In today's video, I'm trying on thrifted outfits from my favorite style themes! (y2k, 90's, retro, and more!) I decided to online thrift some fun new (to me) secondhand pieces to create some plus size friendly, size 16 outfits that I'm truly obsessed with! The outfits were really cute! I just don’t understand why every youtuber acts like Thredup’s estimated retail price is at all accurate when everyone knows it’s soooo inflated. as soon as someone gets a sponsorship with them they pretend like those estimated prices are realistic
The 70’s look is so for you. The 70’s was the decade of wide bellbottoms and jumpsuits, both of which look good on tall people. Flares/bellbottoms are perfect on tall people!
If I’m completely honest I’m not sure how I feel about ThredUp. I mean, I get their business idea and motive but I still find lots of their stuff pricey! An the purse being unbranded with a estimated price of $60 is very confusing. Material wise and condition could be a factor but it looks like a shein bag to me
I totally agree, it’s sort of similar to depop pricing which for me takes away the purpose of thrifting 😅
This is why most I buy something from Thredup, I do a goody box of items I pick out myself. It's $10 and they send 10 items to me to try on and decide if I want to keep them. If I keep an item, the $10 goes towards the purchase of said item. If I don't, I'm out $10 but it does include free shipping to me and back to them so I think it's worth it.
The unbranded purse retail price of $60 is hilarious
Loved this video! And in the future I’d love to see you try a jeans repair service where you mail in your ripped/worn down jeans and they repair them and mail them back. I think many midsize and plus size people’s jeans get worn out in similar ways so it would be great to know which repair services do a good job with those sorts of issues ☀️

I would be interested in your process of thrifting outfits. Like a first an idea and then searching for individual pieces or other way round?
I know it would be pricey, but I’d be very interested in what you would get if you could have a completely custom piece from a seamstress. Between the customer and designer there can be so much creativity, maybe a fun video!

When I was a teenager I wanted to have bands t-shirts, but I couldn't buy them because I lived in a very small town and I could never find one. I am almost 30 years old now, I have a lot of those and I LOVE THEM.

The new look store in my neighbourhood has gone broke. It breaks my heart lmfao, I don't understand how though, cause it was quite popular to my knowledge. I mean, not that popular that it's super uncomfortable to shop at, but still not completely empty.
