sorta taking the hunter/gatherer thing away from Teal who is.. on light duty.
Well done Emma. Doing the job while ur Dad is kinda restricted.
I can steer this boat & the dingy too Dad, fix stuff on this boat, run errands around town, finish my schoolwork and
land a fish or two while I'm at it just say'n. Linh's lessons on Fileting the catch proved delicious later on pretty much.
With a lot of steps down to the beach and a beautiful view- led to a snack by the sand which was totally grand.
Back to basik for one sleepy stand before the early morning four-legged waterfall search began. A Sherpa led the way.
Sore bottoms sorta relieved with a refreshing dip, a round of "thickened epoxy" well maybe just a sip or two for my sore hips.
Pain medication does matter. What a cool place Yelapa is. Thanks for taking us along.

I noticed when Linh was filetting the fish he was no longer missing the bottom of his tail fin as we saw after
Emma had landed him. Hmmmm?
We caught 2 on the way over to Yelapa and only filmed Emma reeling in one of them.

Yelapa may just be the most laid-back town in all of Mexico. It can only be reached by boat or water taxi. Loved the dog Sherpa and seeing the waterfall outside of town. How was the food?

This was a little different and I liked it. It looked like a nice relaxing set of adventures in a pretty place. I liked the donkey trains and I thought it was nice that they had a pooper scooper following them. Or at least I assumed that's what the guy with the broom and scoop was doing. I have to say though, that would be kind of a crappy job. Who said that? 🙄
You're always a joy to watch because you're a genuinely nice family and seem to be always curious about what's around the next bend in the road of life.

Your google maps Zoom in and outs: could you get it smoother by capturing it at a higher frame rate before slowing it down.
That has been a frustrating issue for us for the last six months. We are capturing at 60 fps and actually speed up the video 2X not slowing it down...so confused! 🤔
Try frying the bones of the fish it’s pretty much tasty.Salt &blacl pepper 👍

I’m guessing 1 of two possible things that get enflamed making riding a horse VERY uncomfortable. If you know, you know. 😉

The last part of the trail leading to the waterfalls is done by foot. They told us to tie the burros up to the fence and hike in. 😊

Mexico is pretty much your sailing ground. Any envy of going west and crossing the big blue? Some youtubers I follow have done so...a few more than once.
We are pushing south now and will see Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama by the end of this year.

I have a suspicion... How particular is Teal about keeping that filet knife sharp?
Since Linh is the one who filets the fish, I suspect she is the one in charge of that.
I typically sharpen before fileting a fish. This was the second fish and I neglected to resharpen. 😊
Make fish head soup or at least fish broth before throwing carcus overboard.
I have noticed that you guys really don’t stray far from the Baja peninsula. Do you plan to travel to other countries. There are ways to do it without traveling too far out into the ocean as you probably already know
Oddly enough, they are spending time in places that interest them, and yes, they will be travelling to other countries.

Bonitos are a very bloody, oily fish and have a strong fishy flavor That is why most people do not eat. Here in Florida, we use them as bait for other species of fish. Have you thought about bleeding them out before you fillet? Simply stick them or cut into the gills and let them bleed out into the bucket (not to be shown on UA-cam). The flesh with be less bloody and not as strong of a fishy taste. We enjoy your videos.
When she was fileting it she said she had already bled it out, but that there was just some extra. They also said it is their favorite fish, so why would they use their favorite fish to eat as bait? Just because most people don't like a strong-tasting fish doesn't mean that all don't.
The Pacific bonitos are different from East coast. They not fishy tasting, light in color and excellent eating. 😊

They had to walk the last bit into the waterfall and then walk back to where they tied the donkeys.
Is the belly of this type of fish not good eating?
I just don't like a huge mess from the belly. The fish here are pretty lean so I'm not missing much. Now if this was a salmon, I would keep the belly. 😊

It's kind of funny, we have been trying our Spanish, but a lot of these areas they are also practicing their English. As we sail further South, we are seeing a huge shift in that and we are all practicing and trying to get better with our Spanish. Thanks for the question and following our channel!

!st you go from behind the fin to the top of the head at near an angle that way you dont waste the head meat you went straight then fed the fish alot of wasted meat sorry
