- Anyone can do this. We found so many sapphires almost exposed on the bedrock, and we did not have to dig or sieve for them.

It's too bad I don't live in Australia :(
Yes still many stones to find in sapphire, reward and annekie...
GREAT WORK
If you or anyone that sees this text could help me finding cheap and good enough machines to cut-polish stones?
Some names of producers\manufacturers. Some brands and\or models. Some links to products in Amazone or another. Some names and description of the machine so I can do my own research.
In Europe or with delivery to Europe please.
Whatever that can help me find a cheap but reliable machine so I can do some experiments and if I have what it takes.
Thanks :)
What state is the best to find sapphires in i live in tas and done quite a bit in the welder river but its cold this time of year any tips lol

Ha! What!! You’ve seen my videos!? Ive looked up to you guys for so long, thank you so much for the kind comment 😁 you don’t know what that means. Thank you!
As a Australian gem cutter I definitely have to go to Queensland and find my own sapphires. A very nice video.
Are you serious bro, do you really believe that is Sapphire. I Personally think it’s broken glasses but good luck to you
It's great watching you too hound together, you both have different styles but both effective which is just double the fun to watch. All of those finds are beautiful, such treasure. Thanks again for a great video Liz 👍🏼
Aussies have much to be proud of and You and Walt prove it every single show... Kudos Aussie Nros...

I love your attitude, Liz! you get so excited, and it brings the excitement to me even in a place where there aren't many gemstones, other than Garnet.
Wow Liz, great finds! Been watching for 2+ years and still can’t stop watching!
I went to Nundle last Christmas looking for gold. We found a bit which was exciting for my first effort. I also found a beautiful red stone & some beautiful clear ones! But the person that was teaching me wasn't in to gem fossicking. So I just ended up bringing home a sack of the sieved (1/8 I believe) Watching this has spurred me on to get out in my backyard & start checking it! 😊
Love your infectious excitement. Im so happy that you find all of these beautiful rocks and create beautiful pieces!❤thank you for sharing.
You're most welcome Patty. Thanks for watching and wishing the best for the new year. Cheers, Liz

I'm sure it's a mis-click on the thumbs down. ;-) Thanks for watching and commenting and hope you get some useful info on my videos. Hope your daughter pursues this hobby as it is a very rewarding one which will help her pursue her jewellery making ambitions. Good luck out there, stay safe, have fun and may you find lots of wonderful treasures. Cheers, Liz
Would love to see the once they're cut and polished...Maybe you could make a video on that???? Would love to see how you 'transform' them into beautiful gem stones!!!

i went sapphire fossicking in Australia a few times when i lived there, i have watched your videos many times beforehand, and is was definitely the reason why i went fossicking while in Australia.

