I’m a beginner (and also 60). When I was a kid, I had “quads” as they call them now and great balance. Now, I’m on inline and my balance is horrible but I don’t know if it is ankle strength, core strength, or somehow age has affected my sense of balance. They all seem to be extremely weak. I’m hoping workouts such as those shown here will improve all of these things... but I’m definitely struggling right now.
Make sure you see a ENT doctor and an otolaryngologist(balance doctor) If ur balance problem is due to medical reason It's good to see a doctor once in a while And take care And don't give up 😄😄☺️
Same here 57 and back to skating after xxx years away. Balance a struggle not helped by ankles not tuned for skating...I'm going out every day for min 15 mins up to 40 mins now. Getting better slowly...but it feels like the centre of gravity for triblade inclines is way shorter than for quads? So I'm teetering between falling forwards and falling backwards! It's a fine line!
I skated on 5 wheel Bont back in the 90s but I haven't skated since 96-97 and now my ankles have no strength at all, I bought somewhat entry level 4 wheel speed skates and it has been a struggle.
