@@orionfrost imho potion crafting isn't a big deal. It's going to be the same as ITL. Ie Focussing but with a different name. While this is cool for sure, taking away a feature and bringing it back with extra steps and a new name isn't what I had hoped for
"We've created the biggest exotic mission ever"... That you'll have to run 15 times for the exotic, to craft it, and all of its intrinsic upgrades.
imagine grinding a mission in a game that is based on grinding. How dare they xD. No seriously some people shouldnt play Destiny if they have a problem with the fundamentals of the game.

@@coasterplay1062 There's a difference between "grinding" and "repetitively diving dick first into the same piece of content 30 times, 30 times separately if it's timegated".
I absolutely agree with your statement, if people don't like to grind they shouldn't play, but if the grind itself isn't made to at least be enjoyable, then are you playing a game, or are you working overtime?
Yeah its called a grind. They arent gonna give out great loot easily. If u cant handle that then destiny might not be the game for you

If they’re going to the trouble of revamping the dreadnaught’s interior, we’ll likely be able to explore it. They wouldn’t market the return of the dreadnaught if we’re not going to explore it. After all, a piece of the dreadnaught already exists in d2. Many people don’t know this, unless you did the touch of malice catalyst, but a large part of the dreadnaught’s old free roam is behind the court of oryx portal in D2

Sounds like D3 is coming somewhere between 25-26’ . I sincerely hope Act 2 of Echos gets a lot better. I’m really pumped though for Revenant . Love the whole Vampire theme thing. Be awesome is we got a blood sucking weapon lol .

Can confirm. Me and 2 homies did all the triumphs the week they launched besides the solo one, and I got it back when Warlords launched. Now almost 1/10 times I run it I get a duplicate drop. It's been my favorite exotic since I got it. Keep grinding friend. It'll drop sooner or later.
Definitely do those triumphs, it helps. Took me 36 runs. Once you get it, go for the catalyst. The catalyst side mission is really easy and you don't have to fight Hefnd (final boss)
Yeah idk why they don't have drop protection for everything like come on some of us have jobs
My buddy finally got his last week after about 50 runs, and he hates how it feels. I want it and know I would love the builds it would enable.

The corn is a beautiful deep green in the irrigation field. How much taller is that corn to your other stuff planted around the same time.

The irrigated corn looks great It will be interesting to see what the corn yields. I’m guessing high 200s or low300. It will make you want to buy another unit.

Eido could be based in the pale heart but as a reminder we usually go through a portal in the helm during seasons like with season of the wish to see riven, season of the deep etc etc. so it most likely be that.

The potion room looks like it's located in the area before the hall of champions
kinda want to go through the dreadnought and see if the light hive and the hive from the moon fighting for dominance over the area. like seeing conflict between the light infrastructure and dark.

Would love to see a future exotic hand cannon in any element outside of solar and kinetic, wether it’s a dungeon drop or exotic mission. I think we have 7 kinetic exotic hand cannons, and 2 solar hand cannons.. weird to me in ten years we haven’t had one in void or arc

@@charleswidmore5458 constructive consensus is the way I believe. Instead of us all crying it's boring tell them why in a civil way. We don't like the timegated stuff or banner for two weeks, BC theres nothing to pursue the ib guns arnt worth the grind and the content available for these two weeks arnt challenging or rewarding enough to justify the two weeks long break as an example. That way bungie CM can take down notes and pass them on. Better that than us going it's shit it's boring I'm not playing haha
Most people have all the weapon patterns they want for Pale Heart and Echoes. Raid is fun, but weapons aren't unique enough to get me through lfg pain to get red boarders. Elden ring dlc just came out. Everything else in the game is the same old content, and a lot of people dont care about the pinnacle grind. Destiny is a game you hop on and off from time to time, and it's fine. Only people complaining are those who dont play anything else but destiny.
The grind turned me off from this game yet again right after finishing the campaign and exotic missions. One step forward, two steps back. I just can't find enjoyment in Bungie's methodology. And the player numbers dropping once again to abysmal lows shows that their foray into "Episodes" did exactly jack to improve on the seasonal model. The way they've done Pathfinder is annoying. Bright dust acquisition is annoying.
Get this, for their lack of ability to improve the worst parts of their game, like Gambit and Crucible right now, they instead /force/ you to play them if you want to progress Pathfinder. That's a brilliant way to shun players if I ever did see one. I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend LITERAL HOURS running the same tired ritual activities over and over again.
And on top of this, multiple systems within their own game cancel one another out. Ritual activities, by nature, require you to play for streaks, doing the same content over and over again, yet Pathfinder forces you into jumping from one ritual activity to another. So, which is it? It makes no sense.
I think that it's just become apparent at this point that Bungie's entire "Modus Operandi", their entire company culture, culminates into a complete and total inability to create repeatable content that doesn't sabotage itself in some kind of way, and it's because they almost always figure out a way to poison it as a method for artificially extending playtime, promoting FOMO, blocking progression, etc. I've watched them consistently sabotage their own game for years now.
Let remind everyone in the Sunless Cell strike there was a reference orxy use the prisoner as materials create the skin for the ship so most likely someone Oryx defeated is causing this effect on the ship
Oryx used akka (worm god)was the skin for the dread naught, not prisoners.

if the dungeons are separate from the episodes, i’m not entirely sure what we’re paying for.
The first two acts of this episode are going to be basic seasonal content, until we get the exotic mission, but that’s still on par for seasons.

Bungie wanting to do more world building reminds me for that scene where Saint-14 and Osiris say that they want to explore the universe. Maybe the game will follow them?

It seems like with how bungie is focusing on “expanding the world” I think it would work well in their favor to create an open world game based on the collapse and the dark ages. I’m thinking stuff with rogue guardians. That would be awesome
Also, with heresy, I could see us maybe getting a third darkness subclass (I’m begging for taken) because of the mysterious power stirring in the dreadnaught, the fact it’s on the dreadnaught, and all of the lore that we recently got about the winnower who gave oryx his ability to take. Even if we don’t get another subclass, I think that we’re going to start seeing the winnower show up more
I actually preffer shorter exotic missions, like the vex one from the first season of Lightfall
I think we will get wrath of the machine in episode 2 act 2
I don’t think we are even going to get a raid this year tbh
New exotic mission is timed, you'll be 30 power under, will need a team of 4, divinity for each player and finally a maxed out full set of artiface armor
So like are we ever getting another raid or was salvations edge it for destiny?
It's very likely that the next raid will be with the new "frontiers" expansion.

I'm going to absolutely be torn by having to choose between Frontiers and the collector's edition for Doom the Dark Ages. Doom looks SO much fun to play, while Frontiers we know nothing about

I’m glad they say expanding the universe. And it’s called frontiers. More enemies coming in from outside of our solar system. Or us journeying out of the solar system. Either would be cool af.
You will have to have 1 different veteran player in your fireteam each time you craft a potion.

I think it would be a huge miss for them not to bring back the Dreadnought as a destination, both as nostalgia for the oldheads and for the new lights who've joined us who never got to experience it the first time
I REALLY pray that we get the ability to focus exotic class items just so we can get the rolls we want without having to grind for weeks just to get a small handful of rolls that r mid at best because the ENTIRE way 2 get them being rare, rng AND 64 different rolls per guardian is ABSOLUTELY ASININE!!

That Zero Hour was tough 😂 had to do it LFG and we finished with 2 seconds on the clock. We actually killed the boss with 30 seconds left, but there was a shank hiding in the back of the map and we were frantically looking for the last ad.

Because many people were in the mindset of finish the saga and leave no longer happy with Destiny and the direction it was taking.
Personally was gonna give at least episode one a chance to see if its any different to seasons and yuh already tempted to just hang up my Warlock robe and quit after act 1.
Actually, it's worse than that. It's down by 2/3, which is probably the steepest drop-off in players ever. There's a reason you see Destiny 2 streamers experimenting with other games now. They see how things are dwindling. Pity. The story and art in the game can be interesting but the strange gameplay design decisions, bugs, nerfs and other problems are driving people away.

Agreed. The witness’ raid was lack luster and missing 1-2 encounters with how much walking we did.
Hopefully this exotic isn’t the reason why the main bad guy had a short raid.

This is all nice, but now Bungie and Sony need to work together to bring Adaptive Triggers to Destiny. Honestly at this point I’m just hoping for it in D3.

I have a theory about this weapon, which hopefully is an exotic.
I feel like this gun is gonna be a kenetic weapon that shoots potions. Could be custom potions or potion themed around the one's we make.
Maybe a Support-Frame Auto? ADS will deal "offensive-potion" effects, while hip-firing will deal "defensive-potion" effects?
I think it a shotgun that heals on hit, it a vampire themed season around the fallen/scorn afterall
@@sirqrow881 Technically, Buried Bloodline already does that. But I can see something like a Slug Shotgun that fires stakes. Targets you hit with it become anchors that the drain the health of nearby enemies(kinda like Child of the Old Gods).
Back before episodes was a thing they said that episodes would have a long run time with 3 acts with 1 or 2 exotics each act, I know we're in our first episode but I was disappointed at how this act 1 turned out
Mostly disappointed because this is just a seasonal model that's even worse
looking forward to whats coming to D2 but the most important thing is to have us engaged in the game until those patches arrive, so i hope they dont start slacking now, we need new strikes!!!, pvp maps, activies overall, buffed subclasses so the old ones can keep up with prismatic which they really cant atm. and so on.
if there is a D3, it will be open world fully, i feel like frontiers is going to be a bigger open world, hence, "doing linear story for a while now" yeah...open world. promise

That Dreadnaught Glaive looks amazing, I hope it’s kinetic/stasis/strand so I can three glaive a loadout.
So real, I’m a bow/glaive connoisseur so I would love to be able to use my energy slot bows with a glaive.
@@Modern_and_industrial_lighting I have winterbite as a heavy and greasy luck as my energy weapon probably use raconteur as my bow if I am getting medieval but I have a triton vice build that hits like a truck and generates so much transcendent energy. And since Tritons got buffed so all glaive finishing blows create explosions instead of just ones matching subtype. Stacking up 6 Winterbite shots to follow with 12 greasy luck ones is using the glaive (shock lances) to their fullest.
@@tysonkrunek4132 my favorite load out with barrier and unstoppable champions is wish Ender, ecliptic distaff, and an eager edge sword for movement. Sadly glaive do not have intrinsic unstop 😔

@@Modern_and_industrial_lighting I like shattering headstones with facet of ruin. Also realized if using winterbite you can get nine shots before a manual reload because of facet of command.
Once all these stories are concluded, wouldn’t be surprised if they stop d2 and move to d3