😍😍😍😍 oh my god, This is amazig. Liz, You are a gem magnet!!!! Seriously. You are so lucky and you know how to identify all types of valuable rocks just by having a glimpse at them. Please do a video of how to identify rough stones & also where to find them / look for. I would very much like to learn. Please please please do one.
Love. How she gets so excited.
I love your excitement and enthusiasm! I always try to spot the gems before you do when your camera is aimed at the ground. I am getting pretty good, but you are amazing at it! So fun!
Thank you for sharing this wonder of the world with those of us who cannot get there. :)
That just gave me an idea Granny T. Thank you!!! You would probably enjoy some virtual gem hunting videos. Thanks. Cheers, Liz
@@LizKreate That would be amazing!
Hi Liz, i'm Carol from the Philippines ...i enjoy watching your video specially during my break from work....I also love stones , rocks and gemstones..unfortunately we don t have those kind of stones here.. Like the way you explain, listening to inner voice is really great, you know about the stone very well.,thanks. 😁🌹👍❤
The way you got those gemstones was amazing. Wow! Great job 👍
Thanks Ms Faithful and thank you for watching. Sometimes the gem Gods is on my side. Cheers, Liz
I love your journey so much Liz. I can feel your excitement when you found those gemstones. Just such an aspiration for me 😍. Lots of love from Malaysia 💕
Liz captures how I used to feel when I was a kid. 💗
I love the energy you have!! Its intoxicating and after a long day at work, coming home and seeing this video made me smile :)
I wonder if you could put more of your cut gems in your videos though? Like, the stones we see you find in your videos, throwing in a small clip of what it turns out like (if you have already cut it) would be super cool!
Hi Michael, Thanks for watching and the suggestion. I will be doing some cut and polish videos when I get some free time from prospecting and will try and incorporate some of this finish pieces into our future videos. All the very best. Cheers, Liz
Wow, amazing Sapphire hunt. This is what I like to watch. And this video lowers my gold fever temperature a little bit ;-)
Greetings, all the way from Norway
(Kenneth Prospecting Norway)
Love your work Liz good job and keep up the good prospecting
I loved your excitement 💕
Liz, i like your style of following your heart more than the science method of your friend. Alot more fun :)
You Go Girl! Find those gemstones. Get enough to make you some jewelry.
Absolutely loved the video miss Kreate. Greetings again from Cali U.S.A.
I can totally relate to the excitement of finding a sapphire. My family had a claim at Rubyvale years ago and i just about did cartwheels every time i found even a chip. Thumbs up and you have a new subscriber.
Liz, I love watching your videos. You are a lot of fun and make it look so exciting. I was curious if what you do with all the sparklies you find. Do you sell them or just what do you do after finding those beauties? Perhaps you could dedicate a video to that aspect of the hobby, please. I am new tol this so forgive me and I admit to being naïve. Thank you and don't ever stop with that bubbly personality. Cheers!
Hi Joan, At the moment, we just collect and work on them but hopefully will be selling some in the future. I do have some videos on how I process some of them. Thank you for watching and may you have a wonderful new year. Cheers, Liz
lol, love your excitment, I totally get it, giving up my job and going fossicking is at the top of my bucket list, you're living the dream Liz :)
Crikey!.. it certainly is a bomb. You sound like I feel when I find an agate 😄😁😀 👍
OMG I just love you guys! Sapphire is my birthstone!
That’s a really big one! Any pictures of after-cut?
I love your energy
Thanks!
I would love to do what you do. I love rocks and i love collecting different kinds of minerals for my collection.
A GreenSapphire would be the centerpiece of my gem collection
love watching you Liz and Wal. I have some sapphires from Queensland too. would you mind looking at them for me please. I live in Queanbeyan. Can come to you.
Yes yes, would looove to see the big one cut whether or not it is a star sapphire! 👍 I didn't know you could get them that big?
I had a fossick for sapphires at "Cranky Rock" in NSW (albeit I didn't know what I was doing lol 😁) and the caretaker at the park office had sapphires in a jar that were found in the creek/river just below the Cranky Rock rock formation which is huge. So they must be there. I think I was looking in the wrong spot, I should have concentrated on the bedrock areas. There was just a small trickle of water flow, pretty easy access. Open camping tent/ van area among eucalypt trees. Plus emu, peacocks and tame possums. You wouldn't think anything was there looking at the sign on the road turn off, but once there, not far, we were so glad we went. Beautiful spot! 👍
I'm sure once you get to know your creek, the bigger sapphires will show up. Best of luck on your next trip. Cheers, Liz
Fantastically beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Love your enthusiasm.
Girl, you are fun to listen to. I love your excitement. Is your orange sapphire padparash quality?
Hi Winnie, Thanks for watching and glad to know you enjoyed the video. My understanding of Padparadscha sapphire is a color mixture of pink and orange. The Orange Sapphire I found on the video will be more of a light orange when cut. Cheers, Liz
@@LizKreate Well, I hope you find a pad soon. Very rare stuff. Im a jeweler and own three small, but very beautiful, pads. You probably know this already, but padparash is the Indian word for Lotus, which evidently has blooms of that orange pink color. I bought them and now I cant part with them. The dangers of working with gems, yes?
Hi Liz, if I'm finding heaps of black sand and small (Match head sized) garnetts + sapphires in a creek I go camping near. I've only spent 3 hours there so far cleaning out a few gravel beds on bedrock but my question is if there are lots of smaller sapphires will there also be a few big ones? Or if they are all small is it worth my time looking elsewhere?
You gave me a notification when I go to sleep.
It was 20:30
Now can that only be found in the country your in!? Or does those stones around any river or dried up area like your in? Just curious if they can be found like that here in the USA? I'm really curious!
Liz is the best! Keep up the wonderful and great videos that's jus so beneficial!
Thats amazing...sapphires are BEAUTIFUL
Lovely CRUMBS Liz!!
They sure are Jan. Hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Liz
Save some for me lol! I can’t believe how abundant the large ones are there! Great job again guys
I actually tossed that one away and have to find it again after something whispered in my ear...LOL Just imagine my joy when I found it again. Thanks for watching Jack. Cheers, Liz
I love your videos you guys..Cheers from Tassie..
Nice Finds!
I find your videos fascinating we have been to graves hill recently and did not find any sapphires could you suggest where to go in graves hill it would be appreciated
Hi John, Base on the Graves Hill Fossicking mud map, drive about one kilometer to Mt. Clifford area on the left and take the first gate through the pine forrest where there's lots of abandoned mullock heaps. Just do some noodling on the surface and digging in the abandoned holes. After spending a couple of hours noodling, we found a a handful of sapphires from this area when we were there last with a couple possible cutters. Good luck and happy hunting. Hope you find a really nice one or two or three.... Cheers, Liz
@@LizKreate Thankyou so much for your reply we are going up to Rubyvale again next year and will try our luck again I love your vidieos regards John
I would be losing my mind!!! 😂
Congratulations on the 87 cart
Sapphire.
Love your excitement Liz
Winners are grinners 😊😀
How many grams actually makes a gem cart Liz..
Dose it take 5 gram gold weight to make a gem cart. ..?
Merry Christmas to you guys.
Cheers Tony.👍🤓🍺⛏
Hi Tony, Thanks for watching. To answer your question... There are five carats in one gram. So in gold terms way of thinking... that sapphire is 17.4 grams. :-) Merry Christmas to you too and Wishing you the very best for the NEW YEAR. Cheers, Liz
Liz Kreate
Thanks Liz and a special hi to Wal..
Cheers 🥂
I would love to see how you cut these gems, it looks like it wouldnt be easy ^^;;. Im also wondering how you'd cut that big sapphire, and if it would really make a proper star? Your excitement for finding gems is so infectious, I wish I could do this sort of stuff myself, love your videos
Thanks for watching Lyneana. I won't know until I cut the big sapphire whether it'll show some asterism. I'll keep in mind to do a video on that. Cheers, Liz
Oh good good good one I've not seen love it.
Hi guys love your videos i know this was a while ago but I've been to graves hill and have the luck of living close to visit regularly where is this part of graves hill?
This is in the main creek at Graves Hill. Just follow the length of that creek fossicking along the way. Hope you find some beauties. Thanks for watching and stay safe. Cheers, Liz
another very pleasing video you guys..we share an age bracket and I sure wish we shared similar gem finding skills..lol Love your work ..
Thanks Wayne. I hope luck is on your side with your next gem hunt. Cheers, Liz

What are you doing with these stones? Do you sell it or keep it
I sell some and keep some. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Great video!! I can't help but to feel a little bit mad that I am not able to find anything but calcite where I'm from 😬. But still, I cherish the specimens I find. Love your enthusiasm for when you find a sapphire, definitely liking!
Thanks for watching and commenting LTS. You're very lucky. Calcite is a wonderful find. The variations can be very diverse. Very interesting mineral. Happy Hunting. Cheers, Liz
Hi Liz! How do you tell the difference between zircons, spines and sapphires! They all look the same!
Beautiful
Thank you for watching Jasmine and hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz
With that quality of sappires you found, how much price each carat?
Do you sell any stones off that you find?
Nice findings, and thanks for video.
Rich Mother Nature in Australia!
great!! 2 sapphires in two minutes!!
NIce! Check out the bright green little crystal in the background at 8:05
Hi Jason, What you're referring to is a piece of decomposed green rubber gloves from previous prospectors who worked this area. Thanks for watching and hope you've enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz
Hi Liz, I was looking for Gold at Nundle NSW, everyone was panning in the peel river? I think. I went off on my own using my metal detector it went off big time. I dug & found a huge blue stone I thought was glass. lol The Lapidary manger came running over, & everyone threw their pans down to see it. Where did you find that? Just their. It was a Sapphire. I forgot about the Gold under that cause the metal detector went off big time. lol Can;t wait to get back to the good life. xox
I was holding my breath and can almost feel your excitement as I'm reading your comment. Wow lucky you!!! By the way, how big was the gold?
@@LizKreate LOL Liz, when I found that Sapphire I forgot about the Gold that triggered my metal detector in the first place. It went off, I dug & found the Sapphire, which means their was Gold down their somewhere. I forgot. But the Sapphire was nice. x
I find it funny when almost everytime you get excited, it looks like the video is on 1.25x speed. I have to check if it is on the correct setting haha! But great video as always, and very nice finds! :)
Confession... Instead of speeding up, some of those scenes I might have slowed them down. LOL... Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
😍😍😍 verry beautiful
Thanks for watching and commenting Edgard. Hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz
